I had the opportunity to work with The Maskülen Essence as a dating model and also to attend a retreat in Morocco with Deniz and his clients, and I can honestly say it was a very positive and impactful experience.

I attended a date with Deniz after he reached out to me through his work Instagram account. I was curious to see how someone who teaches dating and confidence coaching would present himself in person. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.

During the date, several comments were made that felt patronising and out of touch - for example, telling me I was “funny for a woman” and remarking that I looked better in person. Rather than showing emotional awareness or respectful communication, the interaction reflected outdated attitudes many people are trying to move away from in modern dating.

The date ended abruptly when he stepped outside to take a call. Around ten minutes later, I received a message saying he had left due to a work emergency. There was no goodbye in person, and I was left to settle the bill alone.

I would not normally leave a negative review, but I feel it is important to share this experience because this business positions itself as teaching men how to date and build meaningful connections. Based on my interaction, I would encourage anyone considering this programme to reflect on whether this coaching represents the kind of respectful and socially aware dating behaviour they wish to develop.
