They charge you for everything, don’t communicate at all
We had cold water in deep winter, it got changed after 1month …
They came into our rooms without letting us know
They invent neighbors that complain to fine you and get more money from you
I’d bet that most of the reviews made under this new name are fake
Please, enjoy your Erasmus, enjoy Madrid and stay away from them

I stayed here from September to June and overall I had a good experience. The location is really good and very convenient for students.

Living with people from different countries was nice and I met some great people during the year. There was always someone around, which can be good if you like a social environment.

The check-in process was easy and everything was explained clearly when I arrived. The check-out was also simple and fast, which I appreciated.

The rooms are quite small and the flat has a lot of people living in it, so sometimes it can feel a bit crowded. Also, the rooms are quite basic for the price of the rent, but they have everything necessary for student life.

In general, I enjoyed my stay and I appreciate the experience. Thank you MadridRoom for helping me have a comfortable year in Madrid!

La mia esperienza con Madridroom è stata davvero eccellente. Fin dal primo momento ho trovato uno staff estremamente gentile, professionale e sempre disponibile. Durante tutto il periodo di permanenza si sono dimostrati molto rapidi nel rispondere a qualsiasi richiesta e nel risolvere tempestivamente ogni piccolo problema all’interno della casa.
Grazie alla loro serietà e gentilezza, il mio soggiorno è stato molto piacevole e senza preoccupazioni. Consiglio assolutamente Madridroom a chi cerca una stanza a Madrid e desidera affidarsi a un team competente, affidabile e sempre presente quando serve.

Una estancia increíble, estuve un año y medio y la verdad madrid room en todos los sentidos una buena agencia para solicitar habitaciones, en todo momento estaban pendientes sobre si tuviera un problema en mi habitación y sobre el piso yo me voy por temas laborales pero si no yo continuaría estancia con ellos muchas gracias Madrid Rooms

They were very unreliable.
The response time was way to long and the information changed all the time.
In the private chat, they changed the prices for the accommodation multiple times in just a few days.
After already having spoken about my preferred duration, they failed to mention additional costs that I would have to pay.
Unreasonably expensive for small rooms in apartments with way to many people.
Didn’t book it! Seems fishy and would avoid!

Desde el primer momento, Madridroom me dio mucha confianza. La comunicación con la agencia siempre fue clara y rápida, lo que me hizo sentir acompañado en todo el proceso. El check-in fue súper sencillo y el check-out igual de rápido, sin complicaciones.

Cada vez que surgía alguna duda o necesitaba ayuda con algo, la agencia respondía enseguida y siempre con buena actitud. El servicio al cliente fue excelente durante toda mi estancia. Incluso si había alguna diferencia entre compañeros de piso, ellos intervenían rápido y de forma muy profesional para resolverlo.

También quiero destacar al equipo de limpieza, que además de hacer bien su trabajo, siempre fueron muy amables y respetuosos con todos en el piso. En general, fue una experiencia muy cómoda y tranquila.

Estuve con Madridroom durante unos meses y la experiencia fue muy buena. Me encantó lo fácil que fue encontrar las habitaciones a través de Idealista. Estaba buscando dos habitaciones, una para mi hermano y otra para mí, y tuve varias opciones para elegir. Las que escogimos estaban ubicadas en Argüelles, y todo el proceso con la agencia fue muy sencillo.
También me gustó mucho la plataforma de pago online, ya que me permitió pagar con cualquiera de mis tarjetas sin ningún problema.
A pesar de compartir piso con varias personas, la limpieza semanal ayudó bastante a mantener el orden y la buena convivencia en el departamento.

I had an amazing experience with Madridroom during my time studying for a master's degree in Madrid. Over the course of my stay, I lived in three different apartments, and each one offered something special—clean, well-equipped, and always in a great location. As a student new to the city, it made all the difference to have reliable housing and responsive hosts. The Madridroom team was consistently kind, supportive, and made every transition between apartments seamless. I truly felt cared for and safe, which helped me focus on my studies and enjoy life in Madrid to the fullest. WATCH OUT FOR THEM - RENTING WITH THEM IS A MISTAKE

They scam and intimidate every tenant (I know people that rent with them in different buildings) using fees and fines. If you don't pay whatever they want you to pay they threaten to kick you out end of the week. They threaten with things that are straight up against the law.

