Steel from the poor and give to the rich. I totally understand how you all feel, we felt that the conservatives were not doing a decent job but at least they were not taking money off the elderly, poor and disabled. Now Keir Starmer and his merry men we all thought that Labour is for the working person, well we where all fooled. And come tomorrow 18/3/25 we will find out what the elderly, poor and disabled are further going to loose out on. It's not as if we haven't already lost out on enough, just take the winter fuel payment why do you keep targetting the poor, disabled and elderly when you should be out there targeting the tax avaison people who have done it for years or are some of your merry men part of this group and that is why you won't touch them, well I think that you will need to make the best of it in your 4 year ruling. But me personally I think that the people who voted for you should be allowed to vote again as a no confidence vote towards you, if you think that you are doing good then let the people vote again and lets see. LET THE PEOPLE CHOOSE!!!!!!

Once again the disabled are being attacked. Perhaps everyone should be disabled. I am very glad I die not vote for this party. They do not care, they only care for the selves. Just like the Tories. I've voted Labour all my life but never again after they've hit the pensioners and are now going to hit the disabled i understand thay need to get the economy back on track but why do governments allways pick on the elderly vulnerable and the less fortunate in society ? Why don't thay hit the big companies who make big profits and then brag about it i.e. the energy companies and not to mention the cost of keeping elegal immigrants in hotels

It looks on the face of it that the Chancellor Rachel Reeves is set on reducing the amount of cash savers can deposit into a tax free Cash ISA with reliable figures indicating a reduction from the current £20,000 down to £4,000 which in real terms is an 80% cut, that's massive!!!
What this shows is that the Labour party are a tax hungry monster with an insatiable appetite for more of our hard earned cash with the central philosophy at their core of 'your money is our money' in order to fuel their 'tax and waste investment in public services' agenda and Reeves knows full well that the vast majority of savers will put their savings into another bank account which will necessitate the government slicing of 20% tax from the savings interest for themselves, and many ordinary savers will be hesitant to put their cash into Stocks & Shares ISA's because that's investing, not saving, and returns are never guaranteed and neither is your initial cash investment either, that's what the financial companies disclaimer always says in the small print, but we need to be clear and understand that 'universal poverty' has always been and will always be a Labour ideal.

My late father was a life-long member, as am I, & my daughter has been a member since the age of 14. I feel very let down by them.

Contacted one of my councillors (who are all Labour in this area) about a homeless person who has been begging near the train station since COVID! I contacted the other councillor about it last August and never got a reply. Nothing was done. Emailed the second councillor this month. No reply. So far.
This party don't care about people. I contacted my MP (Labour safe seat) about cladding issues a few years ago and he wasn't interested.
Now this party have been voted into power and nothing has changed. Homebase has collapsed; electric has not got cheaper; water bills are to rise.

A perfectly predictable question. Given the policy is now one of Labour’s very top priorities - after they effectively last week binned off focusing on bringing migration down - it's a question you’d damn well hope she had an answer for.

Ms Rayner said: "There is plenty of housing already, but there's not enough for the people that desperately need it."
Pointing out the obvious Phillips was quick on the uptake, saying no part of her retort made any sense whatsoever. "You start the interview by telling me that there is a housing crisis and when I remind you that you have said as a government that we are going to have 2.5 million migrants, suddenly there is a lot of housing. Where are these people going to go?"
Gah! What a horrible hell hole to be in! In one foolish sentence Ms Rayner effectively kiboshed the argument underpinning Labour’s now centre-piece bit of policy to build, build, build.
It quickly got worse as she sidestepped to safer ground saying that "far too many people are waiting on council housing lists" (despite the abundance of homes that she says the UK has).The truth is that the whole plan was problematic from the get go and all this proved was that Rayner has simply been pushed centre stage to repeat the "let’s build 1.5m homes" mantra without really understanding the intricacies.

David Lammy the white man hater who wants us to pay out compensation for things that happened centuries ago… yet he holds a job of high office, if you don’t like Britain Lammy, leave your well paid job here and go! If you want to stay… start doing your job you racist.

Wouldn't give any stars for this shower. Paid into my civil service pension for 20 years and receive just over £400 per month, now they have decided they are increasing it by 1.7% under inflation, absolute disgrace. They have crucified pensioners in every way they can and by the looks of it they are not stopping. We worked all out lives and contributed but now we don't matter. This useless goverment just hands billions out to any other country but couldn't care less about its own citizens, absolute disgrace.

Labour = increased unemployment, redundancies, increased taxes. They have no idea on economics or hard working people! Labour said they would be reducing electricity prices yet we are paying double what we paid 6 years ago - electricity is supposed to be cheap for all - labour is in cahoot with the electricity companies who are ripping us off example wind farms produce electricity between 2p and 5p per KWH yet we have to pay 25p to 30p per KWH - we are being ripped off
