I ordered a pair of shoes after seeing the photos online and thinking they were adorable. I selected my usual size, but when they arrived, they were too small. I requested a return label and a refund. Only then did I learn that, per their return policy, they do not issue refunds — only store credit.

Store credit is not helpful in this situation since the sizing does not work for me. Customer service was firm in refusing a refund and would only offer store credit.

If this matter is not resolved appropriately, I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

My experience with Lucent Los Angeles was absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend. Very stylish shoes and also extremely comfortable.

A Friend of mine told me about the lucent website, I love the pair of boots ordered them. The transaction was nice and easy. They kept me up-to-date with the status of the shipment and I love my boots.

Customer service was responsive in asking my questions regarding sizing. I was then able to get the Camden and Vintage Denim jackets. These are great pieces. I honestly don’t shop for new clothes too often, but when I do I search for high quality items to last a lifetime. I have seen other brands’ items at the same price point of lesser quality, and I have seen items of the same quality sell for much higher. Go read Lucent’s About Us page. I truly believe in their mission to produce luxury items at accessible prices.

I purchased a pair of boots I was really excited about, the look and price were very attractive. I received them via UPS relatively quickly, but when I opened the box and tried on one of the boots, they were way too small. I wear a size 14. These felt a full size too small. I put the boots back in the box and emailed Lucent the same day they were delivered. I heard back the next day asking for photos to show that they haven’t been worn, I sent the photos and the following day received an email saying, “they don’t provide refunds for boots” they offered store credit or replacement boots in a size up. I told them I’m not interested in that option, because I didn’t have confidence that another size would fit. I was under the impression that the 14 day return policy covered all items. I can’t believe that an online garment company doesn’t allow refunds for items that don’t fit. I will never buy anything from this brand again. I would encourage anyone interested in purchasing from this company to be aware of the return policy and be cautious about the size.

Ordered US Men’s 11, fit closer to 11.5. Wore product one time, less than 2 hours total time. Company would not exchange for closer size, citing “wear on bottom.” No other way to determine if they fit other than wearing them. Very disappointed. Most other brands in this space are more customer centric, better options out there.

Lucent was a pop up ad on instagram and it turned into a purchase that I absolutely love! The price is fair and they had $15 off too. Shoes came in really fast. 2 days to be exact. They are based in LA and I’m in PHX. So shipping was much quicker. The shoe it self is very quality and I’ve worn it couple times and it holds up great! 10/10 purchase 🔥 will be going back to shop again. .

I wanted to compare a few similar style shoes from different retailers so I ordered the Calabasas as my pick from Lucent. After receiving the shoes, I instantly fell in love with them. The design, the material quality, and the fit were spot on. These quickly became my favorite pair of shoes to wear out for nice occasions. Besides that, the shipping was fast and the packaging was luxurious. The shoes came individually wrapped in felt bags inside the box. The whole thing just looks and feels very premium. I will 100% be ordering many more shoes from them and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a similar style shoe/boot.
