People need to pay attention to the website spelling they're buying from. The company with the real knives is MATSATO. People have been ordering knives from MASATO.
Those are two different websites...One's real & one's FAKE.

Last year (Dec. 26) I purchased a knife and some days later, a leather case for it. I haven't received any of them. I have been complaining since then and Matsato and the Dutch courier GLS have only given me stalling and slippery answers. I wanted to cancel both orders but MATSATO says it is only possible after I receive the items. The courier GLS Netherlands, where I live, give contradictory answers and pull the responsibility to MATSATO. MATSATO does the same thing. I requested many times tha MATSATO contact the courier, but it says that "under their policy", they cannot make contact the couriers they themselves hire! It's a preposterous and ridiculous answer. I am entitled to say that it is a big scam.

Matsato is a Temu Company Selling Cheap Mass Produced Knives, They have zero Knowledge of Customer Services, just a repudiative AI system that can only repeat the same lines, Their website offer knives @ 70% discount for £19.99 but when you reach checkout it’s gone up to £29.99, when you have a genuine complaint that should trigger an exchange, they can’t do that, if you want to return an item you have to pay return postage! They even subtract the Original postage from your return payment, don’t bother with them there are not Japanese Brand, but a cheap copy made in China

I ordered two Masato knives on April 21, 2025 with an delivery date of April 30, 2025.
I called Customer service on May 02, 2025 to enquire about the delivery of my items. I was to wait until May 14, 2025 for the delivery of my items and to call back on the 16 of May.
I called on the 16 of May 2025 when my items have not arrived. I was told to track down the delivery company to locate my order. I was then told to wait until May 23, 2025 the product should arrive then.
I called on the 23rd when my item did not arrive and requested a refund and was told they do not do refunds and to wait until the 26 of May and call again.

Masato is bs I still waiting for my knife 2 months after it was supposed too be here and every time I contact them thay say that the team will contact me inside 24 hours but I think thay don’t know the time because I never get a respond. So in my mind it is a scam

I found it almost impossible to get to the order page of your sale.
I only wanted to order 2 knives and 2 sheaths, however I must have touch another product in error to which I don't want, around $90.00. This was done whilst frustrated with your system. No matter what I tapped I couldn't get any joy, please check my order and remove the item I don't want and credit my account. Many thanks and look forward to hearing from you very soon

Regarding this company named MASATO I bought on line an offer they had for two of their knives for 59.95. I thought this was a good offer so I ordered and paid for them. four months down the line I have received nothing, I have contacted them at least 7 times regarding the situation only to be told they are looking into it.
I have requested a refund each time only to be told that they are not in a position to do that.
In this day of modern technology how hard can it be to do a refund after at least four months.
There has to be something wrong with the way this company works when they can take a person's money and then tell them that they cannot or will not return it all due to their own error . To keep contacting these people is a waste of time. I will get on to my bank and see what they can do regarding the payment and see if they can do a reverse credit when I provide them with the proof of the amount of emails that I have😡
It's hit and miss with these guys stay away from them.
