Kwork website interface is very clean and simple to understand. That is the reason I have joined this website. Almost 4 year passed, I have got lots of orders from this website and still getting. On the other hand, customer support is very professional and gives you fast and accurate answers on your questions. No doubt, the perfect marketplace for buyers and sellers looking for a freelancer marketplace for work. Highly recommended!

Kwork Is No Longer a Freelancer-Friendly Platform

I strongly recommend freelancers reconsider using Kwork.

I worked on Kwork for more than four years, but my freelancer profile was simply closed because, according to the platform, only Russian citizens are now allowed to work as freelancers. Freelancers from other countries can apparently only place orders as clients. How does that make sense for a platform that presents itself as an international marketplace?

The support system is extremely disappointing, and this has apparently been an issue for years. Freelancers are not properly listened to, meaningful new features are rare, and the platform feels outdated. On top of that, the fees and pricing structure are not attractive for freelancers.

After more than four years of work on the platform, having my profile closed because of my citizenship was extremely frustrating.

I personally do not recommend Kwork anymore. I believe freelancers should consider leaving the platform and moving to international alternatives that actually value freelancers regardless of their nationality.

Freelancers deserve better than this.

Я зарегистрировалась на Kwork как исполнитель и столкнулась с проблемой, которая, на мой взгляд, показывает серьезный недостаток самой системы.
Конкуренция среди исполнителей высокая, при этом реальных заказов немного. Исполнителю приходится тратить время на отклики, переписку и выполнение дополнительных требований заказчиков еще до того, как появляется хоть какая-то гарантия заказа. Встречаются и ситуации, когда заказчик получает от исполнителя тестовое задание или другую работу, но до заказа дело так и не доходит.
В моем случае заказчица прислала мне тест на определение темперамента. Тест открывался по ссылке, которую она предоставила. Я прошла его и ответила на вопросы. То есть со своей стороны я выполнила то, что от меня требовалось на этом этапе.
Однако впоследствии Kwork прислал мне уведомление о том, что я якобы не ответила заказчику в течение 24 часов. Площадка расценила ситуацию как нарушение правил и в результате закрыла мой профиль и снизила рейтинг моих кворков.
Получилась парадоксальная ситуация: заказчик сам отправляет исполнителя проходить тест по внешней ссылке, исполнитель выполняет задание, но система Kwork не считает это ответом в переписке на площадке. При этом ответственность за такую организацию взаимодействия полностью возлагается на исполнителя.
Именно это меня возмутило больше всего. Если площадка устанавливает правило, что ответ должен быть обязательно зафиксирован именно в ее чате, она должна сделать это совершенно очевидным для исполнителя. Более того, если заказчик отправляет исполнителя на внешний ресурс, логично было бы предусмотреть возможность зафиксировать факт выполнения такого задания непосредственно в системе.
Вместо этого исполнитель получает санкцию и снижение рейтинга, хотя не пытался игнорировать заказчика и фактически выполнил его требование.
При этом комиссия площадки достаточно высокая, а конкуренция между исполнителями огромная. В результате фрилансер рискует не только потратить время на потенциального заказчика, но и получить снижение рейтинга из-за ситуации, которую сам заказчик фактически и создал.
После такого опыта возникает вопрос: насколько вообще защищены интересы исполнителя на Kwork?
Я не считаю нормальной систему, в которой от исполнителя требуется соблюдать многочисленные правила под угрозой санкций, тогда как действия заказчика могут привести к проблемам для исполнителя.
Мой опыт с Kwork оказался именно таким: много конкуренции, мало гарантированных заказов, много времени уходит на отклики и общение с потенциальными клиентами, а при спорной ситуации риски в первую очередь несет исполнитель.
Поэтому сейчас я отношусь к этой площадке с большим недоверием и не могу рекомендовать ее фрилансерам как безопасную и справедливую площадку для работы.

