I bought a pound of Chrysanthemum flowers and it was just horrible they were grey and brown and were moldy and stuck together they were also hard as a rock and sticky. I reached out to them and no replies. Can't sell any products that include Chrysanthemum so production has stopped for now until I get a good source of the flowers. Im really pissed off. Either replace it with a good product of Chrysanthemum flowers or refund me my money!!

I would give this scam business a zero star if I could. I ordered Black mulberries back in May of 2025 . I emailed the a month after to check the status and they responded indicating that the order is being processed . I actually forgot about the order until yesterday July 17th 2026!!! I logged in to their website and the order showed "unfulflled". They don't have a phone number and rarely do they respond to emails. I called my cc company and disputed the charge. I will be reporting to the California attorney generals office for further invesitigation.

Very poor customer service. They don’t even respond to their emails regarding product issues. Wish I had known about their reviews before I started ordering from them but that’s my fault for not checking them.
Needless to say I doubt they’ll ever respond or bother replacing the products I bought. I’m very disappointed in them. I wouldn’t recommend buying anything from them until they learn customer service is the key to success.
I ordered Whole Olive Leaf and received cut & sifted leaves. My business relies on whole herbs. An expensive lesson nonetheless!

LOUSY COMPANY!! AVOID!!! Product arrived broken. I reached out to customer service immediately and it's been 6 days without a reply. I'm now contacting my bank traverse the charge.

The item I needed was difficult to find online but L.A.Herb had it, and for a good price so I ordered it. Only after doing so did I look up reviews and saw both good and very bad ones, but…

I have to say my experience was very good. Their website says it can take up to 7 days for an order to leave their shop, and it took that long in my case, even though the shipping label was created 3 or 4 days before it went out… but the item got here very quickly after that, was what I ordered and was high quality and in perfect condition.

La herb scammed me and I emailed them multiple times. My order supposed to have arrived on the 6th of May.

I ordered quite a bit from this company and then read the bad reviews. After reading them, I was really nervous that my almost $200 was gone and contacted them right away stating that I believed they were a scam company and I was ready to cancel and file a complaint. They were quick to respond to my concerns and I did receive all of my items in a timely manner, even though some were out of stock and were shipped separately. The items were all of good quality with no complaints. I recently placed another larger order and am hoping for a great experience the second time around as well. I will review that purchase once I receive it.

Places an order. Received a confirmation number. In one week my order arrived. No hassles and no issues! I would order from them again!!

It is rare that I write reviews at all but I just want to save other people's time and money if possible. As a long time employee at an herb farm that sells herbs, I guess I just assumed other herbal businesses would have the same quality of communication that I'm used to. First, I never received an order confirmation. I am aware that it's possible that I made a typo in my email address so when I couldn't find anything in my email from LA Herb after placing my order and being charged, I emailed them asking if they could send an order confirmation. I also asked if I could get a COA. I never heard back. I wrote again after a few weeks asking if there were tracking updates. No response. After at least two weeks (maybe 3, I don't remember for sure), I got my order. The herbs look good. But it did not come with a COA, lot number, or origin info. So I wrote the again asking for a COA or at least lot number, origin, and harvest date. I never received any response. I used some of the herbs since I really needed them for a product but I have decided not to use the rest as I just don't feel comfortable making products without knowing where they come from and when they were harvested. I will definitely not purchase here again.

I never received my order.
It was returned to sender, so the company knows it was not received.
Company is unresponsive to all communication.

The first time I placed an order with La Herb was back in November 2025 . Yes it took a long time. Yes they did not respond to emails but when I received my order, I was extremely happy. The herbs were fresh. They tasted delicious. They make wonderful teas. I placed the second order March 2026 . I got my order twice as fast. It's not a scam. You will be really happy with your herbs. Patient is a virtue.

I ordered a lb of mimosa pudica herb and received a bag that looked like a bunch of random sticks, dirt and mulch. Not at all like pictured. It looks like somebody just grabbed some dirt and sticks and maybe some roots out of the ground and put it in a bag. Not cleaned or food grade at all! Zero response from customer support. Just wasted money.

I came here after I ordered because it was taking longer than expected and was so nervous because of the reviews I literally panicked and thought my money was flushed down the toilet. But my order came fully accurate, all herbs authentic, and the prices and packaging were amazing. I ordered small sizes to try out the company and the resealable bags are the best of their kind. They’re thick and reseal very well for storage. My order was awhile ago but it’s come time to re-up on a few that I’m running out of so I was reminded to leave a review. Will be purchasing larger sizes next time. Most likely will be my go to for any herbs etc that I can’t find on iherb (first choice) with la herb being my second choice and Etsy being my third. Thanks for helping cover that gap, with convenience, it really is a relief and you don’t have to search far and wide on the internet for individual herbs you can just go to a few trusted sites in really grateful. I used the various herbs in teas and smoothies by the way. Would recommend. Now I’ll already know to wait the two weeks for arrival. That’s not that long to wait but like I said I panicked after one week with no email update saying it was shipping and after reading the reviews. Now we’re all good. I trust them based on my own experience and I hope that doesn’t change.

Considering I ordered April of 2025 and STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY ORDER in Jan. 2026...stay away from this business. They're a scam!

I brought from this company. The order place in February and I still haven't received the herbs. This is horrible company. I want my money back.

It did take a while to ship, but not necessarily longer than would be appropriate for a smaller operation. I'm really impressed with the products I received (and I got a pretty wide variety): whole herbs/leaves/etc. of products that aren't widely carried and that you can't buy from other bulk herb suppliers. Some of the weights *might* be a bit low when considering the weight of their packaging, but we're talking like tenths of a gram off, and not worth much when the prices of the products are pretty low.

We did get what we bought, but...

Elated that we received our order, realizing that right after I hit purchase, I should have looked up this company before ordering as they do not have the best reviews. Thankfully we did receive our Tigers milk mushroom, however, there's a few negative considerations sadly.

I give them 3 stars because
1. I do not trust any company that does not have a phone contact available.
- This is not as big a deal if you can see the people who create the products... (which they do not have)
2. we ordered a lb, which is 453gm.
But with the bag weight included on 2 different scales, we only received 439/440gm with plastic bag included, this means we we're shorted a minimum of 15-18grams, which now has to be factored into the cost of the ingredient.

And for others ordering this product,
Also know that there is no fruiting body, only sclerotium which is easier to grow (less time)

Overall the experience is ok & at least it wasn't a scam. But I do question buying from them again,

After they responded to my email which included pictures showing the missing weight, they did send some of the remainder, though almost begrudgingly it seemed. I can say that they are a real company at some level, they do respond to emails & they did (At least for me) ship what we ordered.

It's a trust fall with this company I feel.

Someone really aughta shut this place down, seeing as I never received my order, and nobody else who orders from them does, either. Had to get my refund through my payment method, seeing as they don't believe in answering emails. A good chunk of us ordering from this place have our own businesses/side hustles, so it's not only inconvenient to have such poor service, it's a logistics nightmare that adds up far too quickly. You are far better off buying from small conjure/metaphysical shops (bontanicas y yerberias), or health food stores online or in your area. Been ordering from indie magick shops for years, never had this issue in those settings, not even on flagrantly horrible platforms like Etsy. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU APPRECIATE YOUR MONEY & SANITY.

Like many other reviews, it took a month to receive my product of Indian gooseberries. I received a big bag of dried out shell; I could not find a single gooseberry in the package.
I emailed them twice woth no response so I am taking it up with my credit card company to get my money back.
