LEA Tuition is a tutoring centre based in Shipley, West Yorkshire, helping children to Learn, Excel and Achieve. We support students from Reception right through to A Level, offering high-quality tuition in English, Maths and Science. We understand that every child learns differently, which is why our approach is fully personalised. Before starting, every child completes a free 40–80 minute assessment, which allows us to understand their current ability, identify any gaps in learning, and create a tailored plan to support their progress. It also gives families the opportunity to meet our team and see our centre in action. Our sessions are delivered by fully qualified, experienced teachers in a calm and supportive environment. We work with children in small groups of no more than four students per tutor, while still ensuring each child receives individual one-to-one teaching within their session. This helps children feel comfortable, ask questions freely, and build confidence in their learning. We support a wide range of needs, including KS1 and KS2 foundations, SATs preparation, GCSE and A Level support, as well as 11+ entrance exams. Whether a child needs help catching up, building confidence, or pushing for higher grades, we adapt our teaching to suit them. At LEA Tuition, we pride ourselves on creating a positive learning environment where progress is monitored closely, feedback is shared regularly with parents, and every child is encouraged to reach their full potential. Many of our students come through recommendation, which reflects the trust families place in us and the results we help them achieve.

Excellent tuition, so pleased we found LEA.

My son started at LEA in February for support with his Maths GCSE exams. The initial assessment was well executed and allowed my son to be taught from an effective starting point.

All team members my son has worked with have been friendly and welcoming towards him and supportive when he was struggling with certain aspects. He was happy attending every session and spoke positively about staff explaining things so well that it just ‘clicked’ for him. The tracking of progress and next steps was clear so knowledge became embedded. The tuition he has received has certainly given him a confidence boost in his abilities.

I feel the team went above and beyond in their flexibility to offer additional sessions during half term holidays for children approaching exams which was much appreciated. The communication was brilliant too and the text reminders for upcoming sessions was very helpful.

LEA is conveniently located and allows for easy drop off and pick up with many local amenities while you wait for your child’s session to finish. Entry is via a locked entrance with buzzer/intercom entry which I appreciated.

Highly recommend LEA for anyone looking for tuition for their child. I’m so pleased we found LEA when we did and my son is excited to receive his results in August. Thank you so much LEA.

My daughter has been attending LEA for…

My daughter has been attending LEA for around 5 months in the build up to her GCSEs. The staff have been excellent and really welcoming. We have seen a noticeable difference in her grades which we are thrilled with. It’s definitely been worth the investment.
