As per our many communications we apologise that you are not happy with your situation. We despatched your consignment in a timely fashion on a Standard Service because a Next Day Service was not paid for. Ideally Parcelforce would have delivered it Next Day and when they did not, it was unfortunate that you were not home to receive it on day two. On day four, when delivery was attempted, you refused it. We believe we managed this situation in a professional and timely manner to resolve this to suit you best considering the options from Parcelforce and the availability of yourself.
Avoid – Left Without the Product or My Money
My experience with Machinery4wood has been extremely disappointing.
I purchased a machine that arrived defective. I followed all of the company's return instructions exactly as provided, using the courier and return process they arranged.
After returning the item, I was informed that UPS had intercepted the parcel. Instead of resolving the issue, Machinery4wood told me they were not responsible and effectively directed me to the courier. However, my contract is with Machinery4wood, not UPS, and the courier was chosen by them.
As a result, I have been left without the product and without a refund, despite complying with every instruction given to me. I have repeatedly tried to resolve the matter amicably, but the company has refused to take responsibility for the failed return process.
This situation has caused significant stress, inconvenience, and financial loss. The money tied up in this purchase was intended to help fund my daughter's university expenses, yet months later I am still waiting for a proper resolution.
I have now had no option but to pursue the matter through my payment provider and consider further legal action.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Machinery4wood. I would advise other customers to think carefully before purchasing, particularly if you ever need to rely on their returns process or after-sales support.

We are sorry that you felt you needed to leave this review which we find does not tell the full story. We believe we have responded efficiently, professionally and fairly at all times.
Initially you contacted us claiming your order had not been delivered. The drivers recollection of who took receipt of the order was very clear and distinctive - which we advised you of. We did not hear from you for a further week when you then came back and confirmed you had received it.
Having received the order you told us that you no longer wanted to keep it and wished to return it. You told us that you had purchased the same item for a store local to you. We gave you instructions on how to do this but you were not satisfied that you were liable for the cost of the return.
Despite your claim to have made a second purchase, two days later you told us that you had used the machine but considered it to be faulty. We immediately made contact with the manufacturer responsible for the warranty who supplied you with a returns label so that the machine could be returned, at their expense, for inspection. We reassured you that if there was a fault a replacement or refund would be issued.
Unfortunately the proof of drop off you provided for UPS could not be verified by UPS and we have not been able to get any response from the shop you say you left it at. When UPS asked for a copy of the original proof of drop of it was unfortunate that your system "automatically removes older messages periodically to manage storage".
We can only refund items which we receive back and as yet, this tool has not been received back. UPS have conducted an investigation and told us "The security team have advised that the shipment was intercepted as a fraudulent return's shipment".
It may be that you need to speak with the drop off shop that you left this item with to see if they can shed any light on the situation.
We have spent a considerable amount of time and effort in trying to resolve this situation but can only do so much when a tool is not returned.
Fist class service, I highly recommend this company for your woodwork needs.
I was kept informed of my order status and it was delivered as advised. This company went out of there way so I could keep my machine running.

Terrible service
Terrible service, we were told by the women who served us in store we could return the item within 2 weeks if incorrect as we needed to double check the size. We went to return the item all in its original packaging unopened and were told that was for online orders only, not in person and we could only have an exchange. When we asked for a credit note that was also refused, so when I asked how long do I have to exchange (baring in mind we live 20 miles away) we were told "I dont know, ummmm you cant leave it any longer, so lets say 7 days?" Completely made up their returns policy on the spot after misleading us. Just be 100% clear on what you are buying from this company as the service is awful and are unlikely to accommodate a return.
