My mother had a policy with phoenix life insurence to pay out in event of her death a fixed sum to pay for her funeral. I have to say at such a difficult time, it was not made harder by trying to claim on this policy to pay for the funeral. I found it really straight forward and easy to process and within around 7 to 10 days after speaking to them and providing the details needed , a payment was made. I was very grateful that it was easy to do as it would of made things so much harder if it wasnt. I always worry that policys can be abit of a con and they may not pay out but i was prooved wrong with Phoenix. My mother had paid more into the plan than was give but this can be sometimes be case and the main thing is it took a lot of pressure off me to use the money to pay for the funeral as i dont know how i would of paid for this if this policy hadnt been in place. Would recommend them.
