I’m really disappointed
I’m really disappointed with my experience with lookfantastic.ae. I placed an order on 7th March and had no indication at checkout that there would be additional delivery charges on arrival. It was only after I queried this that I was told these were taxes, which should have been made clear from the outset. Although I agreed to pay to avoid further delays, the whole process was frustrating.
To make matters worse, when my order finally arrived, one item was missing. It’s now been at least five days since I received an email acknowledging that part of my order hadn’t been sent, and I’ve heard nothing since. I’m still waiting for an item I could easily have bought locally without all this hassle. While I was happy with the items that did arrive, the lack of transparency and poor communication have really let the experience down.

Giving 2 stars just to say thank you that everything I received was original.
Now the bad part.
1. Before the delivery I received an email asking me to pay “taxes.” It looked very suspicious. Thankfully I saw it only after my parcel had already arrived. I have been living in the UAE for 4 years and this was the first time I received a message like that related to an order. It made me think that order information might be leaking somewhere.
2. The parcel was packed terribly. The box arrived opened and damaged, and several items inside were also opened. When I saw the condition of the package, I honestly thought the eye palette would be completely broken.
I understand that packages can be damaged during delivery, but proper packing would make a huge difference. Other retailers like Sephora and Gold Apple pack their orders very securely, and their parcels usually arrive in perfect condition.

I wish I could give this platform zero…
I wish I could give this platform zero stars, the worst e-commerce experience I’ve had.
It feels like they put random prices on products, and once you order, you’re stuck waiting 2–3 weeks while they “check the warehouse” and do “investigations,” only to cancel your order in the end.
Honestly, I’d stay away and save yourself the time, frustration, and disappointment.
