Not dodgy but needs work
Definitely not a dodgy site, I got a streak of over 400 days, I paid VIP+ got some good learning in, helped me find a job but I'm sure there are better alternatives.
At times it felt like there were few different styles, as if there were very distinct lesson types. One was exceptionally wordy, where it felt like you had to read verse and poem about very simple definition type knowledge, it felt unnecessairly long. Other type was explain level 1-2 type difficulties in lessons but throw you into level 5+ VMs, made it impossible without doing your own research, which can be a good thing but it produced a vast dichotomy between them. Then there were also balanced and engaging lessons. Or just a pure video, most boring of all in my opinion. It's expensive for what it is, slow, janky VMs, I find VMs I build myself are exponentially faster, likely low budget to maintain the servers running them, which is a shame at £35 odd a month.
The review would have been higher but the last thing which disappointed me greatly was the fact that upon completing my 365 day streak, I didn't get my reward. Advised email was sent automatically, never got it, spent better part of 2 months chasing it via different methods, chat, emailed, chat again, no response. Perhaps system recorded my streak incorrectly where I may have had a gap without realising it or there was a system error, I don't know, but I would have liked to be able to find out. Ultimately, I found the customer service to be non-existent, and I just wasn't willing to pay that price for being unable to get any response other than "raise a ticket" or "email us". Which I did but got no where.
For the price of subscription for a year plus, you could easily pay for cysa+ Maybe even CCNA with it and be able to progress further as this does not provide any official certifications.
