I had a loan with leandcare for a boat. I sold the boat a year ago and offered a settlement with them for a little less, which they agreed to. However since then I've been getting threatening emails and calls from them. When I phone and tell them that this loan is taken care of already, and I have a letter of release they apologized and said. This won't happen again. And we will close that loan well a month ago they decided to randomly withdraw almost $1,000 from my account. I phoned them and they said they would send the refund, which I have not seen yet, and now they will not respond to my emails or phone calls. This place is extremely shady I will never again go through them and I advise anyone else to stay far away

They will charge you with the highest interest but will provide you with the amount you need and that's okay because you have agreed to that interest rate. However, despite the high interest, they will try to withdraw your money from your bank every other day if they don't get the amount you owe them. Even if you have talked to them and they promise not to try to withdraw again, that is BS. They will try and bleed you with the bank fees for NSF until you are buried from the bank charges and they don't care about it. All they care is to get that amount and they don't care how or where you get the money no matter how little you owe them.

DON'T BORROW FROM THIS COMPANY!

My paycheck was late.
I didn't know until the payment was due.
I sent them an email stating that my paycheck was late.
As soon as they got the NSF they put it through again without even contacting me.
So now I owe them $150, plus my interest rate goes up.
They call themselves lendcare but the only thing they care about is how much money they can get out of you.

I have been extremely dissatisfied with my experience with LendCare. They have asked me to continue paying for an insurance policy on a vehicle I no longer own. When I inquired about how they would fulfill their obligations under the policy if I became sick, disabled, or lost my job, they responded that they wouldn't, since I no longer own the vehicle.

Since May 31, I have been trying to resolve this issue, but the only response I get is that I need to pay the principal amount plus the interest they would have received over the next five years—a total of $6,000 for a $1,987 policy. Despite numerous requests to speak with a manager, I have been repeatedly ignored.

I would be willing to pay for the insurance policy if they would transfer it to my new vehicle, but they refuse to do this as well. Jane, the customer service representative I've been speaking with, has been unhelpful, often sighing on the phone and questioning why I don't want to pay for a policy that I cannot utilize.

This experience has been incredibly frustrating, and I cannot recommend LendCare based on the poor customer service and unreasonable demands I have encountered.

These crooks are evil!!! They keep taking out more & more $$, raising it from $500 to almost $1000 per month . Now they take out over 2x as much as the agreed upon amount! Therefore we are short over $400 for our pad rent! My husband tried to call them regarding this & he was put on hold & given the run around for 5 HOURS!!! We are NOT dealing with these crooks anymore!!!! STAY AWAY FROM LENDCARE! THEY ARE CROOKS & SHOULD BE IN PRISON FOR FRAUD!!!!

Do your research. This company is under multiple investigations. They told me they re wrote a car loan and not a cash loan....They did and without consent. They did an addendum with only my information and no signature. They are tricky, thats why they get away with scamming people. Keep all emails, and they do not record phone calls. They manipulate and lie. I can't afford one but im getting a lawyer that has had prior experience with this company. Do the same.

Loan approved, for $2000 needed purchase insurance for $300 with Apple Card . Etransfer sent to wrong email address with extra letter . Promised to correct this . Not answering phone calls . There are 2 Lendcare companies, one is a Scam

Pretty easy to get my name and email I suppose. They sent me documents to sign for a very large loan I never applied for. Four calls to customer service: 2 forwarded that were never answered, 2 just cut off the line. I have preserved the call, the emails and documents for the RCMP. You should too. These people are predators. Nice world we live in these days.

This is a TOTAL SCAM company masquerading as a lending institution. They begin making unauthorized loan dedications in any amount they feel like, and emails and phone calls to customer support and managers go unanswered. It is impossible to reach anyone in this company. After speaking with my Attorney and the Police, I found out that they are currently the subject of several investigations by the FCAC, CDIC and multiple lawsuits. DO NOT, DO NOT! do business with this company at all! They will compromise your bank account and practically STEAL your money.Just to clarify, this is Lendcare in Pickering. I saw people say there’s two companies and one is a scam, but the one I’m referring to is the “legit” Lendcare and they’re ALSO a TOTAL SCAM. Won’t be surprised if the provincial government kicks them out of Ontario like they were kicked out of Alberta for shady business operations.

