I cannot believe that this host isn't as popular as the other big hosts. The speeds are literally phenomenal. They even gave me a free CPU upgrade; the server NEVER lags (in my experience). The customer service is INSANE, Josh instantly responds to customer support. The price-to-performance is really good, especially compared to other hosts.

I was having issues with my server and the discord support is fantastic. They are ready to help you and show care to there customers. A special shout out to srnyx for personally looking through all my server plugins and debugging the one that was causing issues. He provided me fixes to my issue as well. Very much appreciate the support. Thank you

Lilypad is easily the best server host provider there is - not only are the prices reasonable, but also never had an issue with them, if there had been an issue - It was always my poor programming skills. Never seen a better support team in my life - Will always provide a helping hand and incredibly friendly, also a very handy AI assistant that is highly accurate compared to others.

Josh has been excellent in helping me troubleshoot server issues on several occasions, and is quick to suggest solutions that the AI just lacks the nuance for. FIVE stars would seek help from Josh again.

I have been with Lilypad for over a year and I have never experienced any issues. They're quick to respond for help and are also helpful while doing so! Maintenance is announced well in advance and lots of stuff is possibile with them through communication. Will always be my go to server provider. (Oh and they're funny as well if a good community catches your interest)

All of the moderators are absolutely so sweet, funny and amazing! Cheap affordable servers, access all across the world and easy modding. If i'm not going with Lilypad, I'm not playing at all. You ask, they'll answer. W server hosters!!!

I’ve been using Lilypad for a bit over a year now for hosting various servers for me and my friends’ 2 week Minecraft phases and they’ve been solid. Easy to get signed up, easy to cancel. They actually undersell their specs, as they list a 7950X but actually have 9950X’s. Never have had any major problems with lag (other than the occasional jank that’s pretty standard with MC). They offer pretty standard prices for their hosts. The panel is a skinned Pterodactyl panel (at least I think it is). They also allow one-click installs of modpacks from the major providers. Overall, solid host. Nothing world-changing about it but they just do it well and have good value for the money.

Top tier hosting for my SMP

Lilypad have been fantastic for me setting up hosting for my medium sized SMP of around 40-60 regular online players.

Their suppoer is 11/10 with near immediate responses 24/7. They have gone above and beyond to help me fix some issues (often by my own cause) and have been super transparent whenever there's been any small outages out of their control.

Highly, highly recommend this host for anyone looking to start or move their server.

Great server performance and support

We've been running this server for about a week now with 8+ players and have had zero performance issues (although we do have a daily server restart which reduces RAM overhead visibly).

We had a minor issue with an update to the modpack in use but support, Josh in particular, was immediately responsive and offered quick resolution and instructions. I am a bit more technical than most so other users may require further guidance but I was very happy with the support I received.

Compared to other hosts I've had a great experience and plan to continue with this host.

Bought a 4GB server from them, a bit pricey for my budget but performance was really good. Had around 10 Fabric mods and 2-3 players. Averaged about 1.6GB RAM and 6% CPU usage. Great resource optimization and stability. Highly recommend this host!

Lilypad has been my go to server host when it comes to minecraft for a long time now!

Server works great, all features are well explained, you can customize you server a lot and customer service was very quick and pleasent.

Honestly best host I've used, Josh is really nice and helpful. There's not much else to say.

We had a error on our server. But the Admin helped us in seconds to a perfect result.
Otherwise server runs as smooth as you can imagine. Highly recommend this service!

From Southeast Asia (with 8GB RAM service), there isn’t a single bit of lag or any performance issues with their servers their servers are crazy good.

I was originally running my Minecraft server on a Ryzen 9 9950X, and the performance was absolutely fantastic — high TPS, smooth gameplay even with many players, and no issues at all. Recently, the hosting provider switched the CPU to an EPYC 4464P without proper notice, and the results have been terrible.

Performance has dropped significantly. The server now lags under even moderate player loads. TPS drops frequently, and timings show clear CPU bottlenecks. Minecraft is very sensitive to single-thread performance, and while EPYC CPUs are great for multi-core workloads, they are simply not suited for Minecraft servers where high IPC and strong single-thread speeds are essential.

The Ryzen 9 9950X was perfect for this — EPYC 4464P is a huge downgrade. I'm extremely disappointed, and unless the host switches back or offers Ryzen options again, I’ll be moving my server elsewhere.

Avoid if you care about server performance.
