My autistic granddaughter has recently joined. The people were so friendly and supportive of her, they helped her to settle in and take her own time to do so she is loving it.

Much more than a martial arts club, Sensi Ken takes time to teach his students respect and encourages them to take part in community activities and raise money for charities.

This is the second generation of our family to train at Maghull Kickboxing, and the experience has been just as fantastic as the first time around. The coaches are absolutely brilliant with children — they don’t just teach martial arts, but also help build confidence, discipline, CPR, and many other life skills that are essential for raising confident and capable young people.

It’s clear the team genuinely cares about each student’s growth, both on and off the mats. The supportive, encouraging environment makes all the difference, and I can’t speak highly enough of the way they guide and inspire kids to bring out their very best.

I would recommend these classes to all children without hesitation — Maghull Kickboxing is far more than a martial arts school; it’s a place where young people learn lessons for life.

This is so much more than a kickboxing class, the kids learn all different life skills how to stay safe, be kind to others and have confidence. My little girl has been going a few weeks now and her confidence has grown every week. Would absolutely recommend to parents to bring there kids along and try something new

I attended with my 6 year old daughter for the first time and she loved it! She loves that she will learn new skills to help her stay safe and loves learning about the parts of the body. She said everyone there is very nice and that they are all very good at teaching. She’s a shy kid so we wanted her to build confidence and they made her feel welcome from the start. She hasn’t stopped showing us what she learned in her first lesson!

I attended little ninjas today for the first time with my six year old child who wanted to try something new and extend his peer group.
What a wonderful experience. Such a pleasure to watch experienced, approachable, and passionate knowledgable instructors.
Would 100% recommend to any parent looking for a fun and safe place to explore their child’s interest and peer groups,

More than just about teaching martial arts, Ken teaches about morals, self confidence and other life lessons. The teaching is fun and enjoyable for the kids - I would highly recommend

Amazing instructor not just teaching the kids self defense, but teachers them to have morals and respect for others. Ken is the backbone of the community.

Went to ken many years ago to learn kickboxing, and I can happily say that not only did he teach me the marshall art at a very high level but also in other aspects like building my confidence in general. He is a outstanding mentor and a pillar of the community and I can't think of a better Sensei.

Fantastic club. I started over 15 years ago, and the lessons learnt within the class I have taken with me in to my later life.

I now take my nephew to little ninjas and can see him grow in confidence, manners, and of course kickboxing week on week!

My daughter attended kens classes for a good few years and from about the age of 4. It put her in such good stead for life really. She learnt all the stuff you would expect from a kickboxing class, how to protect yourelf, disarm somebody and look after yourself ect but ken made it fun and all the kids loved it. It also enhanced her manners, respect and confidence. She always looked up to the older kids, who always led by example, helping Ken and wanted to help more.

What an incredible experience for those who want to participate in sport. I took my then 6/7 years old to Maghull Kickboxing after they were mesmerised by a demonstration locally. Initially apprehensive, they soon were immersed into the fabulous culture that Ken established. He embraced all that was natural with kids, ensuring that they went through sessions with a smile on their face and just being the best version of themselves. A family run group with a family ethos, always reinforcing politeness and good manners, encouraging people to improve. This experience helped set up my children for future and I can not recommend Ken & the group highly enough.

Joined Maghull Kickboxing 20 years ago when I was getting picked on literally everyday at school. Within weeks, confidence was boosted. I felt fitter and stronger as well. Had no more run ins with bullies when they got wind of me training with Sensei Ken. Changed my life for the better. I now live in Tampa, FL with my wife and 2 kids, living the American Dream! Without Maghull Kickboxing Club I can’t image where I would have ended up. Sensei Ken and I have kept in touch over the years. He’s the best mentor and friend a guy could ask for. This place will change your life!

Took my little boy for the first time this morning to the little ninjas class - Ken was great with him as he was a little apprehensive, he had so much time for the kids and my little boy loved it! Thank you!!

Started off by taking my daughter, then my second daughter and then I got involved myself, this is the most family centered class I have ever been too, Ken really looks out for everybody who attends and teaches the children life skills aswell as kickboxing! Even when I have had periods not being able to attend I've stayed in contact with Ken who actually inspired me to start my own sports business last year, can't wait to be back at in the coming months!

Took my granddaughter to little Ninjas. Absolutely loves the training which is fantastic for her development and confidence. Sensei Ken is very knowledgeable fully explains and demonstrates everything clearly with the help of his experienced students. Sensei Ken ensures all the class has a great time and is a true inspiration.

We took our daughter Emily, when we were new to the area, to gain her confidence and learn how to defend herself. 4 years later, she has done so well and it's all thanks to Ken. He is kind, knowledgable and lets the kids have fun while they learn. Can't recommend enough.
