A company that falsely advertises, and completely ignores any complaints.
I moved into Westpoint with the help of Manchester apartments recently in September 2023.
Everything was fine for a few months - however, the quality of our internet service took a nosedive come December 2023, when the provider was switched. What was once a blazing 200+mbps connection plummeted to less than 10mbps.
Even now - I currently have 6.8mbps when writing this review, a stark contrast to the promised speeds.
I've been collecting proof of this, and I logged a formal review in January regarding this, per their outlined process, expecting a resolution within 15 business days. However, it's now the end of March, and I'm still waiting for a response.
Even more frustratingly, the building continues to boast about its "Hyperfast Wi-Fi" across its website and advertising, falsely claiming to have a "dedicated 10GB network for seamless connectivity".
They are quite simply lying to their current residents and deceiving future ones.
So many residents are sick of this, and all that Manchester Apartments responds with is "you can buy your own private line". An absolutely unacceptable solution given the initial promises made regarding our internet service before signing our tenancy agreements.
If I were you, I'd stay well clear from Manchester Apartments. I'm extremely disappointed by their service and will look elsewhere in future.
I will informing the local council of these questionable, immoral and dishonest practices.
