National Lottery Omdömen

Ive bought about 30 of the cashword extra scratch cards from 3 different retailers in my area over the past 2 weeks and not even a £3 win back, you complain to the lottert and they just bang on about odds. What a load of rubbish, there are no winners out there, they give no hope to anyone buying a scratchcard at all. Absolute scammers just robbing peoples money they should not be allowed to get away with it.

I absolutely agree with all this negative feedback,, absolute discrace,,I occasionally buy a scratch card and of course, loose,,,but if I'm a little flush one day I may buy 3 only because it says 1 in 3 wins,,,and guess what,,,,,that's right,,,, Nothing,,,,give me strength,,,,the lucky 7s we're a great card I won a few quid on them hear and there and for a complete month I intermittently bought them with nice enjoyable wins from 20 euro up to 200 euro,,,I was so happy I went and got some food shopping out of my winnings,,,,but then all of a sudden,,Bang,,,stopped nothing,,like as if ok that's enough now start reducing the wins,,, occasionally I might win my money back but there is absolutely no fun in that what's so ever,,, anyways as mentioned guys I agree with you all,but your fighting a loosing battle 😱 p.s. I don't do lotto I do bookie's,,,thank you very much...

National Connery ,scam a lot.
Rigged thieving gambling Business.
Legalised Thieves.

A complete rip off don't buy anything they have thier fingers in a massive scam to rob your hard earned the lucky dips make me laugh if you get two both lines they always have one same number on each line so how does that work then

Online games are fixed, like the kids grab games at the arcade, better luck next time. 22 years playing on and off and not even 50 euro return.

Hmmm you can never win on scratch cards on line. I spent £100 on a scratch card that said you win one in 2.9 and nothing. Don’t trust this site. Camelot making big riches richer. Avoid avoid

Very suspicious. Play 10 or 20 games each for 5 euros, maybe you will win 2 or 3 euros. Looks like thousands of other people observe the same pattern.

Absolute poor firm to deal with. Con artists at the best. Don't play online, rigged to hell. You never see a poor bookie do you. Stuff you and shove it

With the millions profit they make, they are still out to con people.
I bought a £5 scratch card, and on it are 2 “ BONUS “ games, but the “BONUS “ numbers are all ready in the main panel of numbers so how can they be a bonus ?

I contacted my bank after someone used my bank card details to make unauthorised online purchases. The bank refunded my money and issued a new bank card. I went online to the National Lottery site and tried to update my new card details. Got notice saying I could not do this before verifying my id. I uploaded my id and several days later had still not been processed. The majority of all lotteries (European) can and do process id verification within 24- 36 hours...but of course not the Irish lottery.Having done some research with two friends I have discovered the Irish lottery has an awful reputation regarding customer service and generally the standard of service they deliver to the public. If they cannot process id within 24 -36 hours there is something seriously wrong with their system. Anyway, I was not prepared to wait any longer for them to get their act together and process my id verification and closed my account. Dreadful service and clearly bad management team.

I believe that the national lottery scratch cards and instant games are an absolute ripoff.

I have been playing for years and finally realise that they are way too greedy. Getting your stake back should not be considered a win. Quoted odds are surely not accurate.

I believe Camelot are an organisation of greedy thieves that dole out money for charitable causes to fool.

I stopped playing irish lottery long ago had a account with them and used to play instant win game's,won a couple of times, but what got my suspicions raised was when i played an instant win game and didn't win (expected) but when I literally played the same game again and got the exact same outcome as in letter for letter and word for word,I did question this and got no response and a day later the game was taken down for over a week to which i questioned this also and no response,I feel the lottery is a scam , prize's are shambolic for the money they charge to play,I play lottery in the bookie's now at least if you match 3 numbers you get a couple of hundred euro and not a crappy daily million that nobody ever wins

The app is poor and I don't have heart to complain to them so I will complain here. That is always the worst kind of customer.. too many unfinished games due to tech problems.... delays in requests... changes to the app. The lotto itself being far too hard to win in a small population..

The National lottery is made so hardly anybody wins apart from a rare few. The scratch card online states you have won when you have only won the money you paid for the card. It’s not a win. The odds for winning should be better so more people win. The big games should also have more winners. It’s just an optional tax. Better to pay some money to a charity or good cause of your choice and save the rest of your money.

I created my account in 2018. The website layout is decent. I had an issue once and the customer service rep that I dealt with on the telephone was great. I knocked off 2 stars for their poor password policy - limiting the password length and not allowing special characters is not acceptable in 2022. I like how I don't have to manually check tickets for winning numbers.

You will win nothing!! Maybe a free game that makes you feel good. You will never win just like muggins me. Warning!! do not play.

Why can't lottery put proper prizes on scratch cards instead of five or six jackpots around the country and five euros on most of scratch cards or a free ticket if they did this people might buy more instead of giving back ten euro win on a ten euro scratch card

What a waste of money. I used to win a bit here and there enough to keep me interested but you win nothing now since the new crowd took over and the rollovers are a joke, there is no way that should be suddenly happening a complete and utter con. Putting my lottery money in a jar from now on, at least at the end of the year I get a holiday. I am not the only one giving up either. Don't waste your money. The euromillions have forgotten that Ireland exists no one winning over a few thousand in months

BETWEEN 2015 and 2021 a total of 124 million in unclaimed prize money ;98% of the 124 m was used for marketing with just 2% allocated for additional prize money.
What is the Regulator of National Lottery doing about this .

Instant win games are a complete scam 1 in 7 wins back the price of 1 ticket I’d advise stay away it’s handy to do lotto numbers but that’s it. Since it left the hands of the Irish and was bough up by the consortium it’s a joke waste of money BE AWARE
