Brilliant swimming summer school
We have done two summer schools and have found the Lido a fantastic place for the kids to improve fast. Elly and the other teachers were brilliant. They have great communication skills prior and after every lesson. They do care about each child and pay attention to their strengths as much as their space for improvement, and always meet them with encouraging words and a positive attitude. They know how to guide them to get out of their comfort zone to achieve a new threshold. The kids have asked to come back as soon as the lessons were over!

Very enjoyable and worthwhile swimming course.
I throughly enjoyed the week long course for improvers. Ely tailored her teaching to each students’s level. Everything was really easygoing, and I was surprised how much we packed into a half hour lesson. The group size allowed for a lot of 1:1 coaching and we were given plenty of drills to keep practicing on our own . I was amazed by my “before and after” swimming video. The lido is a wonderful pool to learn in. I will take another course in the near future. Highly recommended

Improver swimming lessons at the Lido
I had a brilliant week of lunchtime swimming lessons with Maree at the Parliament Hill Lido. We focused on front crawl, and learned the technique through a series of steps. Maree was an excellent teacher and gave lots of useful tips. Everyone at the Lido was really friendly. I'm definitely going to book again for later in the summer.

Let's tell you my story
I've been (not swimming) playing in the sea water before travelling to UK.
2 weeks ago, I went to hampstead pond and I was nearly drawning😂😂
So , I decided to learn and because I am lucky , I've met the best trainer ❤️
Fist of all, you'll get a tan from sun x-ray😂
But Really , I didn't believe that 30 minutes for 5 days will make a huge difference but now I'm confident enough to swim again in the deep water (not the olympic champion but at least will not drawn😂🤣)
Let's start our feedback.
Elly gave us a very good time and devaute her self to teach us all the needed technique , she has all neede training skills and was really keen on our time and to achieve the best result
For myself ,I hope I will practice more with her again as every time she fixed all my errors and I gained skills and confidence swimming with her

Parliament Hill Lido swim school
My coach Maree was excellent. I learnt so much in just 30 minutes. And Maree encouraged me to practise loads after my first lesson which I did. It all startetomake sense during practice. I thought I’d never learn front crawl but it looks like I am getting the basics right. Thank you Maree!

If you have the time there’s adult advanced courses with our instructor Maree be great to have you back over the summer holidays this can also go alongside your children participating you all together in the same week

always a joy to work with Elly. Perfect way to spend your lunch break. I wish I could come more often but I live to far away. It is worth the travel.

Great fun and very useful and motivating
Very fun, motivating and very insightful. I try to become a good front crawler and have to unlearn my stroke habits I accumulated over the years. Elly is a great help.Well worth it.

Great improvements with 1-2-1 focus
Elly worked with both my boys 1-2-1improving their swimming. We’ve just got back from our summer holiday where they swam with much more confidence, including in open water as well as in the pool. A real step up.

Great for children and adults
My daughter had a great set of lessons with Elly in the summer. So I asked Elly help me improve my stroke. She quickly identified what I needed to change and
her instruction was really clear and helpful. It's made a positive difference. Highly recommended!
