Had been looking at a few places at various cars when i called in here. Met manager Chris and as no salesman available he arranged a test drive while waiting. On return met salesman Neil Morris who explained difference between models and showed us available cars. Sorted out a deal and nothing was too much trouble , minor issues found were sorted by Neil as promised. All in all a great experience.

A fantastic and very efficient service. Mal was amazing!

We come in today to sort out a new car with Graham, he was fantastic with us talking is through everything and explaining the contract ect, showroom was very clean and quite spacious cars inside were immaculate inside and out and all the staff we spoke to were brilliant

I recently visited Group A53 car dealership with my mum, and we had a fantastic experience thanks to Graham. From the moment we arrived, he was welcoming, friendly, and incredibly professional.

Graham took the time to really listen to what I was looking for, answered all of my questions clearly, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. His knowledge and honesty made the whole process feel easy and stress-free. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was sorted, and I’m so pleased that he was able to help me order my new car.

The level of customer service we received was exceptional, and it made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. I would highly recommend both Graham and Group A53 to anyone looking for a new car.

This is the worst garage in the north west! Over the past 3 years my van has been on there non stop. The first time for over 9 months. I’ve had constant issues since, the latest being the past month with it being in there for over 3 weeks for a engine fault, now now less than 24hrs of having back the engine light is back on. This is the poorest service I have ever had with a motor vehicle.

Made our purchase 3 weeks ago and could not be happier. The service from the moment we walked in was excellent, so much so that we walked out of other dealerships because they just didn’t compare. Dave Rogers found the exact car we were looking for, he was knowledgeable and friendly, and kept us updated during a very short process. A prime example of buying from here purely because of the salesman, as we would have a found a car elsewhere had we wanted to. Our experience at Group M53 Ford was absolutely outstanding in every way. While this may be a lengthy review, the company deserves regal recognition; I am well aware that many people dread the "hard sell," but this team provides the exact opposite—a professional, welcoming, and seamless experience.

Cameron was exceptional from start to finish. He was incredibly professional and knowledgeable, helping us navigate the choices to find the perfect car. He immediately recognised the vehicle was for my wife and ensured she was fully engaged and central to the entire process. Simultaneously, he did a brilliant job of keeping me involved by diving into all the technical details I was interested in.

During the test drive, Cameron’s insights were incredibly informative. He was remarkably patient and courteous while explaining the various features and aspects of the car, ensuring we both felt confident behind the wheel.

The efficiency of the team was stunning. The process from selection to pick-up took a mere four days. Despite the quick turnaround, the car was prepared to an immaculate standard, presented perfectly for my wife’s "new car day."

It was also a pleasure to meet Tom, whose friendly input added a personal touch to the visit. In an incredible display of customer rapport, he actually remembered me from when I bought a car from this dealership nearly 40 years ago!

The entire team—from those handling the finance preparation to the other salespeople in the showroom—was consistently friendly. Even staff members who only saw us enter or leave with Cameron went out of their way to offer kind comments and wish us well with our new vehicle. Group M53 Ford has mastered the art of customer service, and we couldn't be happier.

Where to start with this one - don’t bother using them - they’re great at selling cars, but the aftercare is woeful!

Omoda 5 - renowned for having very over sensitive automated “saftey” controls - slammed on with no visible hazard, not in any predictable way, resulting in my pregnant wife of 35 weeks being hospitalised due to severe bump pain from the belt tightening and baby needing medical intervention to reduce his sky high heart rate otherwise early delivery was on the cards -

appreciate they only sell the cars and don’t make them - however don’t offer a “solution” to wanting to reject the unsafe vehicle as being “give us £2,200 and we’ll put you in another vehicle” and “the deal has to make sense for us and you” it’s not a deal i’m after, it’s taking the unsafe vehicle off our hands. Instead you wanted to make a few quid selling that vehicle second hand, as well as on the sale of a new car to myself.

Diagnostic Computer saying there is nothing wrong doesn’t mean the issue is not legitimate - it is well documented the cars are over sensitive, so much so, that you now have to advise people of this when selling the cars (rather than the manufacturer actually changing something on the software)

We have had a fair few vehicles off you, and you were always our dealer of choice, i’ve even recommended you guys to several friends who all bought from you - but absolutely never again!! today was your chance to take things seriously and help put things right, but instead you absolutely took the mick.
(Oh, And the other suggestion of saying my pregnant wife should sit in the back to avoid succumbing to the over sensitive braking, is just an odd cop out suggestion)

The safety features should be safe not cause harm.

I am sat here today 15th sept 2025, picking up my J7. I wish to state that Mark Jones has been exemplary in facilitating my purchase. He simplified everything for me, all in basic terms no bull. Simply put if you want an easy way to purchase a car, then see Mark.

As ever, Faye and the service team came up trumps when my car was in due to a recall for a minor fault.

Faye was very helpful in arranging a time that was convenient around my work schedule as a nurse. The work was completed in a timely manner, while I waited.

Very happy with the service I received.

I went in to have a look as due a company car, not able to buy from here, but that didn't make a difference to the team here. They not only let me look around and sit in the cars, ask questions but also let me test drive the 2 cars I was choosing between. I honestly would recommend them. They didn't have to do any of the above, and am used to being brushed off from other places. Matt (Jones) was very knowledgeable on both the cars and helped me make my decision. When I am in the market to buy myself I will definitely be buying from M53 Ford. Thanks guys.

I’m awarding this one star for the front of house reception team as they have always been cheerful and pleasant. Unfortunately, they are masters of the BS and will palm me off with any mumbo jumbo just to get me feeling satisfied.
My Ford Focus developed a coolant problem so I decided that as this was a big issue only Ford technicians would be qualified to deal with it.
I realised that it might not be a quick fix so I said they could keep the car overnight. Two weeks later !!!! It’s still in the workshop and awaiting parts. Eventually, I called the premises and was told that it was ready to collect and the price would be £2,281.73 !!!!!!!! OMG.
I collected it and paid the bill just happy to eventually get my car back.
As I drove out of the premises I noticed that the dash was showing 3 active messages. One, I was already aware of (the parking assist) but there were two new ones which hadn’t been there when I had dropped off the vehicle. These were an engine service now light and the hill start assist light. I telephoned the receptionist and was told to bring it back in which I did that evening. I was promised that I would be kept informed of the progress (which never happened) and I would be telephoned the next day. The next day with no communication I rang them only to be told that it needed a road test but as this was near closing time I would have to wait until the following day.
The following day I duly collected my car and found that the 3 active messages were still showing despite being told by reception that the mechanic had been on a 40 mile test drive and had checked everything to be faultless.
By now I just wanted to get out of this place so left for home to complete this review.
I am writing this review as a warning for other potential customers. M53 Ford are only interested in selling you a vehicle but have no interest in after car service or repairs.
You have been warned.
