I purchased a bag of caramels and…

I purchased a bag of caramels and makeup. I went to the store in Alton Pkwy in Irvine, CA to return the items, but met with refusal to accept the items for return by the sales associate Nargis. I told her the bag of caramels is unopened and I chose not to keep it because I had a family member buy one for herself and I tried it and it was awful and not good at all, so I wanted to return mine that was unopened. And the makeup I purchased had a stench upon opening it. I told the sales associate Nargis that it had a awful odor and said I had to return it because I cannot use it. She gave me a hard time and refused to return the items. I told her i would not have known the smell if I did not open the makeup. And why are they selling bad products that are old in the first place? I told her I would like to speak to the manager. And she said she will speak to them instead. No where in the website does it specify any restrictions on certain goods that can be returned. The standard return specifies on their website: Standard Return Policy for Items Purchased in Stores - Our customers continue to be our top priority. If you're not satisfied with your purchase, return the merchandise accompanied by a register receipt within 30 days of purchase for an exchange or refund in the original form of tender. A 10-day period from the date of purchase is required for a cash refund on check purchases. Returns with a receipt over 30 days, with a gift receipt or without a receipt will receive merchandise credit only. Merchandise credits are subject to the Terms and Conditions printed thereon and imposed by the issuer which may include restrictions on transfers.
The store was not understanding to loyal customer like myself and they treated me as if I did something wrong. They sold a bad product and I was returning it. Why would they be so difficult about that? They do not uphold to the quality standards they should be holding in regards to service and their products. They seem like they do not care and treats valuable loyal customer as if we are the problem. The products they sold that are bad is the problem.

Do not get the minor III earplugs…

Do not get the minor III earplugs Bluetooth. Worst experience ever, they dont hold power for more than 30min on one side, and if lucky 2 hours on the left, been like this since I unpacked them, for the price the worst bluetooth ive ever had.
Not recommended...

I ordered and paid for a set of 2… they shipped 1/2 and then ignored me

I ordered and paid for a set of 2 identical lamps. When the package arrived there was only 1 lamp. I have sent 3 emails to Marshall's Customer Care (along with photos of the packaging and contents) and filled out their online complaint form..... they have not acknowledged the shortage or receipt of the complaint. In short, they have done nothing other than completely ignore me. They took and confirmed the initial order, they took the money, shipped 1/2 the goods and then ignored my request for their help with an issue that they created. To my mind that is theft. What would Marshall's call it if you only paid for 1/2 the goods you took from a Marshall's store. I won't buy from Marshall's again... not online and not from a Marshall's or TJX store. Why buy from a merchant who has proven that they just don't give a damn and has no compunction about taking your money and not fulfilling their end of the bargain.

I’ve been waiting 15 days for part of…

I’ve been waiting 15 days for part of my order and it still has not shipped. Customer was not helpful and I was told that the order cannot be canceled because part was already shipped. This is horrible customer service as I am expected to wait who knows how long for their ‘warehouse that is having some issues’ to ship my item! I will be filing a complaint with PayPal instead.

Dishonest practices

Ive ordered items in June, received them in June, and returned them in June. According to Marshalls promises I should receive the refund. But! They took forever to process the return and they claimed they arrived outside the 40 day window (it hasnt!). And instead of refund me, they've sent me a refund card with 60% of the cost of the refunded order!!! This is not what Ive signed up for. The customer service is useless.

Ordered 20 BEGONIA PLANTS..only 18…

Ordered 20 BEGONIA PLANTS..only 18 arrived!!( 2 MISSING),, the rest BADLY damaged. I have ended up with 12 plants that I managed to salvage. On contacting them...I was offered the Princely sum of 0.90pence!! I instructed them to KEEP the 0.90 pence, as their need seemed Greater than mine!!!
And to remove me from their mailing List.

Marshalls and all TJX Cos. SUCK!

Item took forever to receive, well over the stated time frame. I still have not yet received item, which is a gift that should have been given a while ago. I used to shop at this merchant at their sites, however the quality of the merchandise has declined. This was my first and last online experience with Marshalls and any TJX Companies! Customer service sucks and leadership is entirely unresponsive even when emailed directly to their personal email addresses. THERE IS NOTHING AT THIS POINT THEY CAN DO TO REDEEM THEMSELVES, this from a very prolific customer in the past, shopping and buying multiple times/week!!!

