Mavis Tire - Bradenton Omdömen 

I was a loyal customer until last week, having replaced the tires on at least three of my cars (a Hellcat, a Mustang, and a Jeep) over the last couple of years.
Two weeks ago, I paid over $1,800 for four tires and an alignment for my Ram truck. When I picked up my truck, I advised the staff immediately that the TPMS sensors were not registering. I was told that the TPMS sensors would automatically reset. However, after a week, they still had not reset, so I had to return for a forced reset. It took three visits before Mike even attempted to resolve the issue. He repeatedly told me that "all techs were busy" or that the "tire guy" was not there, asking me to return the next day. After waiting almost an hour on my third visit, he asked me to return later yet again. I finally had to remind Mike that I had already paid for this service and needed the issue resolved immediately. Shortly after, he spoke with one of the technicians and returned in less than a minute. He then informed me that they do not even have the tool required to reset TPMS sensors for my truck or other newer vehicles. It took three visits and my refusal to leave and come back a fourth time for Mike to discover this information in less than ONE MINUTE!

I ultimately had to visit a dealership to get the issue resolved. While there, I learned that two of my tires were inflated to 46 and 47 PSI, while the other two were at 32 and 33 PSI. Mavis Tire could not even inflate the tires to the truck's factory specification of 36 PSI.

I belong to several national Hellcat, Mustang, Corvette, Ram, Jeep, and Bronco forums, as well as multiple local car clubs and Facebook groups. I will ensure that all members are made aware of my experience with Mavis Tires & Brakes located at 5706 FL-64, Bradenton, FL 34208.

Too bad you can't leave a ZERO. I had an expensive brand new high performance tire that was stabbed by a neighbor kid. Caught on video, parents agreed to pay for the tire if I brought them the old one. Went to Mavis, they had to order one so I left my wheel and tire to come back in the morning. They got the tire in around 9am and had it on by 10am and I came to pick it up at 11pm. THEY CLAIMED THEY ALREADY THREW OUT MY TIRE! In less than an hour?!?! THEN THEY DEMANDED I PAY A TIRE DISPOSAL FEE! Plus, they charged me for a wheel pressure sensor. TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY THEY INSISTED ON CHARGING ME FOR TIRE DISPOSAL!! I requested a call and was contacted by a horrible "regional manager" named Jacob Troup (561) 363-9081 who told me 1) It was a LAW that they had to charge me for tire disposal even though I wanted to keep my tire, 2) that he was the "regional manager" but could not tell me what "region", 3) That he was sorry they stole my tire and ruined by pressure sensor but there was nothing they could do, and 4) he refused to give me his bosses name or contact info. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GET YOUR TIRES!!!

I just have to say, that I am 100% totally here for this store. 4 months ago I had a serious road hazard issue with a tire 10 miles out. They were able to fix it asap and took great care of my issues. ' Parker was the Man'
I live 40 miles from here and just got a new set of tires for my sprinter 4x4. 3 set 140k. The new run ride great and im happy with them, so far after 700 miles.

The actual service experience was great, however it came back to bite me later. I had all 4 tires on my Tesla replaced here. Cost $1,800.

Nowhere verbally or on paper did they explain that they did not do alignment for Teslas. So 7 months later, the tires had significant inner wear and had to be replaced. Calling Mavis just got me "oh we don't do Tesla alignment, you're SOL".

This is not how to treat customers. Not only should they have made it abundantly clear that it was on me to get alignment done post tire change, because they couldn't do it, but 7 months later when I have to replace those tires, do I get no sympathy, accountability, or help from them.

Stop in for tire repair today and was taken quickly. I was told my waiting time would be around 45 minutes, my tire was repaired within 30 minutes. The manager and service technician were terrific. They explained the repair and advised me tire was restored to original specification, no worries ahead just stay away from road nails.

