Deceptive business practices
I was a 2023 participant in the Torrinha Artist Residency, which was managed at the time by João Camps, also the owner of Leafco. Included in the expenses for the residency were some very poorly organized activities provided by Leafco. Myself and the other artists in residence were provided false information about the residency, and João Camps actively lied to us on multiple occasion. We had limited ability to change our situation because we had paid for the residency upfront. Some of the residents shared well deserved negative reviews. These reviews were taken down, we were blocked from the residency's instagram account and our security deposits were confiscated for alleged "defamation". Be aware that many of the positive reviews for Camps' multiple businesses are not real customers. We have also heard reports of internal issues with his businesses, including wage theft.

A relaxing experience
I strongly recommend this experience if you're in need of a break. Meditating while surrounded by nature was an incredibly peaceful experience that made me feel relaxed and more in touch with myself and my surroundings.

Great community
Great community, safe, welcoming and with activities that enrich my wellbeing and ultimately my life. I have been in your events for the 2 time and one thing that I feel you stand out is the like-minded people with great vibe and energy you are able to attract to these events.

My team and I loved our experience
What a great welcome to Porto by LeafCo Portugal! We were definitely positively impacted in terms of wellness awareness, meeting people and relaxing. The activities were great mix of education and having a break from "outside world". Definitely coming again, thank you!

Coming to a new place
Coming to a new place, I found meeting with new people a bit difficult. Leafco helped me a lot with that and besides that I also learned some tips to improve my mental health. So it was a win-win for me!

What a fabulous experience
After being worn down with work. I decided to take some time out and attend some of Leafco’s workshops.
I had a great time meeting like-minded people in a safe and relaxing atmosphere. I now feel fully recharged. I throughly recommend this to anyone who needs to reboot their life.

Scam
I was a resident of Artist Residency Torrinha which is run by the same people as LeafCo in the period from feb-jun 2023. As part of my the residency program, we were promised to get one tour by LeafCo monthly. During 5 months, they gave me 2 tours. One of them was really unprofessional, in the end of it, the guide did something she called meditation with us. It was about 2 minutes of random instructions while standing in the crowded and loud park.
When I and other residents reached them with complaints and also proposal for solution to the situation, they refused to make things right and stopped communicating with us.

Enjoyable and uplifting
Ah, that was a warm welcome in Porto! :)
The meditation and experientials were enjoyable and very grounding. I learnt some things about myself, and I came out of the event feeling relaxed and uplifted. Recommended!

What a beautiful place. My stay here really helped me reset. I met lots of likeminded people that were there for a digital detox, hung out and relaxed. I’d highly recommend for anyone looking to recharge!
