Great customer service
Sent in my 2015 Macbook Pro to have a new screen fitted after my cat decided to chew and break the corner of the screen. Was really impressed with how quickly the repair was carried out and with how they went out of their way to source parts given it's an older laptop. Thanks again to Tony for all your help :)

I called and spoke to Tony at MacKing about my MacBook which was failing to turn on. Another shop had told me over the phone it was likely the logic board and the cost would be very high as it’s a 2021.
I took it into MacKing at their Thame site and - much to my embarrassment - it was my charger at fault. LOL!!
Long story short I have a working machine and I wasn’t even charged a diagnosis fee. They sold me a used working charger. Happy days!

Replacement screen brought my iMac back…
Replacement screen brought my iMac back to life.
Removal men damaged my 2019 iMac, leaving several large chips on the display which played with my ocd
I called macking who had a grade a screen listed. They offered to fit the screen for £60 on top of the price of the screen so I went with that option and now it’s as good as new
Total cost was under £300, I don’t like the new 24” iMacs so it saved me buying something new.

I needed to buy an ipad urgently for a passage we were planning with our boat. I had loads of questions as this was the first time I had used an ipad to download navigation apps and needed something we could use offshore.
Alex was super helpful and responsive to all my questions and had the right ipad in the post to me the same day I put in the order.
This is the third piece of equipment I have bought from MacKing, having bought my previous two Macbooks from them.

During purchase, was concerned that the seller replied that for their product to be handed over, they first required the faulty part. Due to skepticism of the company to fulfill their end and lack of good reviews, requested a refund. However, was denied as refunds couldn't be given due to their policy. Negotiated so that they can hand over their product, but any problems once received would not be covered by any warranty. At that point the worst cases was 1) lose money, no product or 2) lose money, faulty product.
Thankfully the arrived product SEEMS TO work. But personally, their policy and manner of reply during negotiation was questionable.

Never deal with company again, they are scammers and liars.
I had a terrible experience with macking.co.uk and would strongly advise avoiding this company at all costs. I purchased a 16-inch MacBook Pro with an i9 processor, but they sent me an i7 instead. To make matters worse, the MacBook came with an iCloud account already on it.
I decided to return the item, using the return service provided by the company, and packed it in the same way I received it. However, macking.co.uk claimed that the item arrived damaged. When I called to confront them and asked for proof of the damage, they refused to provide any photos or evidence. I pointed out that if there was any damage, it should be covered by the delivery company since they handled the return, but the company wouldn't listen.
They only refunded half of what I paid, forcing me to file a County Court Judgement (CCJ) and take them to small claims court to recover the rest of my money. The whole process was stressful and time-consuming.
The service from macking.co.uk was appalling, and the staff were rude and unhelpful. They are dishonest and do not take responsibility for their mistakes. If you buy anything from them, be very careful. I cannot recommend them, and I would never purchase from them again. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

These people ripped me off.
I bought a replacement Macbook Pro 2018 logic board. Supposed to be service exchange. The one I received back had my customers login details. I believe they just returned my old board which was probably not faulty, but the screen was. (I have changed the screen since)
First they said their engineer noticed I left the HDD in and put it back on my board. Macbooks have not had removeable HDDs since 2015. Then they said it's possible that the SSD was not wiped before being booked into stock, and that is a user name relating to a third party. The exact same name as my customer?!?! I don't think so.
Then they insulted me a few times.
After realising they were blatantly making stuff up as they went along I gave up, knowing I wouldn't get anywhere as I couldn't prove this was the old board. Why would I have security marked the board first? I had no reason to suspect them.
It cost me £220 to get my own board back. It cost them maybe £10 postage to send it back.
Give these guys a miss

You’ve taken 9 months to reply! That doesn’t inspire confidence and fits with my previous lacklustre interactions with your company.
Give these guys a miss. I bought a renewed iPad from them. The iPad should have been over 80% battery health. It wouldn’t hold a charge for more than a few minutes. I took it to an Apple store for a check. The battery health was 13%! MacKing (part of MacColl Media) must have known this. The only conclusion is that they are untrustworthy.

I bought a refurbished MacBook Pro…
I bought a refurbished MacBook Pro 16-inch M1 Max 10 Core / 32 Core GPU / 64GB RAM 4TB for £2750 directly on their website and the Macbook arrived in perfect condition as completely brand new.
I am really impressed with it as the cheapest I could find this laptop with the same specs was £4100.
I have looked today and still, the cheapest I could find this laptop with the same specs on eBay is £3,499.00!
