I am an absolute beginner with ZERO background or knowledge in Voice Over Work. I needed something that had everything in 1 spot that built a solid foundation. The academy gave a comprehensive overview of everything you need to get started, with a specific focus on how to go from being completely uninvolved to taking your first steps in the field. It contains what your first steps should be, some of the pitfalls you want to avoid, where to look to book jobs, and essential knowledge that you will be expected to possess (including both the electronics and the vocals necessary).

Joe Zieja's Learn Voice Acting course was a great introduction to voice acting-- not only techniques, but the technical and business aspects of the field as well.

The content was delivered in short videos (under 10 minutes each), which is great for learning in bite-sized chunks, which is great for fitting into a busy schedule.

When I say "I'm just starting out", I cannot express just how little (zero) I knew about the VO industry, let alone all the ins and outs of casting websites, gear, the auditioning and demo process, I KNEW NOTHING!