They have told me several times that our house makes too much noise, then they fine all tenants of the house 80 up to 200 euros.

They change their company name every so often (previous name is ErasmusFlat, check their TrustPilot) to create a clean slate again and again after screwing over too many students.

I talked to local tenant unions and landlords like MadridRoom they target international students since our law insurance almost never covers rental in a foreign country.

Please be aware. Put in a little more effort and you will find cheaper, fairer housing with a good location and you won't have migraines for 6 months because of MadridRoom's harassments.

I stayed 6 months in a room with them and the overall experience was very very bad. They are completely unprofessional. They try every way to make you pay a lot of fines even if you're respecting all the rules.
They do not reply to tickets or reply after weeks. Bad cleaning service once a week and it is also expensive. Rooms are very small and old. I am not even sure their contracts are legal. They entered my room when I wasn't home and moved my stuff around, to show the room to other people (I didn't have even a day of forewarning). Kitchen tools are shit, hot water in the kitchen is always broken. They just try to make you pay as many fines as possible.
After a few months all my flatmates already wanted to change accommodation. A complete waste of money. Many people never got their deposit back.

Be careful don’t rent from them
I had a bad experience with madridrooms agency. First they didn’t reply to my calls then my friend who is french called and they answered right away from then i felt something isn’t right. Anyways we spoke to them and we scheduled to see one room i went there and decided to rent the room they said u can book through their website i did and then she said in case they cancel they will refund the money rightaway. And for no reason they cancelled my booking without any explanation and the refund came to my bank after four days so i couldn’t even book another place in time because of them. Definitely wasted my time for nothing i wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.
And by the way they will racially profile you and thats one of the reason to cancel your booking for them.

It was an overall nice experience. I got to enjoy Madrid in a safe and clean house, in the center of the city. The staff was helpful, they guided me on how move in Madrid and avoid unwanted expenses. I got my deposit back on time as well.

El antiguo nombre de la empresa es Erasmusflat, y si lo buscas, verás que el 86% de la gente lo ha valorado muy mal.

Yo tuve una experiencia horrible, igual que el resto de inquilinos, te tratan muy mal, piensan que los que pagan les están haciendo un favor al permitirte vivir allí, ofenden, insultan, mienten. Calimar es el peor de todos. Después de ir a vivir allí, me contaron un montón de cosas, entre ellas que entran en las habitaciones sin autorización, dicen que está en el contrato, pero si haces una búsqueda rápida en Google puedes ver que según la ley española, no puedes entrar cuando quieras, te avisan de la entrada con menos de 24 horas de antelación, y si tienes una cita, les da igual, entrarán igual. El pago de la limpieza de las zonas comunes es parte del alquiler y deja mucho que desear, había cosas en la cocina que no teníamos ni idea del tiempo que llevaban allí, está todo muy podrido, han cambiado el nombre, han quitado las formas de que los inquilinos los valoren como las reseñas de Google, han desactivado los comentarios de Instagram y tiktok allí porque saben que habría muchas quejas y sería cuestión de tiempo que pasara lo mismo cuando usaban el nombre Erasmusflat, pero no tiene sentido hacer estos cambios y seguir teniendo el mismo pésimo servicio y pésima calidad de servicio. Los precios de las habitaciones son caros y no merecen la pena, actúan de mala fe en todos los sentidos posibles, si te llaman, te aconsejo que utilices apps para grabar la llamada, porque son de los que mienten sobre cualquier tipo de acuerdo que se haya hecho, y todo lo cobran extra, documentos como el empadronamiento que es un derecho te lo cobran, si tienes algún problema, no hacen nada, o tardan mucho en resolverlo, lo peor que he hecho en mi vida es haber elegido esta empresa, hay opciones mucho mejores como Spotahome, que tiene más opciones y su servicio es excepcional. Madridroom y sus dueños son de lo peor que hay, no lo recomiendo, huyan de esta trampa, incluso sería recomendable que esta empresa dejara de existir.

De verdad os recomiendo que si os vais a arriesgar a quedaros en este sitio, documentéis absolutamente todo, no dejéis de documentar nada, son unos estafadores y unos ladrones, todo lo que puedan hacer para joderos, lo harán sin ningún escrúpulo, pero yo recomendaría encarecidamente huir de este lugar, literalmente nadie que conocí lo recomendaría.
