Nick Ives and Sara Longdon, did fantastic work in helping our son, who has autism and OCD. He had to appear in the magistrates court on two separate occasions facing different charges. It has taken two years for the case to reach the course and it has taken a heavy toll on my son's mental health. Nick and Sara moved the case forward and kept us informed all the way through the process. Furthermore, they cared about our son and achieved the best possible outcome given the circumstances. I was accused by the police more than 2 years long, which I didn’t know I was involved in a criminal activity. For the first two interviews the duty solicitor did not advise me well caused this case took so long and got charged in the end. I’m lucky found this firm. After struggling with a few lawyers I had a hard time getting Mary Monson to fight my corner but when you have someone like Joseph Kotrie Monson who will not give up until he gets heard and would go extra miles to make sure he makes his client happy, like my self who can not believe what result they have got me in court. Alex and Joseph fought hard to get my case and they already knew what results they’re getting me. Being in custody facing a lengthy charge needing some faith and support I was promised by Alex and Joseph that everything will
Be alright and that I would have to call them if at any point in custody I felt down in my case I was so low they got me back up on my feet, they got me in to court and put the biggest smile on my face I really can’t believe what they done for me. Not at anytime did they delay any updates to my family who was also going through a difficult time whilst I was in custody always put them at ease and never did they doubt my family. I was always visited in custody every week with 2 hours slot even if there wasn’t a lot of evidence to talk about they made sure they stuck by my shoulder and had time,put faith in me. Robert fitt my barrister was also chosen by Alex and Joseph because they knew that Robert had the capacity to fight hard in my situation they all prepared to fight all in or nothing for me, I felt like it was my family having a battle on my behalf I was being told by other lawyers silly years (5 years) (7 years) well knowing what solicitors I had I walked home in court on a suspended sentence. They always told me there’s a light at the end of the tunnel and I finally see the light today I was so down Joseph and Alex got me back up. And I couldn’t thank them enough. Reception staff also very polite they made sure if I couldn’t get through to my lawyers they would make me call back later knowing i could speak to my legal team. Caitlin my paralegal was also very polite and in control of my situation she made sure work was done to a high standard and would also keep me updated by mail in custody I couldn’t thank her enough. I was charged with a criminal offence and I chose Mary Monson as my solicitors. Mr. Nick Ives was my direct contact, and he was amazing throughout what was an arduous process. Mr. Ives was very patient and reassuring. He didn't drown me in legalesse, instead, he explained what is a complex legal system in very simple terms. Throughout the whole process, I felt cared for. Beyond being my solicitor, Mr. Ives showed genuine care about my wellbeing.
