Absolute crap. You can’t buy a Tile without signing up for Life360 whether you want it or not. And then there’s no way to cancel it. Had to phone bank and ask them not to honour any direct debits. Tile has always worked well for me but this subscription garbage just makes them look like the dirty robbing bastards that they are.

I HAD SEVERAL as a present many years ago.
Very expensive often gave wrong location.
I found a cheaper product , better.
Where they thought I would pay more for their rubbish I do not know..
Also in the early days one said needed replacing.
Like a fool I did and the original carried on working another 12 months.
My advice.
If you need one, find the cheaper product.

Life 360 is not taking accountability for this, pushing it on us for this or that. One excuse after another. Do not trust that crash detection will actually work.
Great for tracking, very difficult to close account
We began using Life360 as to track my elderly father. Once he was no longer able to drive we tried shutting it down. I was able to close down my dads and mine, but my husband continues to get charged several months later. We've followed all the instructions, we've tried chatting with them, there are no phone numbers to call. My husband logs into his account, it shows Free Membership, the Google Play Store says the subscription has expired but we are still getting charged every month.
Latest updates to Life360 aren't good
The newest update is bad compared to before. The biggest disappointment is that it no longer says how far someone is from you. You can no longer map to the person like before. I used the distance from me constantly. I also don't like the cartoon-like appearance. I don't use Waze because it feels cheap and cartoonish and now 360 is feeling the same. Bring back the old look and features.
Awful customer service
I've been using Life360 for a while and it was generally ok, aside from delayed notifications and occasionally inaccurate location tracking. However, I received a Mother's Day notification to send virtual flowers to my recently departed mummy. I then tried to find a way to disable Mother's Day notifications and when I couldn't, I emailed support. Their response was that it was a marketing ad and there's no way to turn it off. I'm well aware it was marketing, however literally every other service I've used has a concept of sensitivity and allows you to disable Mother's and Father's Day notifications. For an app whose target audience seems to be primarily families, this is appalling.
The tiles are absolutely pointless! 😡
The app works ok and we and my family can find where each other are most of the time which is perfect, but the tiles are absolutely useless, I realise they are not active trackers and that they only work if they are near Bluetooth and life360 on someone's phone but I have one in our motorhome and it's been all over the country (UK) this week and it's updated maybe three times, so utterly useless... Don't waste money on the tiles people...
Not terrible. Not great either.
Seems to be accurate enough for location but records distracted driving events (ie using phone while driving) when I'm doing no such thing (including when my phone is tucked in my back pocket.) Picks up hard braking fine, but way off on the phone use.
Maybe it's laggy and picking up me using my phone once I've stopped the car? No idea, but I'm glad I'm not a teenager trying to prove to my parents that I'm driving safely. There must be a better way of keeping drivers safe. I definitely won't be using the paid version.

Purchased a tile for my keys. I followed the directions to activate. NEVER did activate to work. A 2nd person helped followed the same directions. Still shows that it's connected but does not find keys.

I cannot see addresses of family members. I don’t like this. What’s the point of having this app if you don’t have that feature. They also give you the run around on fixing the issue so I just cancelled my membership.
Sell your info to Insurance Companies and Refuse to Delete Acct
They sell your driving info to insurance companies so they can potentially raise your rates. When I requested deletion, they sent me an email at 1 AM to say they denied my privacy rights.
Glorified tracking app that doesn’t work
I would go less than 1 but that’s not an option. Collision Notifications DO NOT work as advertised! Husband was in an accident (side swiped on a round about going 40-45kmh. Force was strong enough from the other driver to spin my half ton 180degrees). Grateful no one was hurt! But my brand new truck needs a door and cab replaced. Notified Life360 that the app did not notify anyone in our circle and did not notify emergency services. I was redirected to 3 separate people, explained my problem 3 times and nothing has been done to rectify the issue.
This app sucks. Their customer service sucks even more. Basically this is a glorified tracking app who sells your information for additional profits.
If you’re going to gouge people and sell their information, make sure your app works!!!

Continual nagging pop-ups are SOoo annoying
In my life360 circle we have all chosen, and are happy with, the settings we have selected. We have enabled/disabled the various configuration options so the app works the way we want it to. Unfortunately, the kind folk at life360 keep pestering us every time we open the app, and try to get us to enable different options. We are sick of the continual nagging pop-ups. Please give us a break.

Instant Notification During a Car Crash – Truly Life-Changing
This app might not be the most perfectly accurate one out there, but it is absolutely worth downloading — and in my experience, it has been life-changing.
I’ve had the app for over a year now, and recently my partner was involved in a car crash. The app notified me instantly. It sets off a very loud alarm, which makes you check your phone straight away. In a situation like that, those seconds really matter.
It’s incredible peace of mind, especially if you or your loved ones spend a lot of time on the road.
My partner also mentioned that during the crash his phone was thrown across the car on impact, and the alarm sound actually helped him locate it quickly so he could access it. That is such an underrated but incredibly important feature.
For safety alone, I would recommend this app. It genuinely made a difference when it mattered most.
I have been attempting to get a link to…
I have been attempting to get a link to reset my password for 3 days in advance of my trip out of the country in 72 hours. They have emailed me repeatedly telling me to check my spam and trash. I sent them screenshots of my empty bins. They have STILL not sent a link. I’m switching to AirPods. It’s unfortunate, I’ve used Tiles for years. Previously I have recommended them to others. Never again-for a product that should help people in emergencies.
