Lunabuloona was born out of an idea we have always had tucked away in our minds for our wee life plan to go into business together many years ago when we were practically bairns. Over the years we have toyed with the idea of buying ourselves a wee peecie shop, cafe, maybe a flat to rent out or even a b&b (4 In A Bed is a guilty pleasure). Finally after 26 years of marriage (I know we don’t look old enough – hmmm) and bringing up our 3 children, we are left facing the next step in the adventure we call life. After a successful and often very stressful career as a registered nurse with the NHS, I felt the time was right for me to try my hand at something completely different (life is too short and yer a long time deid). With the support and much encouragement from my lovely hubby, Paul, AKA Babe or Paully Wally Doodle to me, Lunabuloona was born. With our first year of trading under our belts, we have navigated the labyrinth of the current financial climate, witnessed more plot twists than a soap opera, experienced the highs and lows of business and have made the decision to pivot from being a gift shop to running with our own range of the quirkiest, funniest and downlight delightful greetings cards and homeware prints that will leave you grinning from ear to ear. For those wanting to elevate their card game from the usual boring “best person in the whole world blah, blah, boke” and unleash their inner sass then ditch the sickly sweet talk and opt for our unapologetically rude greetings card collection that are as bold as your personality. Sometimes, being polite is just overrated so break the mould say it like you mean it with our brutally honest, boundary pushing greetings cards. WARNING!!! OUR CARDS MAY INDUCE LAUGHTER, SHOCK OR BOTH. These beauties are not for your granny unless she’s got a kick ass sense of humour and loves a bit of banter! Celebrating occasions with a side of sarcasm has never been so much fun. While you’re at it, be sure to have a nosey at our range of quality, sometimes quirky and a wee bit cheeky prints to liven up your living space.
