Went to a butter-themed dating event for the first time and honestly it was a really fun idea. The whole theme could have been cheesy (or buttery I guess), but it was done in a simple, relaxed way that made it easy to talk to people. The vibe was friendly, the crowd was good, and the butter-themed touches actually made for great conversation starters. You could tell some real thought went into it. Would definitely go again if they host another one.

Great format for meeting lovely people ❤️ Super well hosted and curated, so there was a lot of opportunities to meet people in a natural and relaxed way.

I had a genuinely great time at this event and would definitely recommend it. The group was really well curated, with a diverse mix of people I wouldn’t normally meet, and the vibe felt more like relaxed, high-quality socialising than pressure dating. Knowing everyone was single made it easier to be open. Overall, a super fun, well-hosted evening!

I had a good time! There was no awkwardness and the time passed seemingly quickly - both signs for a good design. The activities made it easy to connect with people and the crowd consisted of interesting and fun people.

That was a fun event! Thoughtful organizers, great vibe and it attracted a good crowd. I would go again.

Like Butter was designed with so much attention to detail and strong values in mind to combat the unpleasant aspects of dating. whether you meet someone significant there or not, it's a fun experience!

The organisers put a lot of love and effort into creating a very cosy and safe space to meet new people. The idea of finding love through friends makes just a lot of sense so you are not left alone in the jungle of dating. Totally worth it to get out of the comfort zone and give it a try!

The best dating event I have ever been to and could possibly imagine! Clara and Sasha (the organizers) curated the perfect evening and have an insane attention to detail. The venue was cozy, the games fostered both playful and deep connection, the mingling wasn’t awkward, the music slapped, the butter was decadent, and, most importantly, the people had incredibly positive energy. I would highly recommend Like Butter to anyone looking for love :)

I had high expectations going into this because of the fabulous design and pre-event communication and I was not dissappointed. Clara and Sasha overdelivered on all accounts and especially the selection of guests was so well done. Games were fun and entertaining, venue was beautiful and conversations were flowing. Would recommend to anyone trying to find love without the apps. I ended up with 2 dates lined up.

As a butter-head and breadthusiast I might be slightly biased, but this was hands-down the most thoughtfully crafted and skillfully facilitated butter-themed dating events I ever attended! The creative juices and extraordinary sense of humour that Sasha and Clara poured into every bit of it, the unrivalled bang-for-butter ratio, an inspiring and curious bunch of people, the divine bread&butter-selection ... you're in for a rich & spreadable treat!

A dating event that was never awkward or lame. I had a great time, met a hottie, and made new friends I'm really excited about. Clara and Sasha thought about how to make the whole experience as delightful as possible, and it definitely showed. There was a wall of envelopes each with the name of an attendant, where a Polaroid picture of the attendant would go (taken there) and where other attendants could leave little notes with their contact details if they liked you. That meant there was no pressure during interactions for there to be a decision and an action, the conversation could just flow. The butter table was fun and tasty, the bread was fresh, the idea to limit alcoholic drinks to 2 was great. The price tag was steep, and some activities could be improved but overall still a 5 from me.

I had a great time at the first dating event from Like Butter. Clara and Sasha clearly put in a ton of effort to curate the evening. It was thoughtful and open, and for a first timer at an event like this, I found it really approachable. Also the butter table was stunning! I would recommend their events to any friends who are single and trying to mingle.

When my friend suggested that we attend this event together, I was initally a bit turned off because of the price tag...but since I've been pretty frusterated with online dating I thought I'd give it a shot anyway. And I'm really glad I did!

When I arrived I had a better sense of what was included in this price tag-the attention to detail was just exceptional. We all had handwritten nametags, little polaroid pictures where people could leave their numbers etc. And the bread and butter table was like nothing I've ever seen before. Artisan and creative af!

Going with a friend made a big difference for me. It helped me feel more relaxed and at ease right away, which made the whole experience more enjoyable than a normal 1-1 date which often feels like a job interview.

I've been to other in-person dating events before and this one really stood out.The organizers struck a great balance between playfulness and silliness, while still creating space for more meaningful, intentional conversations. I met several men I found interesting, charming, and attractive—people who probably wouldn’t have caught my attention on an app. It was also a 50/50 gender balance which is great for a hetero context (in my experiences most events tend to be more women than men).

Ontop of that, the price tag signaled that everyone who attended was actually serious about building a meaningful connection! You don't pay for an event like that if you are just looking for a hook-up.

Overall, it was a refreshing, well-thought-out experience and I’m looking forward to meeting up with the person I met there! Fingers crossed.
