I saw the name - Mark Firth.
I'd never heard of him,
but here is where my brain went.
(do not worry, I will complete the circle here)

Firth - Scottish - used to denote various coastal waters
in the United Kingdom, predominantly
within Scotland.
The difference between a firth and a river is that
a firth is a coastal inlet or estuary that is wider
than a typical river mouth, while a river is
a freshwater stream, but a firth is made up
of undiluted seawater.

Either way, they both flow.

Then I found out he is English.
My Grandfather was a Scotsman, my Grandmother
was an English woman - how could I not listen?

Mark's teachings "Bhuail e air a' chomharra."
(Pronounced: Voo-il eh air uh khaw-mar-uh) –
This directly translates to "It hit the Mark."
And his knowledge from all his experiences
kept flowing, like a Firth!

He has a calm personality, shares more than expected,
loves to answer questions, makes sure
we understand the lessons, and lets us know
that it is acceptable to take his basics
and make them our own while keeping
the principle of the thing.

I am very new to the "techie world", but the way
he answered questions and made suggestions
never made me feel "stupid".
His way of explaining things is simple terms
is very helpful.

Yes, Mark teaching us about LinkedIn,
but his training applies to all platforms!
I still have a ways to go, techie wise,
but I have taken my first steps toward
my future!

It is a little different than a purely structured course. There is a tremendous amount of class engagement. I prefer that, and the science of learning supports it. Mark knows his stuff, and over four days, with only a two-hour commitment a day, he unpacks what you need to know. I loved it. I made some friends, how often does that happen?
