Our experience was rather different to…
Our experience was rather different to that described in other testimonials.
Having paid over £16,000 we expected a much better service than we actually received. The amount to be moved was badly under estimated. Some of the packing was good but much of it was poor resulting in damage,breakages and losses. In the move itself there appeared to be no one in control.
All in all not an experience one would wish to repeat.

Thank you for your review. Moving house after 70 years is always going to be a stressful process. We take your points on board, however wish to make the comments below.
You were due to have 4 Luton van loads of pre move house clearance in order to de clutter prior to removal. When the team arrived you decided not to part with many of the items outlined, and only went ahead with 2 van loads in the weeks before, which meant there was considerably more volume to move on the removal days. We did not considerably under estimate the volume, we calculated this accurately and arranged additional vehicles and staff in advance of the move. The removal was completed no later than 6pm on the day. The move was managed by our foreman and by myself and Anthony in the office, we don't feel it was disorganised.
We were sorry to hear that there were some breakages. We did swiftly place you in touch with our insurance company Basil Fry to resolve (They have not heard from you or received a completed claim form).

Very professional movers, who worked really hard and efficiently to get our move completed - just before Christmas.
We weren’t moving far and we’re able to get unpacked pretty quickly. One of our moving guys came back took the remaining boxes after the Christmas break.
We were recommended this company by our estate agent & we will let them know how we’ve gotten on & will highly recommend Matrix to others in future.

What a wonderful team
There are still companies that go out of their way to help you at difficult times. Matrix is one such company. Each member of staff I dealt with at Matrix made my move go very smoothly. I would not hesitate to recommend them for house clearance and removals to a different part of the country.

No hesitation in recommending Matrix removals. Nothing was too much trouble in the planning for the move. Everything was catered for and individually discussed. Full packing service was incredible! Thank you so much. Removal day went so smoothly - our team worked so hard all day. Everything was packed and loaded with great care. The team of cleaners arrived and did a fantastic job so the house was left pristine for the new owners. On arrival at the new property everything was unloaded quickly and carefully. Beds were rebuilt and furniture placed, moved, placed again...... and again! A really helpful and patient team who worked with a smile all day. Fantastic - thank you all so much!

100% happy with Matrix Removals and the service we received. We had a great couple of friendly and well-presented removal guys that co-ordinated everything on the day brilliantly - made the move much more of a smooth and stress-free experience.
