I purchased two necklaces from this company after a miscarriage, hoping for something meaningful to remember my son. I spent a lot of time researching and paid over $200, checking my mail daily in anticipation. After more than a week, I was notified that half of my order was out of stock and would not be restocked. It then took several more days to resolve and receive a refund.

While I did get my money back, the long wait, poor communication, and disappointment added unnecessary heartache during an already painful time. I was frustrated that I couldn’t receive the pieces I had carefully chosen and paid for.

No option for returns, they say you can email them but your request will be denied.

When I first received my chain with charms, I noticed a strong smell of rust. Within 2 weeks my gold plated charms began to tarnish. When you initially get they look cute, but for them to last about 2 weeks?? I do not recommended.

My married daughter has bought from them in the past and had no problems with allergy to ears. So she asked for earrings for Christmas. I bought a pair and she opened a week later. They made her ears itch. She was going to return but Pres. Carter died and PO closed. She left next day for an extended trip to England. Got back and tried to return earrings and couldn’t get info from site to return. After explaining situation in email form cause you can’t speak to anyone, got an email saying past 30 days of purchase and can’t return or exchange. So not all their jewelry is as stated. It’s hit or miss if will cause allergies and rashes! They will not work with you on exchanges or returns after 30 days of purchase no matter what. Asked in email to have someone call me and got no response. Not a company we trust anymore. Be ware waste of money in our opinion. Just lost two customers.

Fake jewelry

The negative reviews and feedback are accurate. I suspect the company has fake reviews, because for the price, this jewelry is no better than cheap pieces you'd find on Amazon. I received my necklace as a gift, and the clasp tarnished within months. I didn't swim or expose it to the ocean. Eventually, I reached out to customer service as the tarnishing worsened, and they blamed it on improper care. There wasn’t improper care btw. Yet, they claim their pieces are of high quality, stating, “This process ensures a durable piece that resists tarnish and chipping. Enjoy our pieces longevity” That’s clearly not the case. For over $60, this necklace should not be tarnish, let alone, so quickly. This company’s quality does not match its price.

I bought several necklaces. The tarnish wore off the first week of wearing them. I could not believe how poor the quality was. When I sent an email to Customer service about the issue I was completely ghosted.

This company disgusts me. I had issues with an order a few months ago and the time it took to arrive the employee had the nerve to lie and say it took so long because it was custom made and she knew it wasn't and their website stated it was ready to ship. I took one last shot at order in hopes it wod be different. They state maximum 5 days for order to ship and 8 days max to receive item. I have not received anything. They need to get their crap figured out.

I hate this company so much I can't even put it into words.

My wife loves their pieces, so I have had the unfortunate experience of multiple orders with them.

First time they asked for a phone number and email for a coupon code, which I provided. I never got a code.

Second time I gave them my email and phone number for order details only and they started bombarding me with marketing texts and emails despite me never consenting to this.

My second order I paid $15 for expedited shipping and the shipping took FIFTEEN DAYS!!! 15 f8cking days!!! And that was expedited!!!

Finally, the necklace chain broke and I reached out for a replacement. Not only is the warranty only 6 months for a $80 necklace, but the replacement chain costs $40.

This chain is so thin and cheap I wouldn't be surprised if it came from one if those kids necklace gum ball machine capsules you find at a strip mall.

And here they are, asking me for $40 for it.

Usually when you pay such a high price for such garbage items you at least get good service, but not here.

I hate dealing with this company. Every time I order from them it's an awful experience. Post order support is awful. The quality is awful. The prices are awful.

It's so slow to ship I 100% believe it's just dropshipped.

Product advertised as "Opal Stone" but is just irridescent painted plastic. I want a refund! but no links work!

This is a complete scam. I saw their ad on Instagram. It was very convincing written as a Canadian small business owner, selling hand made jewelry. ‘Mary’ said she was closing her business, and was a having a sale to sell off the remaining pieces. The jewelry was purported to be made of real gold. It looked very legit. Foolishly, I made a purchase, which finally arrived. It’s all fake, poor quality and from China. Nothing Canadian about it.

Like everyone else on here, I unfortunately have learned the hard way that I bought Dollarstore junk from China under the pretense of supporting a Canadian jewelry designer. Gemstones are painted, two of the rings aren't even the same as pictures, and gold-plated is gumball machine s__t. Buyers beware. Oh, and the website is no longer working. So much for the 30 days to return. So sad that a_holes get away with this crap.

I ordered earrings from what I thought were from a North American company saying they were closing their business and having a sale. I ordered earrings that were gold toned multi coloured gem stone chandelier style. I got silver toned earrings with small plastic beads in a dream catcher style.
ABSOLUTELY not what I ordered. I’m going to keep them. I will wear them BUT ! Seriously nothing even close to what I thought I was getting. This is what they do - hope customers just keep their products and they get away with it. Delivery was quick and they did ship from China so they are certainly not made by some woman named Mary who owns a jewelry business in North America selling off her stock and closing her business. BS 💯 percent. I’m glad I didn’t get sucked in to buying more! Bottom line - don’t bother! This also happened to me with an Amazon pair of earrings I ordered that came from China. Not the same as the picture at all. I think I have learned my lesson.

I have been seeing this jewelry with a different brand all in FB.
That was a red flag.
I love some of their pieces and I remember them very well but saw them, the exact pieces but with different brands.
Be careful!
Do not buy immediately, you will see that “they” will try to target you again and again.
This happens with the complicity of FB?

Mary's Gems .. First, they took forever to get. They are made in China and not Canada. No notification of delivery either.
But the product is cheap. These are so small they are for a doll. Really not able to get them on. I really hope I can get a refund. I will never order from Mary's Gems again. Very disappointing

Complete junk said made in Canada 925 silver ... this was shipped from China and is dollar store quality complete junk and in silver .. to be clear this was " Mary's gems" closing sale after 20 years of making jewelry... so pissed I was sucked in for 100$

Horrible customer service and false advertising! Ordered two items on May 26th and the 28th. It stated that the items would be here within 3-6 business days. I contacted company on June 3rd to determine why they had not shipped yet. Supposedly because they are a "made by order" company. Not even close to the truth. Items are standard hoop earrings. Absolutely nothing that had to be custom made. When I contacted them on June 3rd, then suddenly my items were shipped the next day. Received the earrings on June 10th after both relative's birthdays were over. All customer service could do was make excuses and try to blame it on the delivery service. Absolute sham!!!!!

I ordered Dec. 7th for a Xmas gift. After many failed attempts to inquire about my gift, I finally got a response that I will get it Dec. 30th! I told them to cancel it. They said if it has already been stamped, I can’t cancel it. What a poor excuse for a company. Absolutely NO customer service. Don’t buy from them.

The live in hoops broke and bent within two weeks. I’ve been emailing them back and forth and its gone nowhere. Their customer service and products are a joke.
