Lambeth council you need to realy take a good look at the way you treat your tenants , its an absolute disgrace, try to get repairs done is a thing of the past and as for getting a hold of someone to ask for repairs it a joke my wife has spent hours and hours just ringing up because you don't show up to do repairs then we have to chase you constantly which is a nightmare itself , you realy havent got any idea how much stress you but on people at all cus you just dont give a toss , IF YOU NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR JOB STEP ASIDE AND LET SOMEONE ELSE DO IT .

We have been living in Lambeth for 8 years now. Unfortunately, we have been made homeless after our private renting landlord told us he has to demolish his property. Its been nearly three years we have been in different temporary accommodations and I wanted to say how awful, horrible, and rude some of the housing officers arez especially those in the placement team. I had no idea how for all these years they have kept their jobs with their aggressive, rude, discriminatory behaviour. But now after making a complaint and getting a reply from Lambeth, I have now realised they are all one team. From the housing officers ro managers to the directors to the councillors, they are all on the same page. Look at you as if you are inferior to them and play around with you just the way they want.

Honestly did not think I'd find a council worse than Wandsworth council, then I moved to Lambeth. 1 star is generous.

Got a Penalty Charge Notice while carrying out my NHS duties. They discarded my appeal on the basis the signs 'clearly' stated it was within Lambeth Borough, there were no signs and the information online says otherwise as well, stating the road is under Wandsworth borough which I do have a valid estate permit for. They make it very difficult to establish where the boundaries are, the website is useless.

The road is empty most of the time, no harm was done on this occasion but clearly they have no sense of reason or compassion. They then have the cheek to send out surveys to Lambeth residents asking for feedback.

I would not mind if they at least invested the money into better infrastructure and bike storage. I raised this in the appeal and they just signpost me to the website. I have lost track of the months waiting for a space in a bike hangar.

These people just want money, no concern for residents or NHS staff or anyone.

I have been waiting for a repair to a leaking roof since March First excuses all to do with covid then they are to busy and not urgent even though it is damaging their property. Next it had gone to their famous back room to have the estimate authorised even though they had not been to inspect. Then the job had been completed without even coming to my property and now they have stated the job was done on another flat
I have since been given a new job number and they were supposed to be coming today to inspect they did not turn up I telephoned the council and was told that the new contractor Wates had passed the job onto another sub contractor and did not know when they will come, they will be in touch.
I will not hold my breath

Has to be the worst council in the UK.
Everyone likes to moan about their council, but Lambeth council make all other councils look like a utopia.

Most expensive council tax in the UK, most unsafe area within the central London congestion zone, the most unclean London parks, the most uneducated and impolite public workers.
Go to Jubilee Gardens, anywhere around Waterloo, it’s especially unclean and rife with disorder compared to any other borough.

Do your best to NOT live here, put your money elsewhere. The council is doing a brilliant job of driving out decent residents who pay the price of visitor’s littering and anti-social behaviour - which is most welcome across Lambeth.

I hate Lambeth housing irresponsible council treating people like animals leaving then in uninhabitable accommodation.
Ruining lives they are the demise of the community.

I have been trying to book a bulky waste collection (for a sofa) online

I filled out the form, but when i got to the "book a date" section, no dates come up. Your online booking system isn't working.

I have also tried calling you and gave up after 20 minutes of waiting on hold.

I then emailed your waste team and got a reply saying they'll get back to me within 10 days!

I urgently need to book a collection please for Friday 2nd July

What kind of country spawned this piece of crap called ( Lambeth council) I entered the bus lane on my bike, it was an hour drive I was tired, vechicles Infront of me, incoming on my right filtered on the left had to keep enough distance which ment being on the bus lane(partially) after explaining all this they still insisted on me paying the pcn, if I was incharge of this country you scum would all be in prison for corruption

Lambeth Parking services have been a total nightmare, they insult customers, make inappropriate remarks and do not follow correct working protocol.

The complaints team seem to be unable to resolve customer queries either.

Lambeth have not been working smart or professional for some time, they have employed too many of the wrong staff, this is what seems to be happening now, the good staff stay quiet as not to get involved in the mess and the public at large are having to deal with the nonsense drama that comes out of these places.

Getting in contact is extremely difficult, and most attempts via phone or email are unanswered. Functions like a true bureaucracy, people are nice and helpful to an extent but there is no connection between various departments and everything needs to be dealt with by another team. Extremely frustrating to deal with for anything to do with parking, parking suspensions, council tax, rubbish collection. Costs a fortune in comparison to neighbouring suburbs.

Lambeth is neglectful and does not care for anyones well being including children. And they disxriminate with people with disabilities

Worst council in the UK. My house has been freezing since January. I have called many times the engineer came once saw what needed to be done and then disappeared. I have been waiting 5 months for someone to call me back. All they care about is you paying your rent. Anything eles they don’t care. Basically fraud

I can't believe I have reported three separate crime incidents that concern me as a victim of crime in Lambeth within the last few weeks. I feel I am living out an episode in Madmax, and I am even hearing the Tina Turner song from Mad Max playing in my head. You know the song, We don't need another hero tra li la la la . While the local Police have been simply amazing and supporting, the Borough sucks; crooks and anti-social behaviour is rampant, and there is no holding back. If you are thinking of moving to Lambeth and more so if you are looking to live in a peaceful neighbourhood and with a low-level crime area, please do not come to Lambeth, please take my advice, and I know what I am talking about I live in Lambeth?

Just awful. The parking department in particular should be sent to the scrapyard and recycled. I tried to appeal a PCN and the evidence upload limit is not large enough to allow normal sized photos and then once I shrunk the images to an acceptable size and submitted the appeal it said the uploads failed. This added to the fact it took them 3 months to accept my parking permit change of address and meant my car had to be left the other side of Lambeth over this period. Parking department is impossible to contact as well so no help there. No idea where my extortionate council tax is going but i'm sure whoever has it is having a great time!

If i could give Lambeth council a zero i would.
In fact i really should be charging lambeth for this review for wasting even more of my time.

I don't think there is one single department that actually functions Properly. And certainly not adequately to which they are supposed to.

My complaint today. of which there are many, is regarding their online PCN payments.

They ARE the ONLY establishment, That DO NOT preset cookies on any device to allow online payments.
Their instructions to help in this manner are a total failure and a total waste of time.

I can only assume that Lambeth council is governed and run by backward monkeys. The reason i use the word 'Backward monkeys' Is because, If it were ran by normal Monkeys The system would at least, have half a chance and be done better than the existing human element. Essuming there is one

Not happy at all with their service my friend had no heating or hot water with her two children at home and nobody came out until a week later. No help over the phone they was supposed to give her electric heaters and didn’t turn up.

Honestly an awful experience all round, with awful communication and has completely destroyed any faith I have Lambeth Council. I know its Covid and you are short staff but come on

What a bunch of snakes there my kids bedroom ceiling leaks and has been for 14 years they send plumbers but not pipe related they have refused to replace 3 mattresses that were ruined because apparently its mother nature now we are sueing lambeth for not rectifying the problem cant wait to get out of lambeth and out of london

Have been left 4 days with a disabled child with severe asthma with no heating or hot water with a boiler leaking onto electrics they have sent 2 people to take pictures and thats it have been so rude to me
