These guys are incredibly thorough and helpful with their licensing. Zob was great to speak with and answered all of my licensing questions!

I think Lickd.co is great, with by far the best music selection of any site of this sort I have seen. I use them to acquire licenses for songs I use in independently created music videos with game footage visuals from Final Fantasy XIV.

It is true that there are limits in how the music can be used, but there are many instances where you will find these licenses helpful. If you make original content that needs attached music, this site is for you. I have found customer service to be prompt and helpful when releasing claims; just remember they operate under UK time (daytime hours weekdays).

As for the license reverting if the video gets over 500k views in the first month: this is a highly unusual situation, and my sense is that while in such a case you would lose monetization of that single video, the rights holder would not issue a Strike against your channel. Copyright Strikes and Blocks are our biggest risks. Avoid those risks with Lickd.co.

I had 2 bad experiences in 2 purchase

-I bought the wrong track seems there is some issue with sign in in and a track added in my cart month before was still in the cart while the one I just clicked license was not added to the cart, I then paid quickly without looking much the title of the track since it was obvious I just added the track i wanted in the cart, once paid I downloaded it because its the fist option you see once paid, and soon after realised the mistake when reading the license with the name of the track, well after contacting the support they replied that they don't refund because I already downloaded the track, so i have a track and a license that I will never use.
-after that I paid for the correct track this time, and uploaded my video on youtube with the license in description, after asking them to clear the copyright claim they told me that "cannot release your claim as it breaks the terms and conditions of our licenses"
Please note we cannot license into adverts: Can Lickd music be used in adverts on social media? nor can we license to businesses: Can freelancers / marketing agencies get licenses for their clients?
So freelancer like me cannot publish their video on their youtube channel with Lickd track, the license is useless, and they don't refund it either

Lickd has no real value for content creators. Hidden in the bottom of the rightsholder terms, it says:

"If your video goes viral (video views total of over 500k) in the first 30 days of your content going public, your video could be reclaimed by the rightsholder."

If your video does well, they'll just take back the license you paid for. I'm glad I caught this early. Shameful.

My experience with them was pretty rotten
Buyer be ware when using their services. They claim to have license content that you can use with Youtube videos. I used a music visualizer that I have a paid subscription for , on top the music license's I have from LICKD. when I posted my video on YouTube the system copy right claimed the video. When I contacted the company they did not respond in a timely manor . I was told because I had filed a claim that I now needed to contact their support email. After contacting their support email they took their time responding. Because of them no releasing the claim my monetization was denied with YouTube . I recivied a email from JOSH saying Unfortunately your copyright claim will not be released as your video breaches our terms and conditions. Our music cannot be monetized on art track or remix channels. This is highlighted to users in our FAQs and in the license agreement in your account. That was after I got upset with them for getting me denied on Youtube . Josh started crawfishing after I had properly cited the videos AS REQUIRED .. Guys do not use them or TRUST THEIR SERVICE .. THEY ARE A SCAM
