A rare gem

Incredible! At last, a company managed by real people, real human beings with an acute sense of service. My fibre connexion was organized, installed and running within 48 hours of my initial call. Mr Costa, my contact, absolutely delivered on everything he promised. AND the connexion is excellent. Bravo Lazer, I'm glad I found you.

Reliability, Speed, and good Technical Service

I’ve been using Lazer Telecom for over a few years, and the service has been rock solid. Unlike my previous Telecom provider, I haven’t experienced a single unexpected outage (if there were issues, they allways found a solution), and the speeds consistently match what was promised in my plan. Whether I’m gaming, streaming in 4K, or working from home, the connection is seamless. If you’re looking for a provider that actually delivers on its speed claims, I highly recommend them.

First Class Service 👏

Thank you Shalom & Tony for giving your immediate attention to reconnecting my parents’ landline which was out of order last Friday afternoon. They are elderly and live on the 6th floor so not having a phone line to communicate can cause great stress. Within 2 hours, the issue was identified, Tony had called and resolved the issue. My mother also commented on Tony’s pleasant manner. Thank you for your kindness & understanding. It means a lot to us all.

Best fiber supplier in Algarve

For me, it's hard to find a better supplier to host my fiber and wifi around my property with 3 houses and a big lover of the Sonos system. Lazer helps me out with everything, and they're coming on time.

I just can't recommend them enough for their great service they provide.

Unreliable Service and Poor Customer Support/Serviço Instável e Atendimento Insatisfatório

I started experiencing serious connection issues with Lazer Telecom after what they called an infrastructure update. Instead of improving, my service became worse with constant disconnections. I reported it, but it was brushed off and ignored.

Due to being abroad, I had some delays in payment, but when they contacted me, I immediately cleared all outstanding balances in full. I have complete proof through my bank. Despite paying everything as they asked, they still disconnected my service without any further warning a week later.

It was extremely rude and unprofessional. If you ask a customer to pay and they do, there should be no reason to punish them afterward. This is not acceptable behavior for any serious company.

They also claimed they had sent me additional warnings, but when I requested proof, they could not provide anything. One of their own employees even admitted that their email system often has glitches. Since restoring the service, I have had no further issues, which raises even more doubts about their previous excuses.

I have already filed a formal complaint with the appropriate authorities. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend staying away from Lazer Telecom. There are far better providers in Portugal who treat customers with respect and transparency.

Comecei a ter sérios problemas de conexão com a Lazer Telecom depois do que eles chamaram de atualização de infraestrutura. Em vez de melhorar, o serviço piorou com constantes quedas de internet. Relatei o problema, mas foi ignorado.

Por estar no exterior, houve um pequeno atraso no pagamento. Assim que fui contactado, paguei imediatamente todas as faturas em aberto. Tenho prova completa através do meu banco. Apesar de ter pago tudo conforme solicitado, a empresa desligou o meu serviço uma semana depois, sem qualquer aviso adicional.

Foi extremamente rude e pouco profissional. Se um cliente paga a dívida conforme pedido, não há justificativa para desconectá-lo depois. Esse tipo de atitude é inaceitável para uma empresa séria.

A empresa também alegou que me enviou avisos adicionais, mas não apresentou nenhuma prova quando pedi. Um funcionário chegou a admitir que o sistema de email deles tem falhas frequentes. Desde a reativação do serviço, não tive mais problemas, o que gera ainda mais dúvidas sobre as justificativas apresentadas.

Já apresentei uma queixa formal junto às autoridades competentes. Com base na minha experiência, recomendo fortemente que evitem a Lazer Telecom. Existem fornecedores muito melhores em Portugal que tratam os clientes com respeito e transparência.

In response to Lazer Telecom’s public reply: I want to clarify that I did not use a foreign bank account. My payments were made from a Portuguese bank, and I have proof of this.

It is disappointing that Lazer Telecom continues to provide inaccurate information publicly. Due to their behavior, I have formally escalated my case through the Livro de Reclamações platform and submitted a complaint to ANACOM (Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações).

I encourage others to exercise caution based on my experience. Misrepresentation of facts and lack of accountability are not the signs of a trustworthy provider.

Em resposta à resposta pública da Lazer Telecom: gostaria de esclarecer que não utilizei uma conta bancária estrangeira. O pagamento foi feito a partir de um banco português, e tenho provas disso.

É lamentável que a Lazer Telecom continue a divulgar informações imprecisas. Devido a este comportamento, formalizei uma queixa através do Livro de Reclamações e já apresentei reclamação à ANACOM (Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações).

Recomendo cautela a outros consumidores com base na minha experiência. A falta de transparência e responsabilidade não são características de um fornecedor de confiança.

