Great itinerary; outstanding guides & accommodations; everything went according to plan with no glitches. The app with our itinerary details & train tickets, etc., worked great.
Let me add that Annie (who created our itinerary and was our point of contact) was a great listener, and very responsive to any changes or additional requests we made prior to and during the trip.

From my first conversation with Annie at Magnetic North Travel till our final send off I felt heard. She really understood the significance of this trip for us and completely went to the next level to make my dreams come true! She literally read my mind as to meet my every request and every expectation!
Our trip was essentially flawless from the amazing accommodations , excursions and special activities that we enjoyed! Everyday we reviewed our day with amazement as how much it was exactly what we would had wanted to do but didnt know how would have ever put it together ourselves. One of my favorite moments was going to our guides home in Sweden to make cinnamon rolls with her. It was an over and beyond experience where we shared our heritage, our baking experiences and bits of our lives. A special time indeed! Lofoten was amazing. All excursions were planned well, with great sights. Train journeys were very good. We had great weather overall. The magnetic north app was good and kept us well updated. Sophie, our agent remained closely involved with all the planning and was great to work with. Some miscommunication issues with Ulriken cable car tickets not working and different time for car transfer but to be refunded. Overall, wonderful, highly recommend and will use again for travels!

Listened to our holiday wishes and delivered an excellent itinerary. Good hotel recommendations. Very helpful App with links to lots of useful information. Great customer support both before and during the trip.

We loved our Norway vacation! The lodging and excursions along with unforgettable scenery and delicious food all left a very positive impression on us. We would love to return someday and explore more of the beautiful county.

This was a great adventure. Yasmin was supportive and understanding not only in the preparation of the holiday but during it, ensuring we focused our time enjoying Arctic Norway.

We had a great trip. Sophie really understood what we wanted and planned a great trip. . The hotels were all very nice and well located. We were glad that we had upgraded our rooms.
The planned tours went well. We especially enjoyed our time with Carolyn in Stockholm.
The App worked well and we had not trouble getting our tickets.
The highlight was our stay at 292 in Aurland. We ended up changing the hike/picnic to a car ride up into the mountains. Views were amazing and our guide could not have been nicer. We ended up hiking to the waterfall on our own.
We were pretty put off by Flam. Really just a tourist site. We ended up staying at 292 until our ferry out. We borrowed bicycles and rode into Aurland in the morning. 292 employees were very accommodating in driving us to Flam later.
All in all a wonderful trip. We would highly recommend.

There were numerous quick responses from wonderful Annie F. regarding our trip. Every step of the way was well planned with reliable, knowledgeable tour guides. Organized tickets for trains, planes, ferries and canal boats were easily found in the MN app. Every driver was on time and courteous. Difficult reservations at restaurants and museums were very much appreciated, including lunch at Geranium in Copenhagen and Anne Frank’s House in Amsterdam. The fiord stay at Aurland 29 was beyond our expectations!
We appreciate all the hard work and support Annie gave us. We are anxiously awaiting a new travel experience.

Magnetic North Travel was very helpful in planning out our trip to Iceland. When we had trouble with our navigation system, they were available to help us through the problem. They were great in handling any last minute issues we had while on our trip. It is overwhelming with so many sites to visit to plan this trip. So to have their advice in planning was very helpful.

Magnetic North planned an incredible trip for my wife and me to Copenhagen, Aurland (fjords in Norway), and Bergen. On our last dinner of the trip, we both said we would not have changed a single thing about our itinerary - it was perfect. Laura did a fantastic job of listening to what we like/don't like, and struck a perfect balance between planned activities, time for exploration, and travel time in between locations. Highly recommend!

Laura did a great job planning our trip. The locations of the hotels in the cities and the accommodations in Aurland (and Balestrand) were all great! I would highly recommend.

We took a two week vacation to Finland and Norway, and we were able to experience so much without ever feeling rushed. It was a perfect mix of visiting cities as well as the countryside. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable on all of our excursions and we learned so much about the history of the area as well as the culture. This was my first experience booking a trip with Magnetic North travel and I would not hesitate to plan another trip with them.

Our goal was to see the Northern Lights and we were lucky enough to see them 4 out of the 5 nights we had in Whitehorse!
Our first 2 nights we stayed at the Best Western which was adequate.
The highlight of our trip were the last 3 days we stayed at the Northern Lights Resort & Spa. All of the staff (Richard, Patrick, Uli, James) and the owners Tobi and Lynn were terrific! Very knowledgable about the area, history, and photographing the N. Lights.
Meals were great, the sauna - so relaxing, and nice hiking trails around the property. We stayed in the Glass Chalets (beautiful rooms with floor to ceiling windows so you can see the N.Lights from the comfort of your room).
Be sure to take their Yukon Wildlife Preserve & Hot Springs Tour ( 3 pools of different temperatures, also saunas and steam rooms).
Had one little hiccup with our Winter Gear Rental which were not at the Best Westernon our first night in Whitehorse(we stayed first 2 nights here). Miscommunication between our travel company and whoever was supposed to supply the winter gear package, I'm guessing. But Tobi and Lynn stepped up and brought their Winter Gear Kits to the hotel for us to use on our 2nd night.
All in all a great adventure!

The owners, Lin & Toby and the other staff were on the spot, knowledgeful and ready to make this a wonderful experience. They keep the group (max 16 guest) small. We had a great opportunity to connect with the other guests. Food, guest rooms,activities and service were platinum levels. I would highly recommend this resort to my friends.

This was an amazing trip for us and Magnetic North Travel was super helpful and answered all my questions. Once our trip began we always had a driver transfer on time and each activity went just as described. Sophie with magnetic North was quick to answer my emails and when I asked for more adventures she would bring me several ideas to choose from. We are a family of 8 and that can be a lot of people to make happy, but this trip was perfect and everyone made memories to last a lifetime.

Annie organized a wonderful trip for us. The lodging, activities and other recommendations were spot on! One of our activities was cancelled due to weather and she quickly rebooked us. Magnetic North provided exceptional customer service and had thorough knowledge to help us decide on the itinerary. Highly recommend this company.

Our Norway experience was better than we could have imagined. We chose to visit Norway as a way to complete our "bucket list" goal of experiencing the Northern Lights (Aurora). Magnetic North helped us experience not only the Aurora, but also the unique and impressive Norwegian culture and landscape. Our accommodations were exceptional in all three of the regions that we visited. We were most impressed with the Rorbu cabins in Svolvaer in the Lofoten islands. The authentic red cabin right on the water was charming and peaceful; a perfect blend of historic and modern. All of our transportation was pre-planned, safe, and dependable. We asked Annie at Magnetic North to make dinner reservations for us in each region that we visited. She made excellent recommendations and the restaurants were welcoming with delicious dining options. The Magnetic North travel app is one of the best that I've ever seen. Comprehensive with detailed, daily itineraries, weather, travel documents, maps, and more. The Magnetic North team was responsive to all of our communications and highly accommodating. Norway is a beautiful country full of friendly and adventurous people! Additional highlights of the trip include dog sledding in the beautiful Reisa National Park, sea kayaking through the fjords of Lofoten Islands, the Arctic Panorama Lodge on Uloya Island (which hosts royalty apparently!), an overnight cruise through the Arctic Circle, and of course the Aurora lights. All of this was expertly prepared by the Magnetic North team. We could not be happier with this trip!
