We had an outstanding experience with our house builder, Linden Homes, from start to finish. The entire process was handled with professionalism, transparency, and genuine care, which made what can often be a stressful journey feel smooth and even enjoyable Danielle in the sales office was very attentive and friendly, helping us navigate the choices of finish and the upgrades we wanted.
The quality of the home is truly exceptional. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed and executed to a very high standard, from the craftsmanship and materials used to the finishing touches that really make the house feel like a home. It’s clear that pride goes into their work, and the result is a property that not only looks fantastic but feels solid and built to last. The Site Manager, Steve, attention to detail and customer care is outstanding.
What impressed us just as much—if not more—was the level of aftercare. Even after completion, the team remained responsive, attentive, and committed to ensuring everything was perfect. Any questions or minor issues we had were addressed quickly and efficiently, with a level of service that exceeded our expectations. Scott the Director from Vistry has visited to see if we are happy and any issues, although there hasn’t been many, were resolved quickly and professionally.
Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our new home or the experience we had. We would highly recommend this builder to anyone looking for quality, reliability, and excellent customer care throughout the entire journey. We love our new home ❤️
I recently purchased a property at the Little Glen development and unfortunately my experience has been disappointing.
While the buying process initially seemed smooth, my experience around the time of key handover felt inconsistent. It appeared that different customers were being treated differently, which raised concerns for me as a buyer.
Additionally, within a very short period after completion, there were noticeable changes in how properties were being marketed at the same development. This made me question the overall fairness and transparency of the process.
I have raised these concerns directly with the company, but the response so far has not addressed the core issues.
I hope the company reviews its approach to ensure more consistent and fair treatment for all customers in the future.

Build terrible quality and legally undersized houses linden pairs with vistry group all same company, my house is supposed to be a 3 bed 5 person home, legally its a 2 bed 3.5 person home. Environmental health report confirms that the 3rd room is not a habitable space due to its tiny size and that the house could never fit 5 adults in the bedrooms the only way our house becomes a 3 bed is if the living room is converted into a bedroom and we live without a living room
Update reply to Marcus please send me contact information or come to my home and I can show you how the report specifically says one of the rooms can only fit a standard bed in it and no other furniture and is not fit for purpose as bedroom at the most the room can only be used by an under 10 years old. You marketed this house has having 2 double bedrooms and a full single room but even the plannin documents show this was never gonna be the case from the moment it was built.

Linden homes in Redcar have no interaction with residents after you have moved in and had your statuary weeks to get faults to them, we paid for a different splash back behind the cooker, the wrong one was fitted, when it was changed it wasn’t sealed properly so I did it myself. A seal for the flue on the outside of the house was not fitted, after waiting for months we purchased it ourselves and I fitted it. The front doors on the houses are not fit for purpose (I am not the only resident who says this) and they let constant cold air and rain in, I had to email for months to eventually get a visit from the Window and door fitting company and a really nice lady from Linden/Vistry Homes who after a doorstep discussion went off to speak to the door company in private, the result was the door frame and front door were both changed, thank you to the lady, several months later it was exactly the same as the first door, we have a curtain and sausage shaped draught stoppers at the front and living room door, I’ve even tried fitting draught excluder tape within the frame but these front doors are just not fit for purpose!
I know that some people on the estate are already paying to have front doors fitted by different window & door companies.
In 2026 in a brand new house this is just not acceptable, I feel like I’m back in a house of my childhood from the 1960’s/70’s with a builder who doesn’t give a toss as they have their profit margin to think about.
The council won’t adopt the footpaths and roads on phase 1 or phase 2 of the estate because the engineering company who Linden/Vistry Homes use are also not up to standard, they have been promising to open the second entrance to the estate ever since we moved in 4 years ago and the engineering company are for ever digging up footpaths/roads then leave things for months on end, they are changing kerb stones over and over again, one of the engineering company vans came round with a short letter the other day to say the works will now continue to August 2026.
We have invested a lot of money into our house to make it greener and energy efficient but with the doors we have fitted we are fighting a losing battle (WE ACTUALLY LOVE THE HOUSE).
On the 25th of March 2026 I sent Linden/Vistry Customer Services another email about the front door and a reply was sent to me saying my email had been sent to the relevant department (the bin!).
All the doors and window frames on the estate are black/gray but I have told them on more than one occasion that if I have to pay for a new front it will be one of my choice and colour.
They really don’t get it, WE LOVE THE HOUSE, it is let down by things that are not fit for purpose, come on Linden/Vistry get a grip, it is 2026.
