Le Labo Fragrances was born in Grasse and raised in New York, the city where they opened their first boutique in 2006. The boutique was named Le Labo ("The Lab" in French), going back to the roots of perfumery and allowing clients to witness their fragrance being freshly hand-blended. J'ai commandé un produit. Jai été très rapidement prélevée. Je n'ai jamais reçu le produit. Je n'arrive à joindre personne. J'ai envoyé plusieurs mails, laissé plusieurs messages vocaux. Rien. Les frais de port sont exorbitants - 10€ - mais en plus on ne reçoit pas le produit. Injoignables. Cest scandaleux
Disappointed
Paid $120 for a candle wick trimmer it couldn't even cut a melted chocolate bar it's that blunt! Yes being sarcastic... They are refusing to refund me acting like they personally welded it for me in store or something with a hot fire when it says made in China. IT'S DEFECTIVE so I will open a dispute with my bank as this is not what I paid for. They think it's ok to send me a link that sales are final when I just spent $1,700 in the last 2 weeks on this brand. Bad taste in my mouth being a new customer to this brand!!!!

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to for this. The Le Labo team gave me such a great experience. Karen was seriously amazing. She helped me track down my package and kept me in the loop the whole time. What could’ve been stressful ended up being super easy because of her.
It’s little things like this that make me love the brand even more. Their customer service actually matches how good their products are, which isn’t always the case.
I’m still obsessed with The Matcha. it’s my favorite scent ever. This whole experience just made me even more loyal. Definitely recommend!

Received a broken sample
Received a broken sample from the discovery set and have been waiting over 2 weeks for a response from the emails I have sent. I am surprised that they didn't seem to take customer service more serious as I was purchasing the samples to eventually get a full size. Makes me not want to purchase online.
UPDATE - Rep got back to me and fixed the issue promptly. I am satisfied with my communication with the company and look forward to purchasing in the future

I've always had excellent experiences…
I've always had excellent experiences with Le Labo. Recently, I placed an online order that ended up getting lost. Despite some limitations, the customer service team was incredibly accommodating and kept me well informed throughout the process. Although I had to wait a bit, everything was resolved in the end.
My husband recently visited the Woodland location and absolutely loved the atmosphere. He mentioned that Austin was especially welcoming. Keep up the great work!

The after sale experience was excellent. First of all I did a mistake in the personalization, they were ready to send me back the stamp. Also I got defectuous product, Juan who was receiving my initial request, took over my complain and provide ultra rapid resolution sending working product with the actual modification.

Why All The Bad Reviews?
I had to remove one star because it took their concierge so long to respond to me initially.
I ordered their discovery kit hoping that all of their fragrances might smell as awesome as Another 13 does.
It took forever to ship. The issuing of the tracking number days before actually shipping the product is a bad call.
Once it finally shipped, it got lost somewhere but finally arrived. They let me keep it and issued a full refund.
That's what I would have done.
I'm surprised at the bad reviews here because I found the "concierge" to be pleasant. I am however, a bit fearful of purchasing a full bottle considering my previous experience.

I'm officially obsessed with this brand! I recently stopped by one of their locations and purchased Matcha26. From the moment I walked in, everyone was so welcoming and genuinely helpful. The team took their time answering my questions and made the whole experience feel personal and fun.
I also thought it was cool that they mentioned I can refill my bottles both instore and online.. such a convenient and sustainable option. Little details like that make me love the brand even more. I'll definitely be coming back!

I am absolutely in love with Le Labo’s Lys 41 From the very first time I wore it, I knew this scent was something special. Problème et résolution
3 Échantillons commandés le 02 février avec envoi par Colissimo. Ma commande est bloquée depuis le 5 février et aucune progression depuis. J'ai contacté le service client Le Labo car il doit entreprendre la démarche de contacter La Poste car le colis n’a toujours pas bougé depuis plus de 7 jours ouvrés, ce qui constitue un retard anormal.
Il doit mener une enquête officielle auprès de La Poste et de me tenir informée. Mais le service client ne me répond pas.
Si le colis est déclaré perdu, je demande un renvoi ou un remboursement intégral.
Mise à jour :
Le service client a remédié au problème après plusieurs mails et l'avis.
À noter que les produits sont de qualité.

Contacted the client service regarding a package I didn't receive, 1 month to have a response with 0 SOLUTION, I literally ordered a discovery set to know what I wanted, well I won't be buying here and glad I didn't order a perfume instead

Received the wrong product and it arrived broken. I contacted Le Labo’s concierge multiple times and never received a response. Very disappointing experience, especially for a luxury brand. Poor quality control and even worse customer service.

No return policy at all!
Bought a $340 (yep, not a typo) bottle for my wife because she was using a sampler. She wanted to return for another fragrance from Le Labo. I got this nice response from their "concierge" after a week..
Due to the fresh blending and hand compounding of our eau de parfum, all sales made at Le Labo are final.
Once our creations leave our labs they are not able to be restocked to be resold. This keeps us true to our commitment to sustainability and ensures our creations are not wasted.
The box was not even opened. Ridiculous.
I had a very disappointing experience…
I had a very disappointing experience with Le Labo, unfortunately surrounding what was meant to be a Christmas gift for my wife.
I purchased the Discovery Set gift box, and when my wife opened it on Christmas, the box was completely empty. For a premium brand, this was shocking and hugely disappointing—especially given the moment and expectations around a gift from Le Labo.
I contacted customer service immediately to report the issue and request a replacement. Despite multiple attempts, I received no meaningful response, and no replacement box was ever sent.
Being left without a resolution made an already embarrassing situation even worse.
Mistakes can happen, but what matters is how they’re handled. The lack of responsiveness and follow through from customer service has seriously impacted my perception of the brand. For the price point and reputation Le Labo holds, I expected far better.
I hope this review encourages improved quality control and customer support going forward.