I have never bought from Marshalls…

I have never bought from Marshalls online I’ve bought from TJ Maxx, but not Marshalls and I desperately needed some things that I bought online for Memorial Day weekend for my guest room. One was a rattan stand and bedroom stuff new duvet sheets, all that stuff well I ordered it. I believe on the 15th and I kept saying where is my order Well on the 20th which is almost a week later they tell me oh well we do not have the stand you couldn’t have told me the next day why was it online? What did it let me buy you and then I’m like well where’s my duvet and other stuff Back-and-forth back-and-forth well they finally sent it out on the 23rd. Can you believe that I ordered it on the 15th. They’re sending it out the 23rd and it’s the 28th and I still don’t have it now I’m going to have to take time off of work. Use my gas and go return all the stuff because I’ve already bought everything I need for the room because memorial days gone. They are actually worse than Temu Alibaba AliExpress they’re worse than the Chinese and this is why they’re stuck is plummeting.

Marshall's totally screwed up my online order

Marshall's totally screwed up my online order. I ordered Calvin Klein jeans for men - they shipped some huge stretch pants for women. they are refunding my purchase price, but I have to drive 30 minutes each way to get to the FedEx drop off location / use the bar code provided in the email. This is the last time I will use Marshalls online.

I went to the Marshall’s in Crystal…

I went to the Marshall’s in Crystal City. The place was very clean and the lady at the checkout was very patient and kind. I will go back to that Marshall’s due to the quality they have and the prices.

Awesome service!❤️

Every single time that I walk into the Marshalls at lake pleasant parkway and happy valley road and Peoria Arizona I am met with kindness efficiency and lightness. Whoever's hiring there is doing a spectacular job! Walking out of another store with the complete opposite feeling and walking into your store you have no idea what that does to a customer's point of view!

Professional customer service

Visited Marshalls in Rego park on the 24 October, after waiting in a long Queue, I was attended to by a lovely young woman called Rahela she was most professional and polite, showed a genuine interest in attending to me, I didn’t feel like just another customer…. Thank you Rahela

Shopping at Marshall is sooo rewardiing!!!

Marshall’ s has a wide selection of linen clothing, lovely pastels, long and short-sleeved irems…not found anywhere else!
Employees VERY helpful! If you ask for help finding domething, any employee will stop what they are doing and walk you to where the item is located.
Markdons are regular; sale irems are real bargains.i love shopping at Marshalls. There is no store comparable!

Estuve en el marshalls 2660 west…

Estuve en el marshalls 2660 west Broward boulevard con mi hijo (5 años) y no me dejaron entrar con el al probador. La persona que me atendió alegó que por privacidad de las demás mujeres en los probadores el se tenía que quedar afuera. Es en serio? Un niño de 5 años no se queda solo sin su cuidador principal en ningún lugar. Nunca más volveré a esta tienda y regaré la voz.

Went to look at housewares

Went to look at housewares . Isle is narrow and a clerk was sitting in a rolling chair putting things on bottom shelf. I moved my cart because another shopper came with a cart. When I could no longer shopi waited for the clerk to finish what she was doing before I ask her to move because I couldn't back or go forward. Her boss stopped do u need to get thru and we smiled. The clerk moved her chair and snarked well, u could have asked or said excuse me! Totally uncalled for we were waiting patiently because we knew she saw us. The customer had us closed in behind us and it was a very short end where we were. Won't be back. Snarky, come on!!!!

Zero Stars

If I could give zero stars for Marshalls.com, I would. Unprofessional does not begin to describe their service reps and business practices. They sent me the wrong item- not even a close item. Mistakes happen, and although disappointed, I get it. What I don't get is the hoops I had to jump through to get the correct item without paying multiple times for return and shipping fees. I have made so many calls to them about one item. Cannot even get a supervisor. Was told I am on a call back list because said supervisors are all busy and I should expect a call between 24 and 48 hours. My advice? Don't ever shop with them online and file with the BBB if you do.

Marshalls is overcharging foreign credit cards by more than 5%

When you use a foreign credit card in Marshalls US you are presented with the choice to pay in USD or your local currency (in our case EUR). The sales person is pushing the customer to use the foreign currency. Don't do this: Today Marshalls used an exchange rate of 0.987 EUR per USD. When choosing the USD option, our credit card company only charges 0.935 EUR per USD (same day). So Marshalls has added 5% to your bill.
