Lanterna Education Omdömen

Ms. Aruj was one hands down of the best teachers I could ask for during my MYP journey.

In subjects such as IDU and Personal Project where nothing seemed to make sense, she always made sure to thoroughly explain everything by going an extra mile. Her teaching style is both interactive and engaging which I found it to be one of the best ways to make sure a student understands a topic. I was able to secure a 6/7 in both IDU and Personal Project which could not have been done without her help!

I recommend her to others as she's a fantastic teacher!

Miss Arooj was the one of the best teachers I’ve ever had, my experience throughout as a student with her was entirely based on sincerity, joy, and love and a lot other aspects. It wasn’t just a student-teacher relationship but she always had mother like figure for me, her constant support for me always made me more confident. The times when I felt giving up she was the one who told me to give my best and she always has been there for me. I’ve known her since forever, the first day she came I was in grade 2 and she was the best thing that ever happened truly. She never was just a teacher and a friend but someone who played many other roles. She always brought the best in me and her classes were fun and memorable. She has a very important role in my life and a major role in shaping me today. I couldn’t be more grateful to have her.

The tutors are amazing. They are kind and supportive. Most importantly they are passionate and patient.

The tutor that I was laird with greatly helped me, and has not only taught me a lot but cemented my understanding in a variety of topics and my grades have improved from a 5 form a 7 as a result.

Very professional and helpful, we will continue asking for your help.....

Quality of teachers, support in case of any kind of issue and most importantly commitment to the profession.

My experience so far has been great.
My Chemistry tutor Aarush Kumar has really helped me improve in Chemistry and is really helpful.
He has helped me understand difficult topics, and he designs the lessons very clear, so I am able to follow everything he says.
The service of lanterna is really great, as well. It is very easy to book lessons and new packages, as well as finding helpful resources.

Great service when it comes to finding suitable tutors for ones individual needs. Would highly recommend Patricia Nistor, she has a great teaching style and is exceptionally knowledgable.

I had a great experience with Pratik Surani. He was very helpful for my IB chemistry course. He was very good at going though all the content which really helped with understanding.

The experience has been highly educational, professional, and deeply encouraging. The availability and expertise of the tutors were absolutely fantastic; they have a remarkable ability to restore motivation in students who need to retake their exams.

I loved working with Lanterna! Not only are the people working there very experienced and the quality of education is great, but they are also incredibly kind and helpful. Especially Francis Latusek and Ania Habibi were amazing. You first get a free consultation, discussing what subjects you need help in and what your goals are. Then, a list of suitable tutors is sent to you, from which you can choose from. If you end up noticing in your lessons that this tutor is not the right choice, you can switch tutors at any time. However, in my consultation, Francis got a good idea of what kind of tutor was an excellent fit for me. I chose Ania Habibi, who is an IB Examiner for English A and I was incredibly happy with my choice. She was exceptionally knowledgeable and my work greatly improved. Additionally, she was extremely kind and supportive, allowing my confidence to increase tremendously. Therefore, if you need help with English A, I can only recommend Ania! It was truly an amazing experience to work with her as she made lessons interactive and enjoyable. Finally, it is important to note that even after my consultation Francis Latusek continuously checked in on me, being incredibly supportive and helpful!

Lanterna was always there to address any questions I had regarding changing tutors to better suit my needs. I am also very happy that Lanterna paired me up with Patricia Nistor for maths tutoring as she was very helpful, organised and constantly pushing me to do my best when tackling challenging questions. Not only did she explain concepts I did not fully understand but she also helped me gain more confidence in my myself and my math abilities.

I worked with Isabelle for my biology HL internal assessment. She was extremely helpful and provided feedback for every section.

very good tutoring improved what we were working on by making me think differently!

I’ve had a really positive experience with Lanterna, especially with Patricia Nistor as my economics tutor. Patricia’s teaching was tailored to my needs, well organised, and also adaptable depending on what I needed help with. Her teaching has really helped improve both my confidence and understanding of the subject.

Very focused on personal requests, kind, and helped a lot.

Catherine Spooner is honestly the best and most supportive English tutor I could ask for. She has completely personalised our lessons to target my individual areas of weakness, helping improve both my skills and my academic confidence. Her teaching style is incredibly encouraging, and patient, always ensuring that I fully understand each concept before moving on. Since working with Catherine, my English grades have improved drastically, and I am currently holding a predicted 7, a grade I genuinely do not think I could have achieved without her guidance and support. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional tutor who is both knowledgeable and genuinely invested in her students’ success.

Even though we started our tutoring sessions on short notice, they were very helpful, and I appreciated how flexible and patient shwe was, especially when accommodating my schedule and ideas for the content in the sessions. The practice questions we did really helped immensely and made it much easier to do proper revision. She was very open to my suggestion for revision content to go through in our sessions. She is truly amazing!

Would absolutely recommend using lanterna, have used it for the last few weeks the tutors have all been fantastic in preparing me for final exams

The tutors are extremely competent, friendly, and flexible. Furthermore, Laterna always responds to emails very quickly and strives to do their very best.
