I am absolutely appalled by the experience I had with Excellent Services.

I booked a deep clean because, although I clean my home regularly, I needed help with the more detailed and time-consuming areas. The booking process was fairly straightforward, and I specifically asked for our wooden laminate flooring to be cleaned and scrubbed of all dirt. I was charged an additional £30 for this, which I thought was reasonable.

When the cleaners arrived, I stayed out of the way in a nearby room with my dog. Midway through, they interrupted me to complain that my curtain fixings were too weak when wet, and asked for a screwdriver to reattach them. After suppling a screw driver they continued to tut and make snide remarks under their breaths but carried on.

After about four hours or so, they said they were finished. At first glance the house looked okay, but I quickly noticed the floors hadn’t been scrubbed at all. When I questioned them, they became defensive and hostile, loudly claiming I hadn’t booked that service—even though I had, and had paid extra for it. They insulted the condition of my home and said the job should have cost over £500, despite the £340 I had already paid.

One of the cleaners then called a supervisor to explain the situation. On the call, the supervisor listed what was included in the booking and initially said I had not paid for the floor scrubbing. But after reviewing it again mid-conversation, he suddenly said, “Oh yes, you did—I missed that.” No apology, just a casual acknowledgment after I had already been shouted at and accused of lying.

I also demonstrated the poor cleaning quality by running my finger along a skirting board, still dusty. Several areas had clearly been skipped. I was even criticised for the condition of my sofa, despite it being newly purchased in February. As a woman in her mid-20s, alone in my home with two men shouting at me and speaking in another language while my dog was locked away in a separate room, I felt incredibly uncomfortable and intimidated.

I had to send photos to the supervisor showing what was missed. I was eventually refunded the £30 for the floor scrubbing and an additional £20 for the distress I experienced. But instead of acknowledging their failure, they blamed me for not mentioning that I have a dog? Even though there was no where on the booking process that mentioned about pets.

I booked a deep clean with the expectation of a professional, high-standard job, especially given the good reviews the displays. Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite. I even had to go around cleaning up after your team had left as nothing had been put back in place, and my mop was found broken in two and left outside in the garden.

I would absolutely not recommend this company. They avoid responsibility, show no respect for your home or belongings, and made me feel incredibly unsafe in my own space.

We used these guys for our flat move and honestly I cannot recommend them highly enough. Moving house is always stressful but they made it a breeze. Two movers came who were extremely efficient, we booked three hours but we finished everything in an hour and a half. The movers were really polite and were so happy to help. They made our move simple and easy, book with them!

The team were very professional and kind when cleaning our kitchen. It was a bit of a mess before they arrived and they left it looking brand new! They were efficient and cleaned everything up afterwards. They went above and beyond and we are very grateful. Would recommend!

We used excellent services to help with removals, the two guys who turned up were 15 mins early than the booked time. Good start.
They immediately had a look around the house to see what items needed to be packed into the back of the vans and started loading. Any furniture such as wardrobes was dismantled.
They used protective covers over the fridge, sofa, wardrobes etc. And were loading wizards. There was not an inch of spare room in any of the vans!
They worked hard throughout a hot day, only stopped for a few sips of water throughout the whole day. Food and other drinks was offered to them to which they refused politely. I can only assume they had eaten lunch between the two properties because they went straight back to work as soon as we had the keys to the new house. All of the items were put in whichever room we specified, and they offered to rebuild the furniture but I sent them home after a truly hard day's graft.
Would I use them again? Yes in a heartbeat.

The 3 men who came were great, friendly and polite. I only booked it that day and they came about an hour and a half later! It was booked in for 2pm and they rang to ask if they could come a little earlier. They very swiftly lifted a heavy piece of furniture up 3 floors! Brilliant, totally saved the day for us!

Our cleaners had a big job with a lot of grime and plaster dust after some renovation work. They did very well and were lovely! I recommend.

Very good service - eventually. Placed an order online and paid online via credit card. Did not hear anything for well over 24 hours - not even an receipt for the payment (hence 4 stars). However, after I eventually phoned, the service could not be better. The van was very punctual and the 'Man' was very enthusiastic and helpful (5 stars +).
