I was new to LabJack products and not familiar with much of the terminology used. After only a few emails, I had all the information I needed to connect 12 thermocouples up to a T7 using a Mux80 and two CB37 cards. The information available on the web site is very, very helpful, especially the guides. Hardware and software both are great.

Email response to my questions were always same day, usually within a few hours. I chatted online once and the person who helped me knew the answers and was very courteous.

Overall, I am very satisfied with LabJack.

LabJack offers great products and service and support.

A LabJack U12 unit failed some time ago, probably my fault, and it was
repaired quickly and returned to me, no questions asked, no charge.

You can count on LabJack.

The good: hardware is solid. T7-pro resolution is appreciated. Kipling and LJM are better than expected. Running quadrature encoders is appreciated. Smooth handshake with Visual Studio.

The could-be-better: Actual instrumentation amps would be good for strain gages. Still haven't found a list of all the extended function indexes and what they do. Still a little confused how to set up Clock0 to run at a slower frequency.

Best product and customer services, period.

I've purchased several Labjacks now for use in the laboratory. Their application whitepapers are incredibly useful for speccing and planning. I now have several T4s and T7s measuring thermocouples, pressure gauge readbacks. Their LabView support makes implementation into automated systems very easy. These are an important part of my automation ecosystem that allowed me to stay productive amidst shutdowns in 2020.

Good... usefull... easy

I like specs, size, and price. My applications are not allowed to operate U3-HV with suggested third-party software. I do not have the skills to write my program. In my view, many customers will be heapy to operate LabJck products with the most common software, LabView or DasyLab.

I bought eight or ten of the lab jack temp/humidity/light data recorders and used them daily for information relating to Radon Gas evaluations. Then they were discontinued... no repairs, no spare parts, just gone. Sad because they were great devices, small and easy to deal with on a daily basis.. now they are all broken and I use another type that is not as nice, and costs four times as much.

I Incorporate the OEM T7 into most of my internal custom equipment for process data collection and automated process stations. It's an excellent alternative to a PLC especially when you can write all of your code in a language you're fluent in (C# for example).

Wonderful products solve a lot of connection, control, and data collection situations. The backbone of many labs.

Built in console window was very convenient to conduct simple analog and digital signal testing. With not a lot of effort using libraries provided, one of our teammates could easily write scripts on Python to test different communication protocols. We used LabJack U6 DAQ for testing our current sensors and LED array PCBs.

Very useful device. I purchased this when I was doing a lot of embedded systems design and troubleshooting. It was useful for scripting long-running tests withouth having to muck with hardware too much. The Python API is straightforward.

One thing I might recommend is going for the device with a higher voltage tolerance; I regretted getting the lower-voltage version, because it's so common to need something a bit higher.

I used Labjack U3 models and finished quite few project with my students. Some times it is hard to load drivers and start interfaces but when you install drivers it is quite easy to use. I think the interface should be improved. In my opinion Labjack is one of the best performance/price products for the data accusations.

I have used a lot of Labjacks in school during my Ms and Ph.D. and for my startups too. Their equipment is great. You can find DAQs for all the budgets. I have used from the cheapest old model U12 all the way to the T7, but my favorite for its high ratio performance/price is the U3-HV. But I need to highlight that the best of Labjack company is its EXCELLENT customer support. I remember sending emails as early as 7 AM and late as 11 PM and, I don't know where they are located, but I have always received an answer in less than 1 hour.

You guys are gonna probably read this, I only want to say thank you so much, you are great. I remember 2 people's names Toby and David, but I am pretty sure the rest of the team must also be equally fantastic!

Sorry. I used LabJack in some project which required a wired interface between a PC and my hardware but I have forgotten what I did with it. I've been retired from Stanford Linear Accelerator for ten years now. I do have fond memories of the unique capabilities of the LabJack.

The gear works has expected. Good quality design, construction, and documentation.

It saved my back. Data acquisition device within budget.

Support helped me understand how feedbackArguments were sent to getFeedback() in python. Had struggled for some time, thinking I had to create new feedbackArguments every call, since I wanted to change state of u3.BitStateWrite(14, LCLsetting['SWactivLEDst']) output each time. Once I realized the setup did not need to be change, just change the ...LEDst, it saved cycle time in my call. Thanks!

Quick to ship, easy to setup and did everything as advertised!

The scripting examples were extremely helpful and much more thorough and documented than many other competitors. For the price, ease of setup, component availability, and shipping time, five stars was easy!