I was quoted $80 for service I was having was charged $127. Asked why he said needed more quarts. I said you never talked about price in quarts. Very deceiving was not friendly seems like new staff. Never had issue before. Will look for new service place for future. Spent a lot of money here took all my family cars here.

Stay Away from Mavis Tires – Worst Experience Ever

I called Mavis for 4 new tires. Their price was higher than Walmart, but they convinced me Walmart wasn’t a good option. Big mistake. After the install, my car was shaking like crazy. I went back for a rebalance—waited 1.5 hours with an appointment before they even touched my car. Still shaking after the service.

Came in a second time—waited 2.5 hours and they never even started on my car. Again, I had an appointment. I asked for a return. They refused.

So I went to Walmart. Got better tires, for less money, and guess what? The car drives perfectly smooth now—no issues at all.

I’m beyond disappointed. Mavis cost me money I can’t get back, wasted my time, and delivered nothing but frustration. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

Can honestly say once again, Stacy was fantastic and quick and honest. I just love coming to this place. I always feel I can be safe here with everyone. She is a wonderful person and very very professional.

I had the best customer service on Sunday. I was having a terrible time trying to get a tire patched. They took me in and got it done. They reminded me there are good people in this world. They changed my day and I can’t thank them enough. Stacy you are so sweet. Thank you and you have a customer for life!

I just had the best experience at Mavis Tire. Mike, Jerry, and Courtney were knowledgeable, professional and communicated the situation perfectly. They were willing to go out of their way to help me...even to the point of being willing to drive to the supplier get the tire I needed or to go home to see if they had the lock key needed for my car. They were beyond wonderful!!

I have been going to Mavis for years, they take care of all my cars, they are always prompt, take care of work needed, warranty their work, friendly, etc.

Worst ever experience in my life purchased for pirelli tires run flats very expensive with the alignment thinking I was getting the best they wore out in 4,000 miles from a terrible alignment from Mavis tires called corporate nothing was done mechanics do not know what they're doing now I am stuck with worn out tires and out of hundreds of dollars do not bring your car to Mavis tires they do not back it up and the mechanics do not know what they're doing at your expense they have over 1,400 complaints on the better Business bureau that should say something wish I would have read them before going there

I have bought all of my tires for my three vehicles and tandem axle boat trailer at this location since it opened as a Kaufman tire around a decade ago. I have continued to patronize this location as it transitioned to Mavis tire. I have always given five stars to this location throughout my history with them, and have never been disappointed with the customer service. The last two times I have been there I had to deal with one of the rudest customer service reps that I have ever dealt with at any organization. His name is Jack, he is white, and wears a white cap. When I visited recently I walked in with two or three other customers, this guy just started rudely yelling at me and the other customers before we could even state why we were there. If I was a new customer I would have left and never came back. Knowing that the rest of the people at mavis are good folks, I was not going to let this guy ruin it for me. I calmly kept my composure to communicate what I needed to get done. This guy needs some serious training.

Jerry the manager makes the experience so easy. He is an asset to the company.

I was having a really bad day (stolen cell phone) and to top it off I ran over a huge bolt that flattened my tire. Upon entering Mavis, in Lakewood Ranch, Florida, Mark greeted me. He said they were fully booked but I could come in tomorrow morning. I asked him if he would just take a look at the tire to see if it was safe. After looking at the tire and seeing me in tears about how bad my morning was he squeezed me in . Not only did he squeeze me in he made sure I was out of there with-in an hour and a half to pick my son up from school. When the tire was patched and repaired they aligned my tires. Jerry the GM came in and said "No charge!!" I looked at Mark and he said "You deserve to smile today!" They went over and beyond to make sure I was safe to drive and that I left having a smile on my face. The little things that people can to do to brighten your day goes a long way. I appreciate that act of kindness and will pay it forward when I can. Thank you so much to Jerry, Mark and Daulton (The tech who patched my tire). You made a bad day a little better because of your thoughtfulness!!!
