An incredible company. Craftsmanship is superb and the oldest bag we have looks just as good 8 years later as the new music case that arrived today. I am so pleased with it. I asked for a shorter handle, two colours of leather and an inside pocket. No problem, and all completed from scratch in a couple of days. The company are a small family business who go out of their way every time to make sure your bag is just right for you. In the past I have asked for a wider gusset, different colours, and even for one of the styles to be adjusted to fit the back of my daughters wheelchair. All no problem at all for them and such lovely people too. Can’t recommend them highly enough!

I bought the Festival Satchel when I was in Liverpool for a conference. Two years later, when a gusset on the strap was loose, Shaun at The Leather Satchel Co responded immediately to organize shipping and a repair. Since my 1st purchase, I have added a 15-inch satchel for work and travel and an 11-inch classic satchel for every day.

All I can say is WOW…… I saw this bag and loved it… But there was a few little things I wanted… Shaun was fabulous writing every detail to make my bag extra special for me… nothing was any bother…. From extra length in the strap… compartment inside the bag ( for my fone/keys, to the colour, putting my name on the bag/choice of bucket/clasp!!! And it arrived in lovely box and dust bag…. And earlier than expected….. top class all round!

I ordered a satchel from The Leather Satchel Co for university and I have to say this bag surpassed all of my expectations. The leather is beautiful, the stitching flawless, and it’s exactly what I have been looking for for years. I can already tell it’s durable just from wearing it now, but I know of this companies abilities as my mums bought two bags within the past two years.
I’ve never owned a bag like this in my life and I’m just so pleased with it, I can’t wait to buy more in the future.
It’s also worth mentioning that the customer service is amazing. They got back to me very quickly and shipped far quicker than I expected. They were absolutely lovely and so helpful.
I just haven’t got a single bad thing to say!

I can't rate the company highly enough.They deserve 5+ stars!The craftmanship of the bags and the after sales service are excellent.I bought my daughter a large satchel in 2013 and it's still going strong.I have contacted them on 3 occasions for minor repairs (thread starting to unravel twice and a stud coming apart once) and each time they have arranged pick up and delivery of the bag and the repair has been done very quickly and the bag returned.They do not charge for this as the bags have a lifetime guarantee.How good is that?

Bought the festival Satchel. Great size, spoke to "shaun" via email and had bag made to spec. Great quality, I love bags and I'm confident this will age beautifully. It was a great price and the company were a pleasure to deal with. Everything arrived on time. Really nicely packaged with dust cover. I will definitely be back for further purchases.

I recently bought a large Union Jack backpack from Leather Satchel via Shaun (May 2021). He has been very helpful with the bespoke options to customise the look. It's not the cheapest. However, there are more expensive brands available. It arrived in a beautifully presented box 2 weeks after ordering. I have worn it to work for several weeks now & it is unusually confortable for a leather bag. This may have something to do with the the back straps central design. It goes without saying that the Union Jack & embossing of name has attracted a lot of positive comments from colleagues to the point that some of them may make an order as well. I would definitely recommend this purchase. If I have some suggestions it would be: to consider an option of having an insert into the backpack for compartmentalisation i.e. bottle, pen, keys etc & to respond to emails within 24 hrs. FS

I was looking for a satchel and had been investigating another company when I happened to see The Leather Satchel Company on the TV programme’ Made in Britain’. I was impressed with their ethos and the fact that they were in Liverpool near where I now live. A visit to the shop resulted in the purchase of the most gorgeous racing green satchel with gold hardware and to say I am so proud of it is an understatement. The icing on the cake is I asked for a 22” carry strap so that I could carry in the crook of my arm when necessary and it was duly made and posted to me! Fabulous service from lovely people. I spotted a gorgeous satchel with a Union Jack print at the UK Pavilion while at Epcot at Disney World, and really wanted it, but didn't want to carry it around on the park that day. I found the website but couldn't easily find that particular bag, so I emailed customer service. Shaun wrote me back quickly and was so friendly and helpful, directing me to all of the bags available with this print. I selected my 11 inch satchel and ordered it (for a significantly lower price than the Disney markup price) before realizing I could add on options like snap closures. I contacted Shaun and was able to make this change quickly and easily.

I received the bag a few days ago and to say that it is high quality is an understatement. It's gorgeous and arrives in a beautiful box with its own bag. The leather is clearly the highest quality. I will certainly be buying other bags in other different colors and sizes. The prices are very reasonable for this level of quality, shipping to the US was free (!), and I love to support companies with top-notch customer service.

Briefcase arrived this morning professionally packaged and with no damage. The bag was customised to suit my requirements and everything was completed as requested. The team double checked my requirements by personal email and phone calls before the bag was made so no disappointment at all and everything was was made exactly as requested. Plus I received an extra treat in a lovely card case to match! The quality and finish to the bag is beautiful. A bag to be proud of and to one to keep by me for the next stage of my career.

With the return to the office soon, I would certainly recommend the briefcases for anyone looking to treat themselves. If carrying a laptop, I would opt for a large size to allow plenty room for other items too!
