Awful Company with respect to customer service and delivery.
Do not trust Loaf’s dates the making of goods or delivery, they are farcicle. Placed an order back in June, with a 10 week delivery only to be informed it was delayed as being help in a store. A complaint was made and delivery date established, a day before delivery they cancel. Customer service is quite simply appalling, they say they will make recompense, but that is not the point, we need the furniture. Would we use them again, No. Will we cancel our order …. possibly.

What you've described falls very short of the level of service we aim to provide at Loaf and I want to sincerely apologise for the delays, poor communication and the inconvenience caused by the last-minute cancellation of your delivery. I also fully appreciate that while a gesture of goodwill may acknowledge the disruption, it does not solve the core issue at hand, receiving the furniture you’ve been waiting for.
I've taken note of your situation and would like to look into it personally to see how we can make things right and get your order to you as swiftly and smoothly as possible. We’d hate to lose you as a customer and I hope we have the opportunity to restore your confidence in us.

Timewasters who don't want to give young people a chance.
Son applied for a job at Loaf in response to an advertisement for part time staff. Was rejected in under 12 hours with no reason or feedback given.
If you are advertising to hire people and someone invests their time and care applying, at least have the decency to interview them. I suspect nobody even looked at his application.
This company doesn't deserve good quality employees.

Loaf sofa choices made much easier with a visit to Loaf Edinburgh shack
Visiting the Edinburgh Loaf shack was very helpful in choosing sofas from the fantastic Loaf range. Most models and many colours are available on display - and the free swatches make choice from the full range of colours easy to compare with colours at home. Very helpful and friendly service too. All in all an excellent experience.

Excellent service
Both visiting your Edinburgh shack and ultimately ordering on line were excellent experiences. The Straiton staff were warm, helpful and welcoming, our black lab loves visiting there, they make such a fuss of him. I look forward to my ottoman arriving.

Excellent product & good communication…
Excellent product & good communication (but the jolly, twee language grates after a few too many emails). Sadly it took three jolly calls to get the correct address. Clarity about whether a large, heavy coffee table counts as large or small (therefore whether the delivery people will or won’t unpack & remove the packaging) would be helpful. However the packaging was effective & didn’t involve unnecessary plastic. I had guests here, who kindly helped me to unpack- might have been a bit tricky otherwise. I’d certainly buy again & just grit my teeth about the jolliness/make sure I’m 100% sure what the delivery involves.

We aim to keep things light and friendly, but we hear you, too much “jolliness” can start to grate, and it’s something we’ll take on board as we look to strike the right balance in how we communicate.
We’re also sorry for the confusion around your delivery address and the classification of the item. You’re absolutely right, more clarity around what counts as a ‘large’ item (and whether that includes unpacking and packaging removal) would be helpful, and we’ll review how we explain this to customers going forward.
