Poor quality and service - AVOID
Purchased a 100% wool blanket from Luxe Bedding on 6 July 2025. The product listing stated that pilling would only occur for a short time. Unfortunately, the blanket continued pilling constantly and excessively and never improved. The shedding was so excessive it covered my new sofa and made the blanket unusable.
I contacted the seller and provided photos as requested. After reviewing the evidence, Vinod confirmed that a full refund would be issued.
Despite this confirmation, the refund has never been processed.
I have followed up multiple times without resolution and have now lodged a complaint with Consumer Affairs Victoria. If the matter is not resolved quickly, I will proceed with an application to VCAT.
What is most frustrating is that resolving something like this takes significant time and effort for the customer. It leaves you wondering whether some businesses rely on the fact that many people simply don’t have the time to pursue these matters further.
This has been a very disappointing experience, particularly given the cost of the product $200 !!!!. Consumers expect that when a seller acknowledges a fault and promises a refund, that commitment will be honoured.
I am sharing this experience so other customers are aware before making a purchase. Buy from a credible retailer.