Ich wollte Kwork nutzen, um ein Promo-Video für eine Anwendung zu bestellen. Dafür musste ich meine Telefonnummer verifizieren. Es stellte sich heraus, dass meine Nummer noch mit einem alten Account verknüpft war, den ich vor langer Zeit erstellt hatte.

Ich habe mich in den alten Account eingeloggt und diesen ordnungsgemäß gelöscht. Als ich danach versuchte, meine Nummer im neuen Account hinzuzufügen, meldete das System weiterhin stur: "Die Nummer ist bereits mit einem anderen Konto verknüpft".

Das System gibt gelöschte Telefonnummern nicht automatisch frei. Man kann trotz Löschung des Alt-Accounts keinen Auftrag erteilen und verschwendet nur seine Zeit. Absolut undurchdachtes, starres und kundenunfreundliches System. Nicht zu empfehlen!

This app is not really suppose to be recognize to be honest, this app is poor very bad not good, even some times scams. Just wish it could be banned cause lots of users are going to loose instead of gaining from the app. Imagine investing all your money, time, effort, Knowledge and skills to earn and the end of the day all the money got cancelled without them given you a tangible reason why they did that all they have to say is that 'we reviewed activities on your account and the decision made was final' that's all Imagine that.
I recently just lost $1,000+ on the account with my friend he was unable too withdraw and all the money was gone. All this looks suspicious until i went into it, they blocked the account and they refunded all the buyers i worked with so i was able to reach out to one of them which is very trustworthy i said that kwork refunded her but she said she saw nothing for weeks which means not all the buyers got the refund which seems to be lots of them may not see the refund if i'm able to reach them so kwork tryna scam their ass what a scam. Well this app is not recommendable if you are a freelancer. This app need to be closed so frustrating WTF.......

I have been working on Kwork since 2022, and it has been a truly reliable platform for me. I have completed many orders and received all my payments on time, without any issues.
What I appreciate most is the payment system. Unlike Fiverr, where you wait 14 days for clearance, Kwork pays twice a week. This makes a real difference for freelancers who depend on steady income.
The platform is trustworthy, buyers are genuine, and the support team is responsive. Kwork has genuinely changed my life by giving me consistent work and the ability to support my family.
Thank you to the entire Kwork team for building such a freelancer-friendly platform. I respect what you are doing and highly recommend Kwork to anyone looking for a fair and reliable place to grow their freelance career.

I had a very disappointing experience with this platform. As a seller, they initially charge a 20% commission, and additional fees are applied again during withdrawal, which feels excessive.

Customer support is another major issue. There is no proper access to a real person—only automated responses that seem copied and pasted, regardless of the query. This makes it very difficult to resolve any concerns.

Due to these issues, I have decided to stop using this website and will be deleting my seller account. I would not recommend this platform to other sellers or buyers. There are much better alternatives available.

I have been a top-rated seller on this platform for 4 years, but enough is enough. Kwork is a trap for professional freelancers. They market themselves as a 'cheap' alternative, but it is the designers who pay the price with their sweat and blood.

The economics are insane: they charge a 20% commission on every sale plus an additional 7% for withdrawals. They try to copy Fiverr’s model but fail to realize their clients’ budgets are 6-7 times lower. You end up working for pennies while the platform takes nearly a third of your money.

The clients here are often toxic and cheap, demanding 'premium' work for $10. If they complain, Kwork Support always takes their side. If you dare to ask 'sharp' questions or challenge their unfair system, the support team will ignore you for weeks or simply block you.

This is Digital Totalitarianism. The moderators act like dictators, and there is zero respect for those who actually build the platform's value. If you value your time and dignity, stay away from this Russian-based exchange. It’s a dead end

They turned out to be scammers. Briefly, I submitted several orders, and someone contacted me claiming to be the service provider. He insisted that I send additional money through Binance and other methods. After I transferred a few hundred dollars (first via bank transfer, later in cryptocurrency), he did not provide any service and instead began sending mocking and abusive messages on WhatsApp.

