Totally unacceptable
Although I renewed my insurance with you online via the App and received a confirmation email verifying that.
On the day of expiry you sent an email saying that my insurance had run out at midnight & I wouldn't be covered. That caused me a great deal of personal upset. I had to ring yourselves and explain the situation. After an hour and a half on the phone with you not having a clue what went wrong & having to go through all my details once again the situation was rectified.
As a person who doesn't check her emails on a daily basis I could have been driving around without any insurance, absolutely no fault of mine and you being totally responsible for me doing so.
Something somewhere within your systems went completely wrong & I hope it has been investigated thoroughly & no other people have had the same issue..
