My lawn is always completed as contracted. They are on schedule, and complete all expected tasks. Clean up nicely too.

Been using Lawnstarter for 4 years now and I could not be more pleased with the service. Have had the same lawn service for 3 of those 4 years. You schedule they show up and do the job, they let you know they are done and you pay. Love Lawnstaryer and Pride lawn service.

Very disappointed. The “pro” did not finish the job on the first day; they cut the front but not the back. No explanation was given. I was promised that they would complete the work on the next weather compliant day. Spoiler: they did not. They instead rescheduled to another day. Lawnstarter customer service seems to think that by giving me a discount, this absolves them and allows them to string me along. I do not recommend.

Had okay success using this app/site for regular lawnmowing- main concern was the app being buggy or rejecting my card for seemingly no reason (might be my bank?) however, when I attempted to use their one time service options I had a shady experience.

The process was supposed to be that I put a budget out there for a service (not sure how I’m supposed to know what the going rate is) then the provider either accepts it or charges more. I think this sets you up to pay more than you should but that’s not really the problem I had. When my regular provider showed up to do my weekly cut he went ahead and performed the service at the rate I had put in the quote, even this wouldn’t have annoyed me since he accepted my max I was willing to pay and didn’t charge me more. LAWNSTARTER however, added an additional 40% onto the final bill meaning that I had unwittingly paid an extra 40% more than the highest amount I was willing to pay.

I’ll be canceling my weekly service, obviously, but thought I should warn others of the insanely high backend fee you’ll be charged after the service is complete.

Derrek did a great job! I’m stuck inside with Covid and I’m grateful for all the hard work he did. Our lawn is big and it looks great. Thank you 😊

Corey was polite, he actually came a day early which was great so my yard would be done for the weekend. He communicated with me via text because I was initially unavailable, but we were able to talk and brainstorm the vision for the yard until I came home!

Scheduled first service on 13 June. 8 days later my lawn wasn't mowed and there was no communication. I cancelled before hearing more lies from the fake "company." They are only collecting credit card info and personal info, not providing lawn care.

This review is simply a summary of my experience. What's unacceptable is how you call yourself a business and conduct yourself in this manner. This is apparently how you guys operate and I'm not interested in having any further lies communicated to me in any way. This is the worst "company" I have *ever* dealt with in my life. I wish I would have checked all of the online reviews rather than your website and I would have avoided all of this since they are mostly negative. I have screenshots, a full text history to prove all of this. The proof simply lies in the pudding. You all made empty promises for a week straight but never mowed my lawn. The excuses I was given were so fake and unclear, the first time the guy just wasn't able to do it and I wasn't given a reason why at all. And I was informed that evening he was supposed to be there like duh of course he's not going to be here today it's dark already. The second time the guy canceled and I wasn't told anything until I realized my lawn wasn't getting mowed that day either. I had to reach out to customer service the next afternoon to find out that he wasn't going to mow it. No communication yet again. The last time the third person canceled and also I was not informed until I contacted customer service Friday evening. That was when it was scheduled for Thursday and I was lied to on Thursday and told that if he wasn't there that day he would be there the next day. I was lied to for a week straight by your so-called customer service department. You guys have no concern about anything clearly. You guys have absolutely no interest in providing lawn care, that's for sure. But I sure didn't have the option to *delete* my credit card info, only *update* it with another valid card. Interesting how that works even after I canceled my account . I'm glad I never became an actual customer because it was a nightmare enough just trying to be one.

YOU HAVE NOT E-MAILED ME, STOP THE LIES. I e-mailed you at this address three times just to see what fluff you'd throw at me and you never responded so stop POSING online. You are only replying here to save face and it doesn't work. I checked my spam folder as well, no responses.

David did a great job in our lawn. He was very punctual and arrived at the time he committed. He responded quickly whenever I had inquiries.
Communication was easy and scheduling with Lawn Starter was quick and easy. I will recommend them to our friends and neighbors.

Patrick did an absolutely AMAZING job!!! He went over and above our expectations. He mowed the yard very evenly. He edged the entire yard. He left NO mess. He is just incredible!!!!

Quick and efficient crew. They finished my front and back yard in about 30 minutes. They clean up really well too.
My contact is very open with communication and even gives me tips so I don't get overcharged for long grass/extra work. Very honest, I respect that.

Monica and her team communicate well with their schedule to mow our lawn and keep us apprised when Mother Nature throws a kink in the works. They are professional and eager to please their customers. We definitely recommend them!
