Bueno, pero tarde
El proceso de compra y la información acerca de la entrega fueron buenos y, además, el libro llegó en buenas condiciones. Sin embargo, las fechas de entrega no coincidieron con las que inicialmente ponían en web y se retrasaron aproximadamente dos semanas.

The booking was good
The booking was good, no problems at all. Only that the shipping took a bit more than 2 weeks to arrive. In our case, our daughter needed the book as soon as possible. In the end it wasn't that bad, but unexpected, that it would take so long.

Poor customer service after delayed order
I ordered a book from Libristo because the product page showed “Envío en 3–6 días”. It was not clear whether this meant calendar days or business days and that should have been specified more clearly. Based on the estimate shown on the product page I ordered from them because I wanted to take the book on an upcoming trip.
After placing the order on September 4, I received an email saying the estimated delivery would actually be September 15–21. That was later than I expected based on the product page but I decided to wait.
On September 19 I received an email saying the book had arrived very damaged from the supplier and that the order would be delayed again. There was no clear new shipping date, no clear solution and no real acknowledgment of the inconvenience. I understand that Libristo cannot fully control how items arrive from their supplier but that is also not my fault as the customer.
I contacted customer support because I was frustrated and disappointed. I explained that I did not want to keep waiting indefinitely if they could not ship the book on time and I raised a complaint about the unclear estimate, the delay and the lack of communication.
I was told twice that colleagues who handle cancellations would look at my complaint and reply shortly. No one from customer service got back to me. I only received automated emails saying that the order was cancelled and that the refund was issued.
I appreciate that the refund was issued but the customer service follow-up was very poor. The main issue for me was not just that the book arrived damaged from the supplier. It was the lack of a clear new delivery date, the lack of any proper response to my complaint and the fact that no one followed up after telling me twice that someone would. Very disappointing customer experience.

While the refund was processed after the cancellation, we’re sorry that our communication and follow-up did not meet the standard you should expect from us.

The order was fulfilled and arrived within the estimated timeframe. The books could have been better packed. They were three large, heavy hardcover volumes (weighing just over seven kilograms, to give you an idea) and should have had some protection. Although the box was battered during transit, the books—fortunately—arrived intact. It could have been better, but I can't complain. I will buy from them again in the future.

My experience with Libristo was great!
I found in Libristo a book that was out of print everywhere in my country, so I really recommend it if you are looking for a special-edition book or an old backlist book.
The price was fair, it arrived in perfect conditions and on the scheduled time. I’ll definitely buy here again!