À ce jour, malgré mes démarches, la plateforme ne m’a toujours pas apporté de réponse ni confirmé avoir pris les mesures nécessaires pour sécuriser la situation.

Deux fraudes distinctes se sont produites successivement, ce qui souligne la gravité de l’incident.
Dans l’attente d’un retour officiel et d’actions correctives de la part de la plateforme, je reste particulièrement vigilant quant à l’utilisation de mes données personnelles et de mes moyens de paiement.

I would like to inform you that I have been the victim of a hacking incident, which appears to originate from the Kwork platform.
To date, despite my attempts to contact them, the platform has not provided any response nor confirmed that the necessary security measures have been taken.

Two separate fraudulent incidents occurred consecutively, highlighting the seriousness of the situation.
While awaiting an official response and corrective actions from the platform, I am exercising increased vigilance regarding the use of my personal data and payment information.

This statement is intended solely to provide transparent information about the ongoing situation.

Kwork is looting money from freelancers the only working method is webmoney and 80% of your funds will burn in the fees and you will get only 20% of the funds.
This platform is pathetic

I’ve been a genuine freelancer on Kwork, using only one account and following all platform rules. After completing my first order successfully, the buyer confirmed delivery and left a positive review. However, shortly afterward, Kwork suddenly suspended my account, canceled the completed order, and withheld my payment.

I’ve contacted support multiple times, but they refuse to share details of the so-called “violation,” only saying it was an internal review. I never used a VPN, multiple accounts, or did anything against their terms.

It’s really disappointing for freelancers who work honestly to have their accounts restricted without a clear reason or any transparency. I hope Kwork reviews their investigation process and ensures fair treatment for genuine sellers.

If you know what's best for you, leave this platform and head to a better platform to avoid stories that touches the heart. Kwork doesn't care about the scammers over there both from the buyers and most especially the sellers. The platform is just like a football pitch where all players play without any organisers. Most good reviews are hoax. Poor customer services. Sellers wants to work outside platform. Sellers can't withdraw their money after work is done, buyers getting scammed on numerous occasions. JUST STAY AWAY!!!

Absolutely Scam! They refunded an order because of poor buyer's internet connection, who couldn't properly test the web app.

You only get 3 days to review work. If you're a Fortune 500 who has a long review cycle, this is not an ideal place to allocate budget. We looked at moving $500k/mo in spend here, but didn't make sense. They don't want your money.

HOW SCAMMER WORK !!!!!!!
So i was looking for someone to create a youtube BOT. I found couple of people, some of them sounded to have more expertise, some less. But because i did not have any practical knowledge, i choosed the one that seemed most knowledgeable in what i need.
He asked me to continue our conversation in Telegram.
He said that it will cost 550$ and develop in two weeks.
He said that wants 350$ deposit, i said that will give 250$ and rest once is done. He wanted the money through crypto, i said that i want a more transparent method, and choosed Revolut. He gave me the email link, i transferred the money and he received.

After two days he said that he needs some Premium API, that his business partner is creating, i started chatting with him, and he asked another 350$. I accepted, used as well Revolut to transfer.
In return he gave back some basic Phyton code.
The funny thing was that i received on email to whom i transfered the money. I was given two different emails link for transfer in Revolut, but both went to the same person called : Toyin Olaosebikan
So here was the first warning.

But the first guy said this is what is needed and there should be no more costs. And after a day, he said that need extra API for some integration and this should be final costs. another 300$.

Obviously here i stopped, understanding that is a Scam. I know is a dead end here, but is a good lesson ))) Hope will help someone to to do the same mistake. Do not send any money, use platforms that protect both users, you to get the service, and second to get the money.
They might get different accounts, even make pages loog legit.
PS: they are from Africa.

Also i found other users, not sure if they are the same, but also claimed to be profesionals, but only start working after you transfer them money. They are very manipulative. be carefull.