We would like to clarify that multiple communications were sent to you regarding your outstanding invoices before any service interruption occurred. As a service provider, it is our responsibility to inform customers of their billing status, and we take that seriously. However, it is equally the customer's responsibility to ensure timely payment, especially with an ongoing contracted service.

In your case, the payment was made from an non Portuguese bank account, and due to international banking processing times, the funds only reached our Portuguese account several days later. Unfortunately, by that time, the service suspension had already been scheduled automatically, as per our policy.

We understand that being abroad may have caused some delays, and we do acknowledge your effort to settle the balance once contacted. However, we must operate based on the actual date the payment clears, not the date it's initiated, to ensure fairness and consistency across all customers.

We stand by the integrity of our communication process, and we strive to provide clear and timely notifications. While you mentioned that no proof of further warnings was available, we can confirm that all notifications were issued as per our procedures. We are continuously improving our systems and take note of your comments regarding email reliability.

We are proud to be a trusted provider for thousands of clients across Algarve, many of whom have switched to Lazer Telecom after disappointing experiences with other providers. One of the things that sets us apart is our commitment to real, human customer support — not automated responses/robots — and many of our clients value that highly.

We’re sorry that your experience did not reflect our usual standards and are always open to discussing concerns directly with our team to reach a constructive solution.

The quality is beneath any form of…

The quality is beneath any form of acceptance. We have received numerous letters that they are working on the problem. It’s either a storm in the north or amla is to blame, meanwhile no form of compensation. Furthermore we called numerous times sent emails. But up to now still picxelations and other very irritating images.

Poor service

Despite a number of calls and emails for over a month, Lazer has not been able to deliver close to the 100mbps speed via "Air Fibre". Des, the CEO, just dismisses the issue by referring back to the Help Desk. The Help Desk does not respond. during the evening, i am lucky to get 20Mbps!

Internet rápida lenta a reconhecer os erros

Contactei a Lazer Telecom para ver a possibilidade de contratar o seu serviço de Internet de alta velocidade. Um vendedor, o Sérgio, veio visitar-me depois de terem confirmado que me podiam fornecer este serviço. Explicou-me que estávamos fora da área de cobertura direta, mas que com uma antena direcional seria possível. Fizemos a assinatura, pagámos o custo da antena e combinámos um débito direto para a mensalidade. Na semana seguinte, o engenheiro veio ao local e disse que não era possível fornecer o serviço. Com uma formação adequada da equipa de vendas, esta situação poderia ter sido evitada. Estamos agora a tentar recuperar o nosso dinheiro para as antenas, sem qualquer sucesso. O mínimo que podiam ter feito era devolver o dinheiro depois do erro que cometeram. Mas nada. Nenhum pedido de desculpas. O vendedor não entrou em contacto, a secção de contabilidade está em silêncio e quanto à gerência, bem, devem estar todos de férias! É preciso ter cuidado ao utilizar esta empresa. No local certo, não temos dúvidas de que podem prestar um serviço, mas a sua comunicação pós-contrato deixa muito a desejar.

3 weeks ago there was a Lazer sales team here in Foral/Algoz who called everyone at the entrance gate and said that new fiber optic cables were being made to Foral.......

 
I researched this on the Internet so it wasn't FibreAir, so it wasn't a cable but a directional beam from Paderne to Paderne Foral, then I asked by email whether at least 10 downloads and 5 uploads were pending. Main times Roushour was possible via your Airfibre, then Lazer replied that at least 30 down and 10 uploads were possible.

 
2 weeks ago the seller was here, he left, to look at the garden, said the trees are no problem and we made contract for 2 years, After that I saw that wrong location in the contract and sent email to seller

but unfortunately had to warn/reminder him and the agency by email until I finally received an answer and correction.

 
1 week ago the installer was here with 2 people to install the directional antenna and router, after 5 minutes both said I have no chance because too many trees are with me and neighbors and the hill between Paderne Sender and here is I could try to cut down my trees and those of the neighbors!!! and I said and just remove the hill......?!

He said if enough people are interested in Foral then maybe they could make glass phaser cables on it I said probably not because I'm sure as reliable as your salesman is lying and only thinking about selling....

 
My Opinion, the salesman only saw the sales despite my inquiries just not properly explained to us/told untruth.....

 
I'm still waiting in vain for a clear confirmation of the cancellation of our contract, let alone an apology for lies, my activities and wasted time, should I not receive a cancellation confirmation within a week I will claim these online via the beautiful Red Claims Book.

 
By the way, I have now made Starlink/SpaceX Internet and I am very satisfied!!
