I've bought the LS10 MkII based on reviews I've read online. It replaced a Rega Ania Pro on my Planar 8 turntable. I didn't need to readjust the tonearm height; it fits perfectly with the standard P8 setup. Head setup done by following the Baerwald alignment.

Shipment has been fast, and it included all taxes and customs duties. Support from Mr. Gregory de Richemont has been excellent throughout the entire process.

Sonically, it has been a big step up compared to the Ania Pro. The LS10 MkII produces a fast, open, natural, and very dynamic sound. Detail retrieval is really high; the virtual stage is wide; background is very quiet.

It makes you forget everything else and immerse in the music. I'm revisiting my entire vinyl collection...

The icing on the cake is that the value for money is unbeatable!

Safe shipment, perfect quality, the sound is brilliant

Bought the SL1 MK2 cartridge and rt channel stopped working 6 months later. Because I had bought some silver cables right after the first purchase, and returned them for not working properly, Greg denied my warrenty on the cartridge. I have a $500.00 door stop now. The RCA cables have two ways of wiring them, a 2 wire and a 3 wire system. The two wire is common to 80% to the vintage receivors, while the new amps generly have the 3 wire system. He lost the dispute with my bank and I rewired the cables for the two way systems and they work great! I have an Electronics degree and I was shocked at their Ignorance & stupidity.

Based on their excellent review on the LS10 cartridge with Voyager headshell at Alpha Audio in NL I aquired two and are very pleased with them. A high quality decent priced priced headshell. Service, packaging and communication by
Gregory de Richemont, their sales manager also is pleasant and he knows what he is talking about. Highly recommended.

First off the cartridge sounds great. Le Son recommends 30 hours of break in. I would say 35-40. Compared to the Soundsmith Zephyr Mk3 that it replaced, the LS10 MKII, on my system is more detailed, with better space between instruments. I find it well balanced and most important the instruments all sound like they should. Set up was easy.
The company was very responsive, polite, informative and a pleasure to deal with. All questions were answered very quickly.
I believe the cart is an excellent value and the 60 day return policy takes all the stress out of trying it, but I'll be keeping mine.

I have been collecting vinyl records for many years and have always bought consumables in the form of cartridges in the usual stores where they sell accessories for vinyl. And for the first time I read about the existence of a small company LeSon, which manufactures cartridges in China. I took a chance and decided to go the other way and wrote a letter to the president of the company. One month later, I received a parcel! This amazing product is not comparable to what I had before! Amazing responsive people and very competent professionals in their field. Thank you.

Ordered the Voyager headshell in lunar white.

Seller is profesional and very responsive. Shipping was quick to the UK from Shanghai - arrived in one week.

The headshell is beautifully packed in its own jewel case, with a Japan-made precision screwdriver accompanying it, to assist with azimuth adjustments. I have been able to dial in a Baerwald arc, azimuth and VTA to perfection on my Technics SL-1500C with Grado Sonata3 cartridge, using this headshell, an USB audio interface and REW’s Real Time Analyser screen. Totally worth the investment, in my opinion.

The Technics factory fitted headshell is certainly not bad at all and with a lot of patience and effort could get you there, so that’s still an option if you’re on a tight budget. But the Voyager is better and still good value for money.

The fact of the matter is, an affordable and optimally dialed-in deck sounds much better than a $10k one with VTA and azimuth even slightly off. Highly recommend this headshell.

Note: one thing that threw me initially is that, when you loosen the screw that holds the headshell to the connector, besides the obvious left/right movement, there is also a bit of up/down play, which initially felt wrong, but turned out a blessing in disguise, inasmuch as it allowed me to perfect VTA before locking it tight in place.

All in all, five whole stars.

The cartridge provides an extremely detailed sound with perfect soundstage and placement. Definitely met expectations and is now the cartridge of choice. For once the glowing reviews are warranted. I wanted to print off a cartridge alignment protractor but I have an Apple Mac, which does not support the .exe file. Gregory generously offered to print it into a pdf and send me the pdf if I could provide the relevant information. He has done this twice for me as I just purchased a new turntable and tonearm. So MERCI BEAUCOUP!!

My cartridge was shipped quickly to the USA and packaged very well. It is the first moving coil cart I've tried on my Thorens TD 160 turntable. I like that it is a high output cart, so I don't need a pre-amp. Gregory at Le Son, has been very helpful with sending me any info I've needed quickly, like how to set up properly, cleaning info, etc. The threaded holes for mounting make set up go smoothly. I'm very happy with the SL1 MKII cartridge, nice crisp clear sound.

This headshell was a very good choice as an upgrade to my Technics stock headshell. I had tried a graphite headshell before this, but it seemed a bit too heavy for the tonearm and sound was not as dynamic as I like. Le Son has provided a nice step up in both dynamic response and clarity for a more engaging listening experience. I also appreciate the 1.5 mm change in mounting height that allowed me to raise the VTA adjustment above the bottom of the scale - I no longer need the spacer that I had to use with my previous graphite headshell. Great job, Le Son!

Advice, related of my question about amatch with my project 9 CC arm

Could not be more impressed with the Le Son LS10 MkII moving coil phono cartridge. It blows aways much more expensive carts that I auditioned. Initially, it delivered "everything all at once" - the amount of detail was almost overwhelming. After several days, the music became natural and coherent as the stylus and cart settled into my vintage McIntosh system. It's a complete joy to get in discovering new elements in every record. One bonus feature is how incredibly quiet the cart is. Surface noise is virtually gone compared to every other cartridge I have owned. I unequivocally recommend this world class phono cartridge and compliment the outstanding interaction I had with the company's general manager Gregory de Richemont.

Mounted my Le Son SL1 mkll on the Voyager headshell with the brass washer.
The washer gives a more thight connection, i feel.
SL 1 was previous mounted on a carbon headshell and it sounded great. With the Voyager there was more ''air'' to the music. SL1 mkll and Voyager sound great together.
The fingerlift on Voyager is also a nice and very functional detail.

I received the turntable cable I ordered at LeSon at home in less than 10 days from the order I placed online on their website. The package was properly sealed and the cable was isolated and protected inside the box.
The cable looks solid built with high quality materials and appears manufactured with high care to all constructive details and design.
I installed it between my Dynavector XV1t new cartridge and the phono preamplifier. The combination cartridge-phono cable from LeSon provides the audiophile level of music reproduction I wanted. I am happy with my purchase and I am convinced my money were well spent :-)
Besides the quality of the product I was surprised and delighted to receive simple and kind email messages from Gregory de Richemont confirming my order, the date when the cable was sent and the expected date of arrival.