There are two different Lendcare companies. The one I encountered today scammed me huge!! I fell for it too! Jake, and Vincent, sucked me into going to get an apple gift card for $200 for insurance on loan. I did that they asked for coffee a photo of the gift card number on the back and the receipt of the store I purchased it from then told me that within 30 minutes my loan would be e-transferred. I got an email saying your E transfer has been sent! conveniently they spelt my email address with an extra letter.. when I contacted Jake, He said oh my gosh, let me fix this within 15 minutes. I waited over an hour hour and a half, finally called him got some crap story that they can’t reverse e transfer which is complete crap and that they have to cancel my loan and start over tomorrow and I have to get another Apple prepaid card!!??? WHAT??? I don’t know how to report them or what to do. I’m out $200 I guess but they were either from India or Nigeria. They were very hard to understand and I feel so stupid. My mom was getting a loan with Jeff Washington and Victor they asked for all her bank info then they asked for mine needless to say my mother thought they were legit mind you she's in her 50s anyways they scammed both of us got both of our banks locked was very ignorant and rude and even asked us to go get a prepaid Mastercard from dollarama... NEVER GIVE OUT ANY USERNAME OR PASSWORD THEY DO NOT NEED ANY INFO TO GET A LOAN THEY CAN ETRANSFER YOU!!!

Talked to these people when they financed my vehicle. They assured me that at least 45% of my payments would go to principle of vehicle. Now after two years with no missed payments they say that if I want to pay the vehicle out I have to pay a thousand dollars more than the actual purchase price of the vehicle. I was willing to give them $10,000 to pay out the loan. No more payments and good luck ever repo-ing a vehicle that no longer exists.

Do not trust anyone at lendcare & anything you talk about get it in writing in an email & keep that email.
I am on wcb for over 1 year now & lendcare knows this, they offered to rewrite my 2 loans & give me 2 defetals 1 for April 2024 & 1 for may of 2024 as long as I made my first payment on march 25th 2024 giving me time to get back to work once off of wcb.
Now Harran ganendran says I never said that, I provided an email I kept where it shows that I would not be back working until June of 2024 & that Harran stated that I said I would not be back working until June of 2024 which is why Harran stated this will give you time to get back to work.
Now lendcare & Harran say no never said that.

in early March I called lendcare billing department & some woman answered the phone & as soon as I said I need to defer the payment she went off on me like I was her beneath her & as if I was her personal slave to berate yell & freak out on!!
Again DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU, THEY WILL TELL YOU LIES TO GET YOU HOOKED THEN MAKE UP MORE LIES TO CHEAT YOU!!!!

I’m another victim of there fraud don’t trust them they lied and rude

Stay away this people especially to Jeff and Vincent. They told me I was approved for 15k and ready to send the money via e transfer after I agreed to agreement. But Jeff asking me to go to Dollorama and they will transfer me the money to my bank. It's completely SCAM!!!!
ONE DAY THEY'RE PEOPLE WILLL JUDGE ACCORDING TO WHAT THEY DID. what you sow , you reap! Hopefully the law enforcement will do something for these bad people 👹👹👹

Regrettably, this company preys upon immigrants who lack established credit scores upon arriving in the country. They impose exorbitant interest rates ranging from 16% to 19% on vehicle loans, and arbitrarily modify installment terms at their whim, displaying a flagrant lack of professionalism when contacted. It is imperative to steer clear of such lenders, as their practices amount to nothing short of daylight robbery. Moreover, they seem to operate by a set of rules that conveniently shift post-loan acquisition. It is my fervent hope that no individual falls victim to their tactics, and I pledge to caution everyone I encounter against engaging with them

They get you're bank information like this Kevin Harrington THE SINIOR LOAN ADVISOR got me to send gift cards then after goes back into my account and takes a bunch of money out and I never got no loan they will lie to you and after will not answer you or will get there manager to answer and tell you to not call back cause we just screwed you over

They are loan sharks ,needed a loan of 19,000 and with all the hidden cost the loan was 28 ,9 thousand more then I wanted and the coast of borrowing it was 110% payback ,after 5 years of paying the loan at 600 a month the payout is more then I intened to borrow and if I don't have the 20 gran to pay them after 5 years it will be another 5 years of payments so in all it will cost 70,000 to borrow then 19 I wanted and 10 years to pay off ,sucks when all you have to read the fine print on is your phone and things get hidden ,don't ever get involved with this company, they own you for life
