Alan Wallaker and Joe Manns-Benson piloted us through the purchase of our home in the Kent countryside with great skill and persistence. It wasn't the easiest job for several reasons: we were buying from abroad so needed an expat mortgage, it was a new build, and construction got delayed. As a UK citizen based in the US trying to buy a buy-to-let in London, I was introduced to Caroline Burke (by my brother who'd successfully used Caroline to secure a property in France) as a last chance saloon.

I had exhausted dealing directly with banks & other brokers, got deep into to the process with one only for them to say at the last minute the lender wouldn't deal with the development I was trying to invest in (which they knew in advance) ... and really this was the last roll of the dice.
