The battery was delivered in good timing, with the communication regarding delivery very clear.
I gently installed the battery and left it to charge for the night. Turned on the laptop in the morning and YAY, life is grand.

Delivery could not be better, great prices. Even came with drivers to remove screws. With Acer dont forget to reset the batt percentage calibration via little pin hole on back. Has a battery symbol next to it. Paper clip in hole for 30 seconds with laptop turned off.

Plugged in straight away and had 50%…
It plugged in straight away and had 50% (I think) charge. Plugged it into the mains and was charging straight away.
Booted the laptop up and it works fine. Now has a full charge.
I have 2 more laptops with the same problem so all should be good in a few days.
