Easy to use website builder with a quick and helpful Support service. Good choice of design and layouts that are adaptable and customisable. Adding a 'shop' page and products is simple to do, I sell via PayPal (other choices available) which all works seamlessly with email notification when you have a sale. Kopage gets a definite recommendation from me.

Best website builder / management script I came across for years! Bought three licences for 3 websites already (kopage plus; two for my sites and one for my son’s). The ease, the flexibility and the variety of functions and options never stop amazing me. Well worth the money!

Support is useless and doesn't even reply all the time.
This solution is good for simple sites but terrible for anything more complex. Especially ecommerce. Its also bad for seo. Do not recommend unless it is for a simple site

I’ve Got The Bug – PERFECT Alternative!

After using Wordpress for me and my clients ever since it first came out, I’ve always been hit with the same comment after giving them their login credentials … ‘It’s too complicated’ … and so I ended up helping them do something with their website otherwise it remains stagnant in cyber space.

I’ve used Wix, Squarespace, Weebly and all those but you are simply stuck with what they offer and you can build little more than a very, very basic website so, not good for clients and almost impossible to rank them on the search engines, I’ve found.

Recently, I came across Kopage and I thought I would give it a try as it was a low cost and the perfect alternative to WordPress as it is powerful yet easy to work with.

I built my first website in minutes and it looked good. I even embedded my podcasts onto a page to add value for visitors. THIS is the answer I’d been looking for, for a long time.

Kopage has the extras, if you need them, and for the more adventurous user, you can mess with the page code as well … something for everyone.

I’ve now got the bug after using their hosting and my own (your choice) and just can’t believe how easy the websites are to maintain and support.

This is the highlight product of the year, for me so, I recommend you grab this platform now because you’re going to love using it.

I discovered Kopage when I was looking for a way to build a small portfolio website. It has turned out to be the perfect solution. I'll explain why...

I'd used WordPress before, but that seemed like overkill for the site I'm talking about. (Also, I knew that I'd have to pay a lot of money to add all the plug-ins that I'd need to make a WordPress site look good - and it would doubtless run slow because of all the bloat.) The alternative was to code it myself, but I'm not an expert and I could see that taking me ages - time I didn't have.

Then I found Kopage - available for free as part of a cheap hosting package from my existing provider (HostMaria, a 20i reseller). And it's great! I must note here that the earlier versions of the software were rather limited in functionality and wouldn't have served my needs, but the present one (4.4) is quite excellent.

What you get is a simple way to build and customise a fast, good-looking website. There are lots of included templates, so you could just pick one of those and change the details as needed, but for me the best part is that it's built on Bootstrap and you can edit the HTML/CSS (and add JavaScript) manually, giving you almost total control.

That's the way I've used it: adding a block to get myself in the ballpark, then customising the code to meet my needs. It's the perfect middle way between building a site from scratch and using one of those web builders that force you to use components exactly as they're designed.

There IS a bit of a learning curve if you want to take that route, but it's worth it. The visual builder isn't (yet) quite as advanced as the WordPress page builders I've used before, so that does make it necessary to play with the HTML/CSS if you want to fine-tune things. On the other hand, though, the software comes with a great suite of SEO features and a range of plug-in modules that can help you add all kinds of functionality to the site.

Overall, considering what I paid for this, I'm absolutely delighted. I got a great-looking, very fast site, nicely optimised for SEO, designed exactly the way I wanted it, and put together in a few days - even though my coding skills were very rusty.

Good web builder, best I have seen, works without difficulty, child could do the work. Behind this simple system there is a full advanced 'world' to explore, to edit, even CSS, Javascript (only if you wish) or HTML, adding things to the head (very important feature for me), and the client service is actually Top of the Top. They help you like you are a team with them, never experienced such a Top service. Actually, i have to say, it works gorgeous. I now have the feel, I am used to it, and everything goes without thinking, works perfectly. I am careful when I copy and paste HTML (which nobody has to do, but I like that), but I know how the HTML can be created and beautifully manipulated with classes like display-3 and all bootstrap classes for example, adding my own CSS, everything works great. And.... the most beautiful fade effect when you open a webpage. I hope this fade effect will never be removed from the options...! :)

As a professional software developer I seldom have any interest in things such as site builders, but I have found this one excellent. Being able to add html, javascript and php code made the difference for me, allowing me to use the site builder as a front end to a php/sql back end.

I have had a few issues which have been dealt with very quickly so very pleased so far.

It's ok for very basic websites.
They're unable to export a website to WordPress enabling some great plugins. So my site is lock-in to a hole

Only positive feedback for Kopage, this was a hidden gem for me, that I discovered 1 year ago and never abandoned since then. The only problem with Kopage is that it does not have the visibility it deserves (not yet).

More than 50% of websites made with CMSs like Wordpress out there should and could be built (with way less effort and much more fun) with Kopage.

I am speaking as a solo developer who has no time to install a salad of plugins and other stuff just to have a landing page, or landing site, for my apps. I want something quick, cool yet customizable that I can launch and maintain in minutes, not days. Kopage is the way to go, seriously.

Of course, you cannot build a huge community, e-commerce etc. with Kopage...you need to understand which type of tool it is. But native integrations with Google tools, Tawk.to (for free chats), Calendly etc. are a clear sign that the devs behind it are aware of the current state of the art, and they want to enable pretty much everyone to simply build a website that look very nice, very well usable and cool.

Also, the guys who run it are super friendly, I was able to reach out to them via email and I proposed a lot of things that can improve this great tool and keep it up-to-date and future-proof.

Kopage is an OK web builder, but is severely restricted when you want to do anything customised.
Slightly odd that you can change all the web pages colours, barr the menu except with custom CSS, but they won't tell you how to change the CSS unless you opt for the $75 an hour tech support. Extremely Disappointing.

- Found the answer to my question (how do i change the menu colours using CSS). as I got a partial answer so I've added a star. It would have been four stars with an apology but an eMail i received changed my mind about that.

The website builder is easy to use, you really can build a website, from scratch, very quickly and professional looking. Maybe as important is the cusomer service is excellent, quick to respond and eager to listen.

I'm leaving five stars to acknowledge the great customer support these guys offer. It's a rarity in this age of "solve it yourself" drop-down help answers most companies now use.
I just started building my own website using Kopage. In the past I've used SiteBuilder and WordPress (and I definitely don't find WordPress to be a user friendly experience!). I like Kopage because it was easy for me to navigate and figure out especially with the responsive help of their customer support. I'm happy, so far, with the ease I had in creating a visually appealing and interactive website. I'm looking forward to some new features they are rolling-out in the coming weeks.

Wow! I'm loving this Kopage site-building software. I've worked with a few back in the day and a few in recent years, none as dynamic, intuitive, responsive and quick as Kopage! In fact, Kopage makes amateur site-builders like me look like I really know what I'm doing! LOL.
